英国入职教师教育国家课程探析

英国入职教师教育国家课程对合格教师资格标准,课程总要求,英语、数学、科学和信息交流技术在学科教学中的应用等几个方面进行了规定,并提出了较为具体的要求。实施其课程的目标是达成合格教师资格标准。该课程具有实践性,注重信息交流技术在学科教学中的作用,注重中小学在教师教育课程中的作用。这些启示我们要尽快制定教师资格标准,强化实践性入职教师教育课程并注重对其实施效果进行指导和监督。     

What’s in a name: dimensions of social learning in teacher groups

Induced by a literature review, this paper presents a framework of dimensions and indicators highlighting the underpinning aspects and values of social learning within teacher groups. Notions of social networks, communities of practice and learning teams were taken as the main perspectives to influence this social learning framework. The review exercise resulted in four dimensions: (1) practice, (2) domain and value creation, (3) collective identity and (4) organization. The indicators corresponding to these dimensions serve as the foundation for understanding social learning in practice. The framework of dimensions and indicators can be of assistance for researchers as well as teacher groups that aim to assess their views on social learning and analyse whether these views fit the learning goals of the group or that adjustments are required. In this way, learning processes within groups of teachers can be improved.     

Mathematics-related anxiety and attitudes: examining the impact among Latina preservice teachers

The purpose of this study was to investigate mathematics-related anxiety and attitudes among Latina preservice teachers. Three sections from the Inventory of Mathematics Attitudes, Experience, and Self Awareness were administered to preservice teachers enrolled in a curriculum and instruction mathematics course during the 1st semester of a 2-semester credential program. Pre- and postsurvey data were examined among female students. There were significant differences on 5 statements that suggest positive perceptions about mathematics and 5 statements that suggest negative perceptions about mathematics. We discuss strategies to reduce mathematics anxiety and address attitudes in preservice teachers.     

中职贫困生家庭资本、人力资本与就业支持对就业质量的影响研究

为探讨中职贫困生家庭资本、人力资本和就业支持对就业质量的影响,使用家庭资本量表、人力资本量表、就业质量量表和学校就业支持问卷,对796名中职贫困生的就业情况进行调查。研究发现,家庭资本正向预测就业质量,且家庭文化资本的预测作用大于家庭经济资本和家庭社会资本;人力资本在家庭资本与就业质量关系中起部分中介作用,并受到学校就业支持的调节;充分的就业支持可以弥补家庭资本匮乏及其引发的人力资本薄弱。因此,为提高贫困生就业质量,建议重视并激发家庭文化资本的就业促进功能,建立贫困生人力资本补偿机制及构建主客体资源双向流动的就业支持体系。     

基于网络教学环境的高职外语教师角色分析

分析网络教学特点覆阻碍高职外语教师应用网络教学的原因，提出高职外语教师应实现从“语言专业型”向“一专多能型”教师转变，做学生的导航员、成为教学活动的促进者、交际活动的参与者和外语学习的协助者。     

Voices of teacher candidates of color on white race evasion: ‘I worried about my safety!’

Abstract

This qualitative study investigated the negative impacts minority teacher candidates receive from white teacher candidates in a required multicultural education class. The findings reveal that four teacher candidates of color had difficulty positioning themselves among the overwhelming silencing power of whiteness in the class. The white students were tactful at evading power and race and flattening the existing hierarchical power relations through the discourses of colorblindness and by preying on the minority instructor. Their understanding of diversity was also shallow. On the other hand, the teacher candidates of color were afraid that they might be labeled as the ones who spoke up against the white students and fearful of the possibility of retaliation and ostracism from the white peers. It seems that the teacher education program’s structure allowed the white candidates to impose strong negative peer pressure on the teacher candidates of color.

顺应时代适时转变中等职业学校教师的角色

随着科技的飞速发展和经济社会的急剧变革及其引发的就业结构的调整,中等职业教育从教育目标到教育内容和教育方法等都在发生巨大变革,教师的角色也相应地发生了重大变化。从中职生全面发展的需要来看,中等职业学校教师的角色应顺应时代的发展,朝着伙伴、促进者、帮助者、反思者和研究者等多重性角色演变。     

Special education and general education preservice teachers’ co-teaching experiences: a comparative synthesis of qualitative research

Co-teaching is commonly used to support students with disabilities in inclusive educational settings. However, there is often a gap between the potential effectiveness of co-teaching and actual classroom practice. This study examined preservice teachers’ co-teaching experiences to better understand this gap to identify potential practices for improving teacher training and service delivery. A review of 11 studies revealed that both special education and general education preservice teachers believed that co-teaching practices provided them opportunities to communicate and work collaboratively. Both groups agreed on the significant impact of personality in co-teaching as well as challenges in implementing co-teaching. Furthermore, special education preservice teachers noted that they lacked content knowledge, whereas general education preservice teachers thought they needed more training in the provision of accommodations and modifications. Study limitations, areas for future research, and implications for preservice teacher preparation are discussed.
