从跨文化传播视角看中西哲学融合问题

融合中西哲学,一直是近代以来中国哲学发展的主调。然而,原有的融合研究多是停留在静态的、横向的比较上,简单地列举双方的异同优劣,试图通过取长补短来构建中国哲学的创新体系。其实,人类的哲学思想具有很强的民族历史和文化内涵,中西方的哲学融合需要借鉴跨文化传播的研究方法和范式,从文化超越的层面进行审视。     

Culture,Cognitive Pluralism and Rationality

This paper considers the prospects for objectivity in reasoning strategies in response to empirical studies that apparently show systematic culture‐based differences in patterns of reasoning. I argue that there is at least one modest class of exceptions to the claim that there are alternative, equally warranted standards of good reasoning: the class that entails the solution of certain well‐structured problems which, suitably chosen, are common, or touchstone, to the sorts of culturally different viewpoints discussed. There is evidence that some cognitive tasks are seen in much the same way across cultures, not least by virtue of the common run of experiences with the world of material objects in early childhood by creatures with similar cognitive endowments. These tasks thus present as similarly structured sets of claims that have similar priority: what is framed, and what is bracketed, or held constant in the background, is shown to be naturally common across cultures. As a consequence, a normative view of reasoning and, by implication, critical thinking can be defended. While this might be a modest sense of objectivity, the high level of intercultural articulation that is able to occur among people of different backgrounds suggests that it provides cognitive scaffolding for a lot of other reasoning tasks as well.

结构系统可靠性分析的一种新方法

提出了一个结构系统可靠性分析的载荷传递路线并联模型,讨论了结构系统可靠度的计算、载荷传递路线集的枚举主要载荷传递路线集的鉴别。所举的两个算例表明,结构系统可靠性分析的载荷传递路线模型是有效的。     

Transgender women in sport

This paper considers whether transgender (trans*) women should be permitted to compete in female categories in sports. Trans* women are often criticized for competing in female categories because they are seen as having an unfair advantage. Specifically, they are seen as having high levels of testosterone that unfairly enhance their performance in comparison to cisgender competitors. In this paper, I argue that trans* women should be permitted to compete in female categories. I suggest that if we want to maintain the skill thesis as a guiding principle of sports and allow trans* women to compete in female categories, then we need to take relevant genetic advantages into consideration by introducing a handicap system. I claim that a handicap system should consider both cisgender and transgender women’s effective testosterone levels.     

Inclusive Information for Trans* Persons

This article articulates the numerous barriers that limit library use by trans* persons and explains practical ways these barriers can be eliminated so that trans* patrons can get the information and insights they want and need. The article also includes worksheets that library professionals can use to address trans* patrons' information issues and provide inclusive information services.

New trans* visibilities: working the limits and possibilities of gender at school

Abstract

In many contexts, there has been a rapid increase in the visibility of trans* lives in the public sphere. Much educational research has focused on how to make life better for trans* children and young people in schools. This paper moves sideways from this concern to explore how public discourses around trans* lives and the individual labour of bodies are changing the shape of gender in schools and society. Ireland offers an insightful site for this inquiry because, following the Gender Recognition Act (2015) and the Marriage Equality Act (2015), trans* lives have become more visible in the public sphere and there has been a heightened concern for trans* children and young people in schools. This paper draws on an analysis of how trans* people are represented in the media as well as in a selection of accounts from the primary school community of a trans* child. Framed by debates about gender intelligibility, normativity and transgression, the paper elucidates how, as trans* visibility increases, the disciplinary terms of gender are reproduced with ambivalent effects. It argues against individualised and simplistic approaches to trans* identities in schools and raises questions about new gender possibilities in schooling contexts.     

应用Gaussian程序对顺反二氟乙烯稳定性的探究

在化学教学过程中,应用Gaussian计算程序,对顺反二氟乙烯的能量进行对比,发现两者相似。进一步探究发现,二氟乙烯的稳定性不仅受空间住阻、静电斥力大小影响,而且还与CH—CF^＊分子轨道间的电子离域有关。通过在教学中应用Gaussian程序,对化学问题进行相关深入计算,有利于培养学生严谨的学习精神与实事求是的探究学风。     

略论跨世纪高校图书馆员的素质培养

图书馆员是图书馆的灵魂和最活跃的因素。为了适应21世纪图书馆事业的发展,作为跨世纪的高校图书馆员应该具备较为全面的知识结构和较高的素质水平。这是传统图书馆向现代图书馆转变的关键。因而必须端正和提高认识,改革图书馆学教育,加强继续教育,强化激励机制,使图书馆员适应新时代的要求。
