从教与学的良性循环探讨大学英语课堂教学互动

在以学生为主体的课堂上,教与学是一种互动的形式。在英语教学中,教师应当善于且有效地实施互动模式,加强师生间交流,促进教与学的良性循环。     

VLOOKUP函数在学生体质健康评价中的应用研究

通过对Excel中VLOOKUP函数进行剖析,以学生体质健康评价为例,对VLOOKU函数进行调用实验。研究发现VLOOKUP函数可以有效提高学生体质健康评价的准确性和工作效率。但在应用时务必正确设置函数参数,避免出现批量错误。另外,VLOOKUP函数灵活性较大,应用时人为误差和失误率会加大,专业、人性、智能的学生体质健康评价软件需进一步普及推广。     

休闲与物理学创造的双向互动性

休闲是科学诞生的基本条件之一。作为时间形态存在着的休闲（闲暇时间）是物理学创造活动得以进行的基本保证,而作为实践形态而存在的休闲则极大地推动了物理学的突飞猛进,并通过技术的中介,给人类社会带来了高度的物质文明和精神文明,反过来在延长了休闲时间的同时,又丰富了休闲的内容与方式。在当今知识爆炸时代与信息化时代,无论是对任何一门学科的教学而言,学校主管部门特别是具体授课者,都应该力求做到得心应手地给学生＂留下空间＂。因为只要有了空间,学生就不仅能够在积极向上、形式各异、多姿多彩的校园文化这个心灵的驿站中,获得精神的慰藉,从而陶冶了情操、恢复了体能、增强了交际能力;而且还能够充分利用课余的闲暇时间,在开放性、交互性、共享性、协作性和自主性的信息化环境中,积极主动地去猎取适合发展自己个性特长的有关知识,进而使他们的知识结构,能够跟得上新知识、新学科与日俱增的时代步伐。     

Diverse socio-technical aspects of a digital archive of Aboriginal languages

ABSTRACT

A socio-technical approach is taken to explore a digital archive of Australian Indigenous cultural heritage. The Living Archive of Aboriginal Languages is considered in terms of what it is currently doing and what it was intended to do. Two ethnographic stories focusing on user interactions and the outcomes of an online survey serve to evaluate the effectiveness of the Archive from the perspective of different users. This is then juxtaposed with a consideration of the original grant application, outlining what was envisaged for the project. This analysis serves to highlight some of the contingent relations and diverse socio-technical aspects of a specific knowledge infrastructure, as it allows multiple forms of interaction, new connections and generative activities as people discover, access and interact with the content now and into the future.     

A comparison of student teachers’ perceptions of school placement experience in Malta and China Compare

ABSTRACT

This study explores the insights about teaching that student teachers elicit from schools when they go on their first school placements. It thereby offers an appraisal of how student teachers experience teaching when still at the relatively early stages of training and how they are socialised into a role where they become protagonists who can create a positive teaching climate in the classroom. The authors approach this study from the perspective of construction of meanings and consider the discourse that takes place in candidate teacher-student interactions in two university settings – in Malta and China, respectively. The study shows how student teachers believe that cultures and cultural differences need to be clearly considered across the curriculum if schools are to promote active learning equitably.     

The Development and Evaluation of the Intersectional Privilege Screening Inventory for Use With Counselors-in-Training

As counselor preparation programs are compelled to demonstrate student social and cultural competence, valid inventories are needed to measure development consistent with contemporary standards. The Intersectional Privilege Screening Inventory was created for this purpose, was assessed using 4 types of validity evidence, and has results supporting its use in student development.     

The Potential Impact of COVID-19 on Student Learning and How Schools Can Respond

There is no denying the impact that the coronravirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak has had on many aspects of our lives. This article looks at the potential impact of COVID-19 on student learning as schools abruptly morphed into virtual learning environments using data from several instructional, practice, and assessment solutions offered by Renaissance. First, three hypothetical learning scenarios are considered using normative data from Star assessments to explore the potential impact on reading and math test performace. Next, data on Focus Skills are used to highlight which grades may have missed the most foundational math and reading content if instruction was stopped or reduced. Last, data from two of Renaissance's practice tools are used to evaluate whether students were practicing key skills following school closures. The article concludes that academic decline will likely occur but may be tempered by the increased use of practice tools; effects may look different for math and reading; and may impact grades and schools differently. As such, schools may need to leverage decision-making frameworks, such as the Multi-tiered Systems of Support/Response-to-Intervention (MTSS/RTI) framework, more than ever to identify needs and target instruction where it matters most when school begins in fall 2020.     

Understanding value in the student experience through student–staff partnerships

ABSTRACT

Questions such as ‘what is value in the student experience?’ and ‘how do we measure or assess value in higher education?’ remain an under-researched area. However, in the context of marketisation and competitive forces in higher education, there is a need to unpack what is value in the student experience. In this article, a conceptualisation of value that can be applied in higher education (known as value-in-use) is introduced and applied to a specific and increasingly important aspect of the student experience – student–staff partnerships. Qualitative survey data (n?=?97) and interviews (n?=?35) from ten cases of various manifestations of student–staff partnerships in the Australasian context is presented and assessed in relation to value. The findings highlight that student–staff partnerships may enhance value in the student experience and that value-in-use may be an appropriate lens through which to continue to explore how value is created and measured in the student experience.     

大学生校外兼职劳动权益的法律保障--基于贵州民族大学问卷调查的分析

本文以贵州民族大学校外兼职大学生为主要调查对象展开问卷调查，基于对该群体的基本信息、兼职意向、兼职维权三项内容的数据分析，指出应正确看待大学生校外兼职，给予其积极引导，明确其法律身份，通过多样化方式保障校外兼职大学生应有的劳动权益，从而促进该群体的良性发展。     

中学生主体性与心理健康的相关研究

运用ZTX和MHT量表对郑州市两所中学学生进行问卷调查结果表明：中学生主体性水平与其心理健康水平存在显著负相关;中学生主体性水平越高,其心理健康水平则越高。
