“语言学及应用语言学学科知识门户站点”建设构想与技术实现*

学科门户站点作为一种延伸拓展学习与服务空间的形式，越来越受到用户和业界人士的关注。徐州师范大学图书馆面向重点学科，建立了“语言学与应用语言学”门户站点。本文从建设思路、内容框架结构、技术实现等方面做了剖析。     

Disciplined freedom,branded authenticity,and dependable independence: how tensions enact flexibility in lifestyle blogging careers

Analyzing 219 blog posts from 52 self-employed women lifestyle bloggers in North America, this study shows how these digital professionals navigate tensions and communicatively constitute work flexibility. In their narratives, women bloggers employed tension management approaches such as reframing, continual connections, and reflective practice in response to tensions in enacting temporal–spatial, identity, and financial flexibility. Specifically, women followed oxymoronic constructions – disciplined freedom, branded authenticity, and dependable independence – to embrace and transform competing poles of fluidity?structure, authenticity?marketability, and independence?interconnection. Expanding work–life research to the self-employed digital labor context, this study responds to recent calls to uncover more-than tension management strategies in empirical settings and contributes to a tension-centered, contextual, and processual analysis of workplace flexibility construction.     

论当代大学生民族观教育

当前国际局势复杂多变,国内发展矛盾显现,人们的思想认识和价值趋向多元化,大学生对中华民族精神和传统文化精神淡化,而对西方的诸如节日文化、自由精神的追逐与趋同化日渐突出。为此,围绕高校大学生这一特殊群体展开马克思主义民族观的教育与引导,其问题的必要性、紧迫性和重要性不容忽视。     

回顾与前瞻:用社会主义核心价值体系引领社会思潮的有效途径

自党的十七大提出积极探索用社会主义核心价值体系引领社会思潮的有效途径以来,学术界对此给予了极大的关注,并围绕着提出的必要性、有效途径和制度保障三个部分进行了广泛的研究,取得了丰硕的成果。但还存在着如:基础研究薄弱、宣传解读性成果较多;不同理论观点缺乏碰撞与争鸣等,这些问题还有待于进一步深化和拓展。     

A quantitative and model-driven approach to assessing higher education in the United States of America

University ranking or higher education assessment in general has been attracting more and more public attention over the years. However, the subjectivity-based evaluation index and indicator selections and weights that are widely adopted in most existing ranking systems have been called into question. In other words, the objectivity and impartiality of those rankings has been worrisome. To address these concerns, this paper presents a quantitative and model-driven approach to acquiring the evaluation index and indicator weights in the US News & World Report ranking system. Structural equation modelling will be applied to mine non-subjective weights from collected data. The proposed approach will be validated using two groups of United States universities, National Universities and Liberal Arts Colleges, classified by the US News & World Report. Managerial and administrative implications will also be explored. This study shows a very promising future because it opens a new venue for the scholars and practitioners in the higher education assessment field to develop a real-time, scalable and model-driven higher education ranking system.     

动词make的一词多义关系模式初探

一词多义是各种语言中普遍存在的现象。英语中除了术语以外,单义词是很少的,多数的词都是多义词。本文从认知语义学的视角,运用认知语言学的＂原型范畴理论＂以及＂基于理论的多义词分析法＂对动词make进行认知研究,探索构建make一词多义的意义关系模式。     

初中英语过程写作法教学模式探究

在单元教学中,指导学生围绕词块、句群以及篇章结构,运用所学知识,就同一主题不同角度进行写作练习,掌握写作策略和技能,充分发挥评价的激励作用,提高学生写作水平。

文章分析了高职院校精准扶贫的重大意义,并结合所在学院实际,提出了高等职业院校精准扶贫的途径,要发挥高职院校重要作用,实现精神脱贫,深化院校招生制度改革,实现精准招生,完善贫困学生资助体系,实现精准资助,推进人才培养模式改革,实现精准培养,优化贫困学生就业帮扶,实现精准就业,紧贴需求进行结对帮扶,实现精准服务。     

Cindy Sherman: A Play of Selves. A collaborative approach to conservation

In 2013, The Better Image (TBI) was contacted to examine A Play of Selves, a unique work created by artist Cindy Sherman during her graduate studies in 1975. The work is composed of 244 paper doll-like photographs of Sherman that are presented within 72 frames. During initial condition checks, it was noted that a number of individual elements had begun to show signs of chemical staining. Over the course of 2013/2014, a collaborative response was developed with the help of the artist, the artist's printer, the representing gallery, TBI staff and the owner. The main goal was to address the physical and chemical issues present and preserve this work for future exhibition and study. Determining an effective decision- making model based on a hierarchy of values was crucial before undertaking any conservation treatment, as there were several invested parties, each with a different perspective. The focus of this paper is the interplay of our responsibilities as conservators with the concerns of the artist, her gallery, her printer, and the owner to balance aesthetic vs. physical integrity of the artwork, reversibility of treatments, importance of record keeping while developing a balanced response within a world of rapidly disappearing traditional photographic papers.
