Toward a User-Centered Academic Library Home Page

ABSTRACT

In the past decade, academic libraries have struggled with the design of an effective library home page. Since librarians' mental models of information architecture differ from those of their patrons, usability assessments are necessary in designing a user-centered home page. This study details a usability sequence of card sort and paper and online survey methods conducted at the Auraria Library, which serves the University of Colorado Denver, the Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the Community College of Denver. The three top complaints about the existing Web page included information overload, lack of visual cues and guidance, and difficulty getting to what students knew was the heart of the library's Web page: online resources. Using qualitative and quantitative data from the card sorting sessions, the Web librarian, under the direction of the Web Advisory Committee, was able to create a more user-centered home page. Unique to this study are the use of undergraduate students in creating test instruments and a means of gathering information about what students value most in their library's home page.     

4040A型喷油器垫片分选控制系统的设计

喷油器垫片分选关系到喷油器产品的品质,传统垫片分选需大量工人进行人工分选,属于劳动密集型工作,为降低工人的劳动强度,设计了4040A型喷油器垫片分选控制系统。分选机采用PLC作为主控系统,通过伺服电机控制模拟压力,在运动过程中测量喷油体组件和后顶针组件的长度,再经计算选出合适的垫片;同时介绍了垫片分选机的工作过程、实现方法等。运行结果表明,该控制系统能实现自动测量、自动选取垫片的功能,达到预期效果。     

基于Heritrix和Lucene的专题搜索引擎研究

专题搜索引擎也称垂直搜索引擎,主要用来满足特定领域的用户需求。Heritrix是开源的网络爬虫,Heritrix的WebUI启动方式并不易用于广大用户。本文改变了往常对Heritrix用法,摒弃了Heritrix的WebUI启动方式,对Heritrix源码进行修改,将Lucene整合到Heritrix中,构建成一个完整的搜索引擎,并通过监听器监听搜索引擎状态,使搜索引擎能够进行自动爬取和数据更新。同时,本文添加了网页过滤模块以及对查询结果排序算法进行了改进,提高了搜索引擎的易用性和查询的准确率。     

人工细胞的表型测试与分选:构建从光谱学到遗传学的桥梁

近年来,基因组测序、编辑与合成技术日新月异,推动了基因型"设计"和"合成"能力的突飞猛进,同时也使人工细胞的表型检测成为合成生物学发展的瓶颈环节之一。对于细胞功能的快速测试与评价,单细胞分析技术具有重要意义与前景,但理想的解决方案需要具备活体无损、非标记式、提供全景式表型、能分辨复杂功能、快速高通量且低成本、能与组学分析联动等特征。以此为出发点,文章重点介绍了基于非标记式分子光谱学的单细胞功能表征、分选与组学技术体系的进展,并讨论了该领域的关键问题与发展方向。多种光谱技术之间扬长避短的运用与多模态成像,结合高通量的光谱激活细胞分选技术及下游单细胞组学技术,正构建与拓展着一条连接光谱学与遗传学的广阔桥梁。这一桥梁不仅为细胞工厂的高通量、全景式表型检测与筛选提供全新的解决方案,还将推动"单细胞精度的光谱表型组-功能基因组"作为一种新的生物大数据类型,服务于"数据科学"驱动下的合成生物技术。

北朝本土文学家的别集流传与整理

北朝本土文学以其词义贞刚的独特风貌,为即将到来的唐代文学高峰提供了重要范本.但是由于明清易代之际兵火散亡,北朝本土文人文集大多佚失不传,对现有北朝本土文献的流传以及保存整理情况加以系统梳理是研究北朝文学的基础性工作.     

新编《李鸿章全集》的学术价值

晚清重臣李鸿章19世纪后半期长期把持朝政,是影响中国近代历史的关键人物之一。由著名学者顾廷龙、戴逸先生担任主编的新编《李鸿章全集》,是列入国家古籍整理重点项目、国家清史基础工程大型文献整理项目,历时15年,经由安徽教育出版社2008年1月出版发行,这是一项规模宏大、收集完备的大型文献的编辑出版工程。详细披露该书的资料收集、整理编纂的过程,探究其学术价值,对于深入研究重要历史人物李鸿章以及他所身处的中国近代历史,有着十分重要的实事求是的学术影响,也将会对进一步拓展性研究产生积极的‘作照,     

Multi-objective optimization of water supply network rehabilitation with non-dominated sorting Genetic Algorithm-Ⅱ

Through the transformation of hydraulic constraints into the objective functions associated with a water supply network rehabilitation problem, a non-dominated sorting Genetic Aigorithm-Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ) can be used to solve the altered multi-objective optimization model. The introduction of NSGA-Ⅱ into water supply network optimal rehabilitation problem solves the conflict between one fitness value of standard genetic algorithm (SGA) and multi-objectives of rehabilitation problem. And the uncertainties brought by using weight coefficients or punish functions in conventional methods are controlled. And also by introduction of artificial inducement mutation (AIM) operation, the convergence speed of population is accelerated; this operation not only improves the convergence speed, but also improves the rationality and feasibility of solutions.

一种新的高效基数排序算法

排序是数据处理中一种很重要拘运算,能够方便数据的查找。常用内排序算法时间复杂度接近O（n^2）,优化的排序算法接近O（nlog2n）。基于基数排序的新排序方法,通过对关键字的低半部和高半部做两次基数排序,快速实现排序功能。最后给出了新排序算法和常用排序算法的数据排序效率比较,实验证明,它可以使算法的时间复杂度达到O（N）,算法的效率远远高于常规的排序算法。
