Power Computations for Polynomial Change Models in Block-Randomized Designs

Education experiments frequently assign students to treatment or control conditions within schools. Longitudinal components added in these studies (e.g., students followed over time) allow researchers to assess treatment effects in average rates of change (e.g., linear or quadratic). We provide methods for a priori power analysis in three-level polynomial change models for block-randomized designs. We discuss unconditional models and models with covariates at the second and third level. We illustrate how power is influenced by the number of measurement occasions, the sample sizes at the second and third levels, and the covariates at the second and third levels.     

压缩感知在脉冲超宽带穿墙雷达中的应用

传统的超宽带穿墙雷达数据采样需要满足 Nyquist 采样定理,超宽带大数据量增大了 A/D 转换时的硬件压力,压缩感知理论突破了传统 Nyquist 采样的限制,它是基于信号的稀疏性,测量矩阵的随机性和非线性优化算法来对信号进行压缩采样和重构.文章针对超宽带穿墙雷达的具体工作过程和穿墙雷达目标成像空间的稀疏性提出了一种基于压缩感知理论的成像方法,并通过仿真表明了该方法的可行性和有效性.     

菜用大豆核心种质构建策略研究

核心种质是种质资源研究的新领域,构建核心种质是研究和利用植物遗传资源的便捷途径。本研究采用基于田间实际数据的计算机模拟方法构建两个菜用大豆种质资源群体,应用最小距离逐步取样法研究菜用大豆核心种质的构建策略,采用极差符合率和变异系数变化率两个参数对构建策略进行评价,利用主成分分析确认核心种质的代表性。研究表明,采用最小距离逐步取样法构建菜用大豆核心种质的最佳遗传距离为欧式距离,最佳取样比例为95%。     

上海市过江车辆轮渡与黄浦江大桥关系及发展趋势的探讨

本文通过对南陆线、民丹线和东嫩线等主要过江车辆渡运量的预测、统计与分析,全面论述了过江车辆渡与黄浦江大桥的关系。指出了大桥建成后车辆渡的地位与作用并不会萎缩,它仍旧是车辆过江交通工具的主力。即使是紧靠大桥的南陆线车渡也决不能撤除,它将与大桥、隧道形成一个完善的立体越江交通网络。     

A Comment on “The Adventures of Lead Commander: An Environmental Education Program to Prevent Lead Poisoning in Young Children”

Abstract

This article comments on a study designed to examine the effectiveness of the family-based, environmental education lead-poisoning program, The Adventures of Lead Commander (Marlowe & Trathen, 1996). Design and methodological weaknesses, such as the use of hair lead concentrations as a biomarker, call into question conclusions reached in the study. The effectiveness of the educational program cannot be ascertained from the data collected. It should be stressed, however, that environmental education projects such as The Adventures of Lead Commander are important in helping to educate the public and school children about lead poisoning and ways of minimizing exposure to this neurotoxin. Education and removal of lead sources are primary methods of reducing lead exposure.     

一种基于遗传算法的采样网页更新策略

研究一种基于采样的网页更新策略,并在此基础上提出一种基于遗传算法的求网页改变率及影响其值的相关参数的方法。     

输出快采样的ARMA模型最小二乘盲辨识方法

利用输出比输入快速采样方法研究ARMA模型的盲辨识问题,提出了最小二乘盲辨识方法。通过选择适当的快采样率及归一化系统模型参数之后,仅利用快采样得到的输出信号实现了系统模型参数的估计。仿真例子表明所提盲辨识方法的有效性。
