以浙江传媒学院为例,分析了目前传媒类高校钢琴演奏专业在教学模式上存在的问题,提出教学方法要多元化,要有灵活性,课程设置要特色化等几点改革建议。

随着科学技术的飞速发展,新兴媒体作为一种传播工具,正以其快捷性、多样性、丰富性、开放性、互动性、虚拟性等优势在信息传播领域独占鳌头。通过在厘清新兴媒体内涵的基础上,寻求贵州师范学院利用新兴媒体进行思想政治教育的有效方式,探求思想政治工作者应具备的媒体素养,以期对拓展高校思想政治教育工作的途径和精神有借鉴作用。     

Mothers’ gendered aspirations for their children: a case study of Forbesganj,Bihar

Current literature on parent aspirations has not empirically explored the factors that may lead to differences in aspirations among similar types of parents. Additionally, little is known about the gendered nature of these differences. In this study, we seek to understand factors shaping mothers’ aspirations in regards to education, marriage, and careers of their daughters and sons, and to explore why differences may be found for mothers from similar socioeconomic backgrounds. Using a case study approach, we conduct in-depth interviews with 28 mothers in the Indian town of Forbesganj, Bihar. We use a conceptual framework based on the capabilities approach, and draw on theories of social learning, or learning from one’s peers, through which to understand differences in aspirations. Findings suggest that mothers desire lives for their children that are different from their own, and that conceptions of such lives are influenced by exposure to role models in their communities.

Twitter as a tool for citizen engagement: An empirical study of the Andalusian municipalities

This paper provides a general overview of the way local governments use Twitter as a communication tool to engage with their citizens. More concretely, it tries to identify factors associated with both the channel activity and citizen engagement, to understand the relationship between media type and citizen engagement and to analyse whether different content generated different levels of engagement. A sample of the 29 most populated Andalusian local governments is examined. The results show that the majority of Andalusian local governments have an official corporate Twitter account with certain level of activity. There is no, however, a significant relationship between the population of a municipality and its citizen's engagement, and there is a significant negative relationship between audience and engagement and between activity and engagement. The findings of the study also show the particular media and content types generate higher engagement than others. This paper contributes to the literature on social media and has practical implications for local governments.     

Informing Website Navigation Design with Team-Based Card Sorting

In 2016, Utah State University (USU) Libraries redesigned the library website’s main menu and underlying information architecture (IA) in response to a number of known usability problems and limitations. Card sorting studies were conducted with a group of USU undergraduate students and a mixed group of faculty and graduate students to help develop a better understanding of users’ mental models of library-related research and service tasks. Participants worked in teams to sort, rank and label cards pertaining to the content and feature of the library’s website. Afterwards, participants discussed and performed usability tasks on each other’s categories. Results were used to inform the design of a new IA and menu structure, while best practices from usability studies and trends in academic library website design were used to help with menu and link labeling. The final design was validated through follow-up discussions with staff, usability tests, and category/reverse category tests.     

An analysis of the educational value of low-fidelity anatomy models as external representations

Although high-fidelity digital models of human anatomy based on actual cross-sectional images of the human body have been developed, reports on the use of physical models in anatomy teaching continue to appear. This article aims to examine the common features shared by these physical models and analyze their educational value based on the literature on cognition, learning, and external representations. A literature search on these physical models in three popular anatomy journals published over a 10-year period from 2001 to 2010 found that all of them have low fidelity: they oftentimes do not closely resemble the regions of the human body they are representing. They include only a small number of the structures that exist in these regions of the human body and do not accurately represent the shape and surface details of these structures. However, these models strongly correspond to the human body in the spatial relationship of the represented structures, which is crucial to achieving their educational purpose of teaching three-dimensional comprehension and anatomical reasoning. The educational value of these models includes acting as memory aids, reducing cognitive overload, facilitating problem solving, and arousing students' enthusiasm and participation. Because these models often lack a close resemblance to the human body, their use in anatomy teaching should always be accompanied by adequate explanations to the students to establish the correspondence between the models and the parts of the human body they are representing.     

背景音乐对服装模特形体训练的影响及选择

服装表演的特殊性使之与音乐的关系非常密切,而音乐所特有的性质,使人们对它的理解不是很直接,模特要有把这种听觉艺术用视觉方式解释出来的能力,所以音乐理解力的训练很重要。在形体训练中,伴奏音乐的好坏直接影响到模特对音乐的理解和对动作的诠释。     

对我国高师教师教育改革的思考

面对教师教育新形势,高师院校都在积极筹划改革。本文针对改革中倡导的"4+X"人才培养模式,以及成立教师教育学院等热点问题进行了分析,并根据基础教育发展的要求和教师专业发展规律,对我国高师院校教师教育模式提出了一些想法。
