Abstract

In this article, we use data from ethnography-inspired studies of eight Swedish schools. We describe and analyse how a number of neoliberal-inspired economic and political processes have (re)organised social and relational practices in local school settings. There is an increased focus on individuality in the everyday working lives of teachers, where result-centred practices, relations and professional identities have replaced notions of equality and compensatory interventions. In our study, the teachers describe an increasing focus on performativity, competition and hierarchisation. We use fairness as a lens for illuminating these changes in social relations, changes in the organisation of teachers’ practices, and teachers’ struggles with these changes. The purpose of this study is to analyse how the current reforms are enacted and how they affect the working lives of teachers, and thereby to contribute to the current discussion on how the last decades of political and administrative changes have affected educational practice.  相似文献

The paper aims to explore ways in which mothers of children with cerebral palsy (CP) attempt to voice their concerns about current discourses and power imbalances enshrined in special education policy and provision. Mothers’ narratives are important in making transparent the multiple forms of ‘disablism’ experienced by them in their attempts to negotiate and counteract on behalf of their children deficit-based and discriminatory discourses and professional practices that violate their children’s rights, notwithstanding international and national legal mandates promoting a rights-based approach to disability. Their narrated subjugated agency in disability politics highlights the imperative to introduce new forms of advocacy through parent leadership in order to enable parents to have a more active and strategic role in challenging disabling discourses and practices that undermine their children’s rights and entitlements.  相似文献

In this article, we explore the topic of resilience. We consider some of the ways that resilience relates to managing stress levels, with the intention of developing a capacity to “keep going.” However, we find that this model does not match our clinical experience and propose instead that resilience is about the ability to think perpendicularly. We define this as the developmental capacity to take perspective and alter one’s coordinates to think and feel about things in new lights. We locate this achievement in a developmental model originating with Object Relations, and relate it to achieving the “depressive position,” which recognizes the substantial gray areas in life. Finally, we use Plato’s allegory of the Cave to underscore our thinking.  相似文献

就EI叙词表与我国47部叙词表的微观结构进行对比,提出从概念深度、概念分化度、概念聚合度、概念横向关联度四个方面来描述和评价词表纵深结构和横向关联结构的方法。通过分析,发现EI叙词表概念体系纵深大、分化度高、聚合度高、横向关联点多、入口率高,在结构上更合理。据此对比分析结果,指出我国叙词表在微观结构上存在的问题以及在新的技术环境下编制叙词表的建议。  相似文献

Electronic library services and myriad online resources are shifting the roles and workloads of academic reference librarians. Reallocation of staffing through a differentiated reference desk service model provides time to author curriculum-centered online research guides and tutorials, bibliographies, and webliographies. The expanding electronic information environment also opens new opportunities for teaching partnerships with university faculty. SUMMARY

Interacting socially with colleagues creates close workplace relationships. These relationships translate into a dynamic, synergistic environment at the reference desk, also known as tag-team reference. When two people work well together, they can bounce ideas off of one another and serve the users most efficiently. Reference librarians all have strengths and weaknesses and those who work closely together can rely on each other without worrying about the stigma of reference desk boundaries. While traditional training and advice literature do not stress the importance of workplace relationships, there are ways that librarians and libraries can successfully promote social interaction and nurture a collaborative, collegial environment.  相似文献

[目的/意义] 揭示微信平台中大学生社会关系强度研究的现状,探究社会关系强度对不同知识共享行为的影响,推动微信平台的服务定位和质量提升。[方法/过程] 选取腾讯微信平台,采用互动频度、持续时间、情感强度、互惠程度、亲密性/亲近度5个因素,测量大学生之间的社会关系强度,将其自动聚类为强关系与弱关系两类,进一步探讨其对浏览、发帖、回帖等知识共享行为的影响。同时分析微信平台中大学生不同关系类型下知识共享行为的不同特征。[结果/结论] 实证调研结果表明:社会关系强度与浏览行为不相关,与发帖行为、回帖行为均显著正相关,强关系具有较多的发帖与回帖行为;大学生微信知识共享行为中存在独特的社会关系差序格局。  相似文献
