自上世纪90年代以来,我国就面临着严峻的就业形势和巨大的就业压力,大中专毕业生的就业工作越来越被社会所关注。因“涉及千家万户,关系到人民群众的切身利益”,毕业生的就业率及就业层面也就日益成为社会评价各个高校的重要指标。管理和使用好毕业生的档案信息资料,冲破档案利用的种种局限,将隐藏的、静态的档案信息开发成系统的、有价值的和动态的档案信息,不仅对大中专的就业工作起着积极的促进作用,也势必为今后各级各类院校档案工作的发展开辟新的途径。  相似文献

Analyzing 219 blog posts from 52 self-employed women lifestyle bloggers in North America, this study shows how these digital professionals navigate tensions and communicatively constitute work flexibility. In their narratives, women bloggers employed tension management approaches such as reframing, continual connections, and reflective practice in response to tensions in enacting temporal–spatial, identity, and financial flexibility. Specifically, women followed oxymoronic constructions – disciplined freedom, branded authenticity, and dependable independence – to embrace and transform competing poles of fluidity?structure, authenticity?marketability, and independence?interconnection. Expanding work–life research to the self-employed digital labor context, this study responds to recent calls to uncover more-than tension management strategies in empirical settings and contributes to a tension-centered, contextual, and processual analysis of workplace flexibility construction.  相似文献

Academic libraries are increasingly seeking ways to demonstrate their impact on student learning. Acknowledgments - formal statements of indebtedness – in graduate theses and dissertations provide a rather unexplored area for demonstrating impact of the academic library on student learning. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods to characterize acknowledgments of the Texas A&M University Libraries (TAMU Libraries) in theses and dissertations, both overall and for three disciplines specifically: civil engineering, geography, and history. This study also searched for mentions of the TAMU Libraries throughout the entire body of theses and dissertations. Overall, acknowledgments to the TAMU Libraries in theses and dissertations were less than 1%, though acknowledgments were found in all three disciplines with over a quarter of the history theses and dissertations containing an acknowledgment to libraries. There was no statistically significant difference found between the numbers of acknowledgments in theses versus dissertations. Acknowledgments to the TAMU Libraries were found in the theses and dissertations of 28 different departments. Mentions to the TAMU Libraries – not necessarily a formal acknowledgment – were found throughout the text of theses and dissertations with most concentrated in the acknowledgment, method, and bibliography sections.  相似文献

The Australian National University Archives holds both the archives of the University and a large collection of business and labour archives in the Noel Butlin Archives Centre. Both are governed by collecting policies, and neither of these policies mention gender. The purpose of this study was to examine the outcomes of information literacy instruction for the Design first year students at the Temasek Polytechnic Library. Also of interest was whether or not the librarian was being seen as easily approachable, and if the students were deeming the lessons to be worthwhile. A participant action research approach was used, with the data being collected from multiple choice tests delivered via the institutional learning management system, group exercises, and a diagnostic assessment that was delivered before the workshops. It was found that the students did see the librarian as someone who was eminently approachable, and the majority of them found the lessons to be of value. It was concluded that the use of a diagnostic tool can be very useful in highlighting the gaps in students' knowledge, and that it would be beneficial to use it for all information literacy instruction at TP. Suggested future research could include a study of how much the students retain of IL skills into their third year of study.  相似文献

The information-seeking behavior of social science graduate students has been the subject of many studies, but none have concentrated only on the economics graduate student population and their unique needs. The purpose of this focus group study was to use group discussions to understand the actual online behavior of graduate economics students when conducting research. The results provide insight and information about the skills and characteristics of economics graduate students, their first steps in conducting research online, their use of publicly available and library resources, challenges to finding information, and resources used to overcome these challenges.  相似文献

The Internet clearly presents the opportunity for students to expand their knowledge at a fast pace, since they are able to access enormous amount of information. However, accessing the Internet also has its downside since not all information is of good quality. The study explored how 12th grade students at a high school in Ghana evaluated online information sources. These students and the head of the Information Communication Technology department respond to self-administered questionnaires and a semi-structured interview, respectively. The study found that most of the high school students did some kind of an evaluation of online information sources, however, they were not applying the right criteria. The study further revealed that students were not introduced to evaluation criteria at school and this had contributed to the gap in their evaluation competencies.  相似文献

为了祛邪御凶,中国古代墓葬中多有镇墓神物和镇墓图像。这一现象在汉代之前已经出现,汉代墓门两侧的门侍、神兽等图案正是这种镇墓意识的延续。魏晋南北朝时期,继承了在墓门两侧放置守护者的传统,墓室中还多有披甲执锐的镇墓武士形象。同时,在中国本土文化的影响下,以菩萨形出现于佛传故事中的天王,与中国武士形象不断互动交融,最终形成了隋唐墓葬中的镇墓天王俑。晚唐时期,丧葬习俗发生了重大变化,用于守护死者灵魂的镇墓神兽、镇墓天王俑逐渐消失,但仍有天王形象的守护者保护墓主的安宁。不过墓葬的天王形象也逐渐转变为将军门神的形象,且在宋、辽墓葬中继续流行。王处直墓出土的彩绘天王石刻正处于这种转变的关键时期,具有承上启下的重要意义。  相似文献
