On the elephant in the room: toward a generative politics of place on race in academic discourse

Abstract

In our conceptual essay, we draw on an exchange between a White scholar and a group of panelists on Critical Race Theory at an international conference. Taking up this exchange as our point of departure, we work in dialectical and multidimensional ways between the essentialized politics of place on race and critical anti-essentializing foundations in recent Critical Race Feminism and Critical White Studies’ literatures. Working the dialectics and multidimensionality of the place that race makes in academic discourse, we recognize and ethically work through the essentialized politics of place in advancing anti-essentializing understandings of race. In articulating these anti-essentializing understandings, our conceptual essay drives at the notion of a generative politics of place on race in academic discourse. A generative politics of place holds essentialized realities and anti-essentializing foundations of race in dialectical and multidimensional tension for teaching, learning, and discussing race in local, national, and international contexts.     

4-16世纪中国史家对于社会结构与历史演进的理解

历史认识中人本思想提升的一个理论结果,是史学家、思想家对于包括社会结构与历史演进等理论的思考获得深入。古代中国史学家、思想家对于社会结构与历史演进的理论思考,与早熟、发达的国家制度有关,与古代中国特有的史官制度及其文化形态、史学文化传统也有密切的关系。从公元4世纪到16世纪这1000多年观念的发展来看,史家对于社会结构的认识,大致延续了《史记》、《汉书》的传统,体现了大体一致的对社会结构的认识,即呈天、地、人、政治、经济、刑法、军事、政治制度、选官制度、文化的结构顺序。随着社会的发展,中国的史学家、思想家对于社会结构及其历史演进的理解亦不断深化,尤其是对社会经济及其历史意义的认识更是日益丰富。     

时代的回响与无根基的幻想——论《乌有乡消息》的意义与缺憾

威廉·莫里斯在其乌托邦小说《乌有乡消息》中,表现出作为一个社会主义者的革命性,与马克思恩格斯所倡导的社会主义理论存在着某种契合。但威廉·莫里斯在构建他心目中的理想社会时,又暴露出浪漫有余而理性不足的缺点,这使《乌有乡消息》只能停留在空想的层面上。     

对“训练周期”理论的重新审视

马特维耶夫的“训练周期”理论应属于训练的指导思想，而不是具体的训练方案。竞技状态和训练安排出现的周期性，是科学的规律，训练中必须遵循。但“训练周期”理论不能作为具体的训练安排，由于运动训练受许多因素的制约，其任何一种因素发生变化，必然导致整个训练过程实施周期发生改变。因此，必须依据训练的实际变化适时对训练周期进行适当的调节，同时，周期的划分和具体的训练方法应该依项目特点等情况来安排。     

高职思政课实践教学与工学结合叠加教学探索

实践教学是思政课及工学结合不可或缺的重要组成部分。积极推进思政课实践教学与专业顶岗实习的有机结合，重构与工学结合相适应的思政课实践教学体系，以发挥二者间的叠加教学效应。这既是高职培养“全面发展和适应社会需要”的人的题中应有之意，也是高职思政课实践教学改革要着力探索的一种新型方式和途径。

延安是中国革命的圣地和新中国的摇篮,也是中国共产党人的精神家园。中国共产党不仅在延安时期实现了马克思主义中国化的第一次历史性飞跃,确立了毛泽东思想的指导地位,而且培育和形成了伟大的延安精神。在党和国家高度重视大学生思想政治教育、进一步加强和改进高校思想政治理论课教育教学的新形势下,弘扬延安精神既是思想政治理论课教育教学的重要内容,也对高质量地开展思想政治理论课教育教学具有深刻的启示和方法论指导。     

Global convergence or national variation? Examining national patterns of classroom instructional practices

The world culture framework posits a convergence in the organisation of education across the world. On the other hand, scholars observing teaching practices inside classrooms find significant variation among nations and regions of the world. This study examined the global change patterns of classroom practices at the between- and within-country levels, drawing on teacher reports from the Trends in Mathematics and Science Study. Results indicate clear between-country convergence toward more student-centred and conceptual instruction. But a nation’s degree of conformity or resistance to this model was contingent upon other nation-specific factors, including centralised curriculum control or world regional location.     

自闭症认知缺陷的神经机制研究进展

本文对自闭症认知神经机制研究进行了系统回顾。结果表明 ,自闭症的心理推测能力缺陷可能与右侧眶额皮质、左内侧前额皮质及包括杏仁核在内的内侧颞叶等脑区的损伤有关 ;中枢性统合不足可能与小脑病变有关 ;执行功能障碍可能与额叶、基底节异常有关。现有研究结果相当不一致 ,有关上述三种理论及其相互关系的探讨还存在很多争议。
