Environmental conditions for the safeguarding of collections: A background to the current debate on the control of relative humidity and temperature

Conditions of relative humidity (RH) and temperature within museums and buildings holding collections of cultural heritage objects are often maintained around a strictly controlled set point of about 50 ± 5% RH and 20 or 21 ± 2°C to provide safe, stable conditions for hygroscopic artifacts. It has recently been proposed that these ranges should be relaxed to values that are less energy-intensive to maintain while still being safe for the objects in the collection, with the aim of reducing both carbon footprint and energy use. It is also suggested that conditions should be determined by the needs of individual objects and by the local climate of the region, rather than applying overall values across the museum as a whole. This proposal has led to much discussion within the conservation community. The suggested values, a stable humidity within the range 40–60% RH and a stable temperature within the range 16–25°C for most objects, apart from the most vulnerable, are derived from the results of experimental research on the responses of individual materials to particular conditions of RH and temperature, as well as observations of the behaviour of cultural heritage objects in their own environments and on loan. This paper describes briefly the historical and scientific background to the present discussion.     

基于Qtouch技术的触摸控制旋转LED系统设计

本文利用STM32F103RBT6数字信号处理器和无线收发芯片CC1101以及ATMEGA88V单片机设计主要的硬件电路,实现触摸控制信号的接收处理、发送以及LED屏显示功能。加入LED驱动芯片TLC5947,实现对全彩LED的灰度控制,使原来单一的颜色显示变成全彩显示,效果更加绚烂夺目。

应届毕业生与在职人士职业决策比较研究

利用信息板技术,采用2×2×8的混合实验设计,对应届毕业生和在职人士的职业决策进行比较研究。通过方差分析、T检验研究职业选项、职业属性对职业决策的影响。结果表明：职业选项、职业属性对点击次数和查看时间的影响显著,同时职业选项数影响了决策的搜索深度;应届毕业生和在职人士在属性的点击次数和查看时间上存在差异;在决策的搜索模式上,应届毕业生和在职人士在四种职业选项任务中的搜索模式存在显著差异。     

显示终端对夜航视觉影响综合评价

为引起航海设备制造商对显示终端影响驾驶员视觉问题的重视并推动技术革新,合理布局显示终端,采用改进德尔菲法向航海领域专家进行咨询,基于调研数据对所有显示终端影响驾驶员视觉的因素进行权重排序,确定影响程度大小。为降低显示终端对夜航视觉的影响并在今后有针对性地处理所出现的问题,提出灰色综合评价的方法体系并进行实船验证。研究表明:影响视觉的因素中眩光所占权重最大,其次是舷窗反射;影响光源主要是设备显示终端;利用灰色综合评价可以对显示终端的影响进行有效、客观的评价。     

基于动态技术的网络考试系统的设计与实现

本文介绍了考试系统的主要功能模块,并着重介绍在利用动态创建技术的思路对考试系统实施过程中需要考虑解决的几个关键问题,主要实现了一般网络考试系统中试卷中的图片仿真显示、试卷动态显示等。

通过资料分析法、文献综述法、逻辑归纳法,回顾奥运体育展示的发展历程,对南京青奥会体育展示工作进行个案研究,简述了奥运传播过程中的体育展示功能,提出体育展示是体育文化创意性传播和赛事包装艺术化传播;研究了体育展示组织内和组织外的传播模式,着重分析了体育展示的受众、传播内容、传播媒介、传播效果等元素的特点;展望了运动项目与主办国(地区)文化的高度融合、体育展示内容视觉化呈现、新媒体技术强化观众互动的体育展示发展趋势.     

无线射频可视对讲系统的软件设计

本文采用无线射频通信技术、MEMS技术以及智能控制技术设计了一套用于无线射频可视对讲系统的软件。整套软件包括呼叫控制程序模块、语音存储程序模块、信息显示程序模块、射频收发程序模块和附加功能程序模块。文中对五个程序模块进行了详细的分析,并给出了设计流程图。

Face it: The Impact of Gender on Social Media Images

Social websites like Facebook enable users to upload self-created digital images; it is therefore of interest to see how gender is performed in this domain. A panel used a literature review of pictorial features associated with gender traits, and a sample of Facebook pictures to assess gender stereotypes present in Facebook images. Traits emerging in greater prominence in pictures of males included active, dominant, and independent. Those prominent with female users included attractive and dependent. These findings generally conform to gender stereotypes found in prior research and extend the research regarding stereotypical gender traits displayed in professional media depictions to self-selected social media displays. They also extend the research on gender differences in impression management generally, in both interpersonal communication and social media, to include gender-specific traits that are part of young mens and women's impression management.
