区域性本科院校应用数学专业人才培养目标与实现

区域性本科院校应根据本地区的经济特点、自身的特色与教学资源确定应用型人才培养目标。并通过构建合理的课程体系、教学中应用数学建模教学法、构建以应用数学为核心的实践体系、改革毕业论文（设计）教学等手段来实现人才培养目标。     

普通高校跳远优化教学方案设计

本文以普通高校跳远技术作为研究对象，在优化理论的指导下，运用模糊数学原理对该技术教学过程中所采用的手段进行了定量分析和研究，并由此可以制订出蹲踞式跳远优化教学方案。     

Activity Analysis and Curriculum Construction

ABSTRACT

The authors explored whether a testing effect occurs not only for retention of facts but also for application of principles and procedures. For that purpose, 38 high school students either repeatedly studied a text on probability calculations or studied the text, took a test on the content, restudied the text, and finally took the test a second time. Results show that testing not only leads to better retention of facts than restudying, but also to better application of acquired knowledge (i.e., principles and procedures) in high school statistics. In other words, testing seems not only to benefit fact retention, but also positively affects deeper learning.     

Becoming a lecturer in further education in England: the construction of professional identity and the role of communities of practice

Further education colleges in England offer a wide range of post‐school education and training provision. Recently they have undergone major transformations that have resulted in considerable changes to the work of those teaching in them. In this paper we examine how cultures of learning and teaching in colleges are affected and how the nature of professional identity has changed. The paper considers the formation of professional identity amongst a group of trainee lecturers completing a one‐year full‐time teacher‐training course at a university in the English Midlands. Lave and Wenger's work on apprenticeship to communities of practice is used to examine the effect of trainees' teaching placement on the development of professional identity. Rather than identifying effective processes of increasing participation in existing communities of practice, a strong sense of marginalisation and alienation amongst trainees was observed. The paper argues that this is detrimental both to trainees and experienced lecturers if they are to actively engage in building new forms of professionalism for the future.     

基于WEB的高职数学立体化教学资源平台的建设

数学教学方式因受到传统教学模式的约束和传统教学思想的局限,在高职数学教学方面表现为教学方式片面化,教学资源单一化,教学行为仅限于课堂上的理论教学.尝试建立一种基WEB技术的立体化教学资源平台,利用该平台在教学过程中的应用推广,实现高职数学教学模式的变革,达到改进教学方法和提高教学效果的目的.

Not yet where we want to be： South Africa＇s participation in SITES 2006

The International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement （IEA） initiated the Second International Technology in Education Study （SITES）--A longitudinal large-scale international comparative survey on the use of information and communication technologies （ICTs） in schools. The goal is to understand how ICTs effect teaching and learning in schools. SITES 2006 was the third module in this program to determine how teachers use ICTs, and to find out how school and education system factors influence teachers＇ pedagogical orientation. SITES 2006 administered three questionnaires： one for school principals, one for technology coordinators, and one for mathematics and science teachers, around 400 schools in each of 23 education systems. The main study took place during 2005-2007. This paper describes the South African educational context, provides an overview of the South African participation, speculates on South Africa＇s future participation, and provides a comparative glimpse of the use of ICTs in South African mathematics and science classrooms.
