DNA甲基化异常与肿瘤发生的研究

DNA甲基化是真核生物DNA的正常内源性修饰方式 ,它由DNA甲基化转移酶催化发生。但DNA甲基化异常在肿瘤发生中却起着极为重要的作用 ,它主要表现为抑癌基因高甲基化所致的基因失活和原癌基因低甲基化所致的基因激活 ,引起与细胞增殖、分化相关基因表达异常 ,造成细胞恶变形成肿瘤。文章总结了DNA甲基化异常对肿瘤相关基因表达的影响 ,在肿瘤发生中的可能机制及针对高甲基化的治疗方案     

One-to-One Computing and Student Achievement in Ohio High Schools

This study explores the impact of one-to-one computing on student achievement in Ohio high schools as measured by performance on the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT). The sample included 24 treatment schools that were individually paired with a similar control school. An interrupted time series methodology was deployed to examine OGT data over a period of 5 to 8 years. Overall student performance and content-specific achievement in math, reading, science, social studies, and writing were not significantly affected by the introduction of 1:1 computing. Treatment schools using a netbook device produced the greatest overall change in scores.

Predicting smartphone brand loyalty: Consumer value and consumer-brand identification perspectives

With the growth and competition of the smartphone industry, developing a better understanding of what drives consumers' loyalty to smartphone brands has become an important issue for academics and practitioners. This study hypothesizes four determinants of smartphone brand loyalty based on the perspectives of consumer value and consumer-brand identification. Furthermore, this study also explores the moderating effects of age and gender differences on the determination process of smartphone brand loyalty. Data collected from 157 respondents was tested against the research model using a partial least squares (PLS) approach. The results indicate that functional value, emotional value, social value, and brand identification have a positive influence on smartphone brand loyalty. Of the two moderators, results show that age enhances the emotional value-brand loyalty and social value-brand loyalty linkages but weakens the brand identification-brand loyalty relationship. However, gender does not play a moderating role in the determination of smartphone brand loyalty. The results of this study provide several important theoretical and practical implications for smartphone brand management.     

Scaling behavior of nucleotide cluster in DNA sequences

In this paper we study the scaling behavior of nucleotide cluster in 11 chromosomes of Encephalitozoon cuniculi Genome. The statistical distribution of nucleotide clusters for 11 chromosomes is characterized by the scaling behavior of P（S） ∝ e^-αs＇ where S represents nucleotide cluster size. The cluster-size distribution P（S1＋S2） with the total size of sequential C-G cluster and A-T cluster S1＋S2 were also studied. P（S1＋S2） follows exponential decay. There does not exist the case of large C-G cluster following large A-T cluster or large A-T cluster following large C-G cluster. We also discuss the relatively random walk length function L（n） and the local compositional complexity of nucleotide sequences based on a new model. These investigations may provide some insight into nucleotide cluster of DNA sequence.     

基于云计算的数据中心虚拟机管理平台的设计

随着数字化校园和绿色校园的深入开展,校园网各项业务逐渐自动化和集成化。大连理工大学基于VMware虚拟化技术构建了安全高效的数据中心,并对校内各部门提供虚拟机服务。然而在虚拟机申请和管理维护过程中涉及大量人工操作,这构成了数据中心管理瓶颈。基于云计算思想设计了虚拟机管理平台,并以Web服务虚拟机申请为例介绍了该平台的功能。该管理平台对提高虚拟机管理效率有重要意义。     

“观察DNA和RNA在细胞中的分布”实验的改进研究

本文对＂观察DNA和RNA在细胞中的分布＂实验提出了改进方法：人的口腔上皮细胞可直接染色观察,若要烘干必须用低温,不需用HC l进行水解;洋葱鳞片叶内表皮细胞应先用质量分数为4%的HC l溶液水解,然后用质量分数为1%的NaHCO3溶液清洗。通过改进,染色现象明显。     

浅析云计算在高校实验室中的应用

简要介绍了云计算的概念及其具有的虚拟性、适用性、规模性、可靠性、经济性的特点;分析了云计算目前发展的情况及其三种服务类型的应用;具体阐述了基础设施云服务、应用云服务两种模式在高校实验室中的应用,以及云计算在高校实验室中起到节约资金投入,提高教学质量,提高数据安全性、提高教学公平性的重要作用和意义.     

从谷歌和微软对比看“云计算”的发展应用

谷歌公司将＂云计算＂作为一项新技术应用至极,其应用覆盖桌面电脑的方方面面,在谷歌看来,一切运送基于服务器,基于云计算体系;而微软公司则采用了＂云—端计算＂的概念：即＂云＂和终端都将承担一部分计算和应用。相对谷歌公司,微软公司强调关于＂端＂的应用以及＂云＂与＂端＂之间的有机结合。     

云计算与网络教育资源管理的整合研究

云计算是通过网络把多个成本相对较低的计算实体整合成一个具有强大计算能力的系统,如果把网络上存在的众多个教育资源库按照云计算思想组织管理起来,势必能够提高资源的利用率、共享率,同时也降低了客户端的压力．
