社会性网络服务的特点及其对企业竞争情报工作的影响

当前,互联网已成为企业竞争情报工作的重要阵地,人际网络在整个情报循环中的作用已受到相当程度的重视。本文从当前网络热点社会性网络服务(SNS)入手,分析了基于SNS构建的人际网络特点,对由此引发的企业竞争情报工作的变革进行了探讨,重点分析了社会性网络服务对企业竞争情报收集内容及方式的影响。     

Implementation and Application of CORAL: An Open Source ERM System

With the rapid increase of electronic databases, e-journals, electronic books, and digital collections in libraries, managing electronic resources is also becoming complex and challenging. It is an absolute necessity to have an effective electronic resources management (ERM). This article discusses our experience in choosing and implementing an open source ERM System (CORAL) at The College of New Jersey Library.     

Teaching profession career ladder programme in Turkey: implementation,outcomes and challenges

Turkey has implemented various programmes to increase the quality of in-service training for K–12 teachers with varying success. One of the most recent state-wide implementations of these programmes is the Teaching Profession Career Ladder Programme (TPCLP) that was put into practice in 2005. This study investigates teachers’ views related to the implementation of the TPCLP. A detailed account of the application process and teachers’ views towards the implementation will generate suggestions to raise the effectiveness of the implementation. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews. Analysis of data revealed that teachers hold direct intensive criticism towards many criteria of the TPCLP, particularly the examination. Furthermore, they have mixed perspectives as to whether the programme is effective. This study shows that career ladder implementation failed to contribute to continuous professional development of teachers and the quality of the education process in K–12 schools.

Abstract

Both authors have served as OCLC’s representative to the Program for Cooperative Cataloging’s Policy Committee and Steering Committee and participated in the PCC’s creation. They offer some reminiscences of the early years of the PCC and of OCLC’s involvement in, and support of, the PCC.     

线性SISO TS模糊系统万能逼近的一种新的充分条件

借助于最优逼近理论, 证明了线性SISO TS模糊系统可以逼近任意一个多项式, 然后以Weierstrass逼近定理为桥梁, 证明了该模糊系统可以以任意精度逼近一个任意的连续函数, 从而得到了该模糊系统万能逼近性的一个新的充分条件. 并在证明过程中, 得到了要达到所要求的逼近精度所需的输入模糊集的下确界. 然后从理论上将所得的结果与现有文献中的结果进行了比较, 证明了该结果所需的输入模糊集的数目要少得多, 从而可以简化模糊系统的设计. 最后举例证明了该结论的有效性.     

VDR,RXR, Coronin-1 and Interferonγ Levels in PBMCs of Type-2 Diabetes Patients: Molecular Link between Diabetes and Tuberculosis

Diabetes and tuberculosis are world’s most deadly epidemics. People suffering from diabetes are susceptible to tuberculosis. Molecular link between the two is largely unknown. It is known that Vitamin A receptor (RXR) heterodimerizes with Vitamin D receptor (VDR) and Peroxisome proliferator-activator receptor-γ (PPARγ) to regulate Tryptophan-aspartate containing coat protein (TACO) expression and fatty acid metabolism respectively, so it would be interesting to check the expression of these genes in diabetes mellitus (DM) patients which might explain the susceptibility of diabetics to tuberculosis. In this study, we checked the expression of RXR, VDR, TACO and Interferon-γ (IFNγ) genes in type-2 DM patients for understanding the link between the two diseases. We observed down regulation of RXR gene and corresponding up regulation of TACO gene expression. We have not observed significant change in expression of VDR and IFNγ genes in type-2 DM patients. Repression of RXR gene could hamper VDR-RXR heterodimer formation and thus would up regulate TACO gene expression which may predispose the type-2 DM patients to tuberculosis. Also, decrease in RXR-PPARγ heterodimer could be involved in DM.

项目管理是社会科学总论中管理学的分支学科。项目管理知识体系和项目管理案例覆盖《中图法》的多个类目。依据"以文献内容的学科或专业属性为主要标准"的归类原则,项目管理在《中图法》(第五版)中的归类不够妥当。因此,建议修改《中图法》(第五版),将项目管理类文献归入《中图法》中C931.2类目下。     

科学技术可视化

随着科学技术的不断发展,新兴技术大量涌现,技术的发展呈现出学科内纵向深入,学科间交叉融合的新特点与新趋势。因此,如何及时把握新兴技术的动态,寻找发展路径,已成为当前科学研究的热点问题之一,基于科学学理论和传统技术评估与预测研究,总结提出了“科学技术可视化”概念,从“科学技术可视化”研究的必要性出发,综合评述了当前国内外“科学技术可视化”的发展状况,并构建了一套适用于“科学技术可视化”图谱的分类体系与辅助决策框架,为科技决策中“科学技术可视化”方法的应用提供了依据。同时,还总结了当前“科学技术可视化”研究中具有代表意义的经典图谱,并总结出了一套“图法”与“图空间”概念,为如何绘制“科学技术可视化”图谱提供了参考。
