Boundary control of a linear distributed parameter bioprocess

This paper is concerned with boundary control of a linear distributed parameter bioprocess. Huang's result (Ann. Differential Equations 1(1) (1985) 43) on the spectrum determined growth assumption is applied to prove that the closed-loop system becomes exponentially stable under a certain condition with respect to the feedback gain. Moreover, it is shown that the decay rate of the open-loop system is given by letting the feedback gain tend to zero.     

A school curriculum for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: advice from a young adult with FASD

While a significant number of individuals in Canada and globally are affected by prenatal fetal alcohol exposure, scant research exists that focuses specifically on the subjective experiences of this population. Based on a single case study exploring through Photovoice methodology the life experiences of a young adult with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), this research paper utilises Schwab’s curriculum commonplaces as a framework to present results pertinent to the field of Education. Four themes emerged that illuminate the participants’ resilience and self-awareness of issues related to independence versus support, strengths and challenges, attitude and adaptation strategies, and advice for others. Curriculum suggestions based on the findings are offered for educators working with young people with FASD in general education settings. Further implications for Education and suggestions for additional research are included.

光子计数成像采集系统是生物超微弱发光的光子计数研究的基本工具，通过自行设计的多通道光谱系统，扩展了现行的PIAS的测量功能，使之能对超微弱发光进行光谱测量，这在国内外均不多见．本对PIAS的工作原理和自行设计的多通道光谱系统都进行了说明，并给出了超微弱发光光子计数和光谱的测量结果．     

Chinese children with ASD in Hong Kong (SAR): development of inclusive practice

The advancement of inclusive educational provision in the Asia‐Pacific region has been guided by international research. As one example, Hong Kong has developed a unique and cultural response to inclusive practice within the region. This paper reviews Hong Kong's development of inclusive education practice for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It provides an account of how services in education have developed for Chinese children with ASD, from diagnosis to school placement, and how the students are supported. A number of challenges for the region are discussed including those related to pedagogy, mentoring, placement, support and the need for culturally appropriate professional learning.     

Testing Literacy Educational Software to Develop Design Guidelines for Children with Autism

Multimedia computer programmes have been found to facilitate learning in children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). However, the effectiveness of these resources is limited due to poor design or a lack of consideration of the ASD cognitive profile, particularly at the lower functioning end of the spectrum. This article attempts to tackle the problem of the lack of design guidelines, with the aim of facilitating the development of effective educational programmes for children with severe ASD. The case study reported here evaluated two literacy educational computer programmes, by observing five low-functioning children with ASD, compared to five neurotypical children (control cases). The two types of reading-support software contrasted in the study presented different characteristics. The children’s data analysed here concern observations of child–software interactive sessions based on video recordings and coded for attention deployment to each programme, including motivation and engagement indicators.     

Inclusive education and best practice for children with autism spectrum disorder: an integrated approach

Many parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have reported general discontent with the services offered by the education system and have advocated for increased ASD‐specific services to better meet their children’s educational needs. The elements of best practice offer an ideal model for educational support. There are, however, limitations to advocating ASD‐specific services. This paper describes how best practice for ASD as an educational model fits within what is described as authentic inclusion. Further, it is suggested that the ASD community align with the greater inclusive education reform movement. With the use of this unified model of education, all children will receive the educational support they require.

当代美国作家杰克.凯鲁亚克的小说《在路上》被誉为是"垮掉的一代"的宣言书和《圣经》,它是美国文学中诠释西行主题的经典之作。小说以主人公萨尔对东部厌倦———对西部的幻想———西部梦想的幻灭为线索,体现了"垮掉的一代"时代背景下所贯穿于作品当中的西部情结的主题。这一主题的凸显过程也暗含了美国文学中对东部和中西部所持的对立的传统看法,即东部是欧洲堕落的化身,而中西部是原始道德的发源地,这种西部情结背后深藏的是"垮掉的一代"对现实的不满、对社会的抗议和对自由精神的追求。     

递增负荷运动对心电频谱分析的影响

为了了解递增负荷运动对心电频谱分析的影响,我们采用标准12导联引导心电信号,测试了30名大学生在递增负荷运动中的心电频谱图,所测得结果提示如下:频率成分能量比W1〔W1=E(100-1000Hz)/E(0-1000Hz)〕,W2〔W2=E(80-300Hz)/E(0-1000Hz)〕,在一、二级负荷运动后增大(P＜0.05),三级负荷后恢复到安静水平。     

综合英语课程一体化教与学设计的实践

根据建构主义学习理论和电大综合英语课程的特点,中央电大综合英语课程团队特别编制了一体化教与学设计。本文主要谈及了基于建构主义教学理论下,该课程一体化教与学设计在教学中的实践及其对教学的启示。     

自闭症谱系障碍儿童专业助手干预技能培训的研究进展

专业助手是自闭症谱系障碍儿童接受教育的重要支持人员,对其学业能力的发展以及社会交往技能的提升具有重要意义。本研究梳理了近二十年国外培训专业助手对自闭症谱系障碍儿童实施干预的实证研究,从专业助手的特征,ASD儿童的特征,专业助手对ASD儿童实施干预的目标行为,实验设计,培训内容与程序,培训及干预效果等维度进行分析,在此基础上指出已有研究存在的局限和未来研究方向,以期为日后自闭症谱系障碍儿童专业助手培训的研究提供参考和建议。
