高职学生顶岗实习期心理危机状况分析与管理

顶岗实习是高等职业教育中不可或缺的一种重要实践形式,是学生形成职业能力的关键教学环节。学生在顶岗实习期由于角色的转换产生一系列心理问题,必然会影响顶岗实习的实效性。从学校、学生、企业三方面着手分析存在的问题,并提出相应的管理意见和建议,这有利于学生顺利完成顶岗实习的任务,也符合学校和企业自身发展的长远规划。     

论罗斯福的《农业调整法》及农业政策

在20世纪30年代的大危机中,美国农业也受到其严重影响。罗斯福为解决农业危机颁布了一项重要的法案,即《农业调整法》。这项法案也体现了罗斯福在农业上的一些政策。2008年以次贷危机为导火索引发的金融危机使人们又重新回归研究罗斯福"新政"时期的各种政策,其在农业方面的政策更可为我国这样的"农业大国"提供借鉴和启示。     

近年我国公共危机管理研究钩沉

随着国内外公共危机事件的频繁发生,公共危机管理成为我国学界的研究热点,并取得了相当的研究成果。概括分析了此领域内的研究现状,包括公共危机管理的内涵、类型及其特性界定,公共危机发生的诱因分析,我国构建政府公共危机管理的路径选择等。     

浅议突发性群体事件中的法律危机应对与治理

近年我国发生的突发性群体事件中存在阶段性、理性与非理性交织、法律风险与法律危机的并存与转化等特点;本文从法律危机的角度,把突发性群体事件中法律危机分为三类:法律心理危机、法律信仰危机、法律执法者的法律执法危机;提出应对与处理突发性群体事件中法律危机主要对策和措施,包括大力加强实效性的全民法治宣传与教育、完善群体行为和政府人员两个层面法治行为规范、建立和完善行政强制行为的制约机制、大力建设和发展法治社会大环境。     

'Greyish Rectangles': Creating the television heritage

In the early months of 1947, as it sought to save power during an acute fuel crisis, Clement Attlee's Labour government suspended the publication of all British periodicals for a period of two weeks. This would have been a bold step for any government, let alone one which had as uncomfortable a relationship with the press as Attlee's did, and, at the time, the press was not slow to suggest that the suspension was motivated as much by political factors as it was by a desire to conserve fuel. This article examines the implementation and nature of the suspension, exploring the tensions it generated and asking whether the government's actions can be described—as they were by some contemporary observers—as a deliberate act of suppression.     

“The internet is not pleased”: twitter and the 2017 Equifax data breach

ABSTRACT

The 2017 Equifax data breach left 144.5 million users digitally vulnerable to identity theft and future hacks. The organization’s failure to provide ongoing communication and information regarding the attack, motivated users to form crisis communities within the Twitter platform. This study examines the discourses present within the platform as users discussed the data breach. Digital crisis communities provide researchers opportunities to study how public users respond and react to a digital threat, particularly one that impacts online security and privacy. Through a qualitative analysis of tweets from the 3 weeks after the breach was announced, three discourses emerged that represented user frustrations and reactions to the security violation. These include breaking news, anger and outrage, and blame attribution. The findings of this study are relevant for those studying crisis communication, the Twitter platform, and online communities.     

Libraries and Financial Literacy: Perspectives From Emerging Markets

The article uses conceptual correlations between information literacy and financial literacy as a basis for arguing that financial literacy services have a place in library settings. The article discusses the general requirements, profile of services, and various challenges related to the introduction of financial literacy programmes in public libraries. An intensified interest in financial literacy matters may be assigned to the global financial crisis of 2007 to 2009. The interdependencies between financial crisis, financial literacy, and the potential of public libraries is illustrated by the example of one South-Eastern European country whose economic transformations and developments reflect the importance of financial literacy.     

A PUBLIC JOURNALISM RESPONSE TO ORGANIZATIONAL ETHICS VIOLATIONS

In summer 2001, residents of a small Midwestern town in the United States were confronted with an incomprehensible trauma, thrusting them into a national public health crisis involving toxic mold contamination. The conflict centered on an infected high school campus, fearful and angry community members, and an intractable school board. Assertive coverage by the local press not only provided substantial investigative reporting, but gave focus and voice to an oppressed public. Written from personal experience, this research narrative critiques the ethics of public servants and identifies three significant windows of illumination when local press coverage made alternative viewpoints known, built understanding and stimulated deliberation, helping to lead the community through this period of crisis. As a consequence of this practice of public journalism, the local press demonstrated its vital role in cultivating good citizenship when public stewardship fails.     

CRISIS JOURNALISM AT A CROSSROADS?

The ongoing changes in journalism in Finland have forced the profession to consider its position and practices. This need for reflection was particularly clear after the recent school shooting cases in Jokela in 2007 and in Kauhajoki in 2008 that gave rise to a public debate about journalists’ actions. Using qualitative content analysis and the idea of reflective practice as its methods, this study investigates how 45 Finnish journalists reflected on their and their profession's work after the two cases. The study focuses on journalists’ views of reporting on the shooters and victims, and reveals a shift in journalists’ thinking from a strong deontological ethos towards a more teleological stance. It also highlights the need for further research to determine whether the change observed is a permanent one.
