远程临床医学技能培训的实现

目前医学教育中的临床技能培养存在要求高、难度大、实践机会少等问题。虚拟现实、视音频、多媒体及计算机网络等技术的发展,为临床医学技能培养提供了一条新的途径。基于新疆生产建设兵团医疗现状和发展规划构建的远程医学临床技能培训平台,就远程教育与医学教育的结合进行探索,依托优质医学资源,利用卫星网络、互联网络和VPN专网以及现代信息技术,实现远程医学教育、协同诊断、手术观摩、三维虚拟手术实验等功能,缩短了医学院学生、各类医务人员从理论学习到临床具体操作的时间,提升了整体的临床技能综合水平。

Knowledge and Utilization of the United States National Library of Medicine's Biomedical Information Products and Services Among African Health Sciences Librarians

The United States National Library of Medicine (NLM) has the largest collection of biomedical information products and services in the world. Little is known of the extent to which librarians in sub-Saharan Africa are aware of and use these resources. The study's aim was to assess knowledge and frequency of use of NLM's biomedical information products and services among African librarians. Forty-three of the 50 delegates at the 11th biannual Congress of the Association of Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA) participated in the study. The findings showed that participants' knowledge of NLM information products and services was low and that there is a need for increased awareness and training in the use of NLM's information products and services in order for users on the African continent to effectively benefit from them.     

基于嵌入式技术的中医方药系统设计和实现

本文设计和实现的中医方药嵌入式系统旨在建立和完善证候和方药之间的关系,改善中医临床和教学在辨证分类与方剂选用之间存在的脱节情况,改善中医药知识的传播和交流方式。系统采用嵌入式技术和移动数据库技术,在中心服务器为中医药知识的积累和传播提供平台,采用合并复制和远程数据访问技术,实现中心服务器与PDA设备和中医师桌面信息的同步,实现证、方、药的学习查询和辅助开方系统。     

诺贝尔生理学或医学奖得主的创造峰值年龄研究

诺贝尔自然科学奖在科学界影响巨大。作者以诺贝尔生理学或医学奖为例,着重对获奖者取得获奖成就的年龄进行分析,并评价了科学创造的“最佳年龄区”和“第二创造区”,提出了有关年轻科学家培养工作的几点启示。     

中医治疗艾滋病的疗效与前景

基于中医学是理论医学及在“非典”防治中的重要作用,本文就民间中医生在疫区治疗艾滋病的情况以及目前中医治疗艾滋病遇到的问题进行了研究,结果发现民间中医治疗艾滋病的疗效较为肯定,中医药治疗艾滋病的前景广阔。但存在忽视中医学自身标准、传染病法等法律不利于中医药参与治疗艾滋病等问题。为了13亿中国人健康,弘扬中医药应该成为国家战略。     

运动性疲劳的中医论治

中医、中药是我国特有的宝贵遗产 ,中医理论应用到运动性疲劳的论治上获益颇深。本文从中西药方法论的差别出发 ,阐述了中医对疲劳的理解和治疗方法 ,尤其是补剂与清剂在实践中的运用。提出了现在中医药研究中的一些不足和急待解决的问题     

行业情报服务平台建设探讨 ——以生物医药产业情报服务平台为例

当前竞争情报已成为继资本、技术、人才之后,企业的“第四核心竞争力”,在很大程度上决定着企业的生 存与发展,越来越多的企业倍加重视依赖于公开信息源的情报工作。服务于特定领域的行业情报服务平台具有专业领 域信息集中全面、信息挖掘程度高、检索快速准确的特点,是企业获取行业情报的全新利器。文章以我国行业情报服 务平台的建设现状和不足为切入点,详细介绍生物医药产业情报服务平台建设的案例,提出加强我国行业情报服务平 台建设的若干建议和具体做法。     

Impact of cross-cultural training on black and white mental health professionals

In a 3-year period, 174 mental health professionals received intensive 8-day cross-cultural/interracial communication workshops involving didactic, transactional, experiential, and cultural immersion techniques. Comprehensive evaluation strategies investigated changes in social distance, attitudes, and values comprehension, as well as improvement in therapeutic performance. Comparison of 68 white and 54 black clinical practitioners indicated significant differences in impact, with the former more oriented toward cognitive and attitudinal change, and the latter toward insight into personal identity and role conflict. Among white trainees, increased values comprehension, increased agreement with preferential treatment for minorities, and decreased social distance to tri-ethnic (black, Hispanic, white) stimulus figures at three socioeconomic status (SES) levels, were associated with improved therapeutic skills with a poor black client. Among black trainees, self-distancing responses to social, attitudinal, and values items which implied both acknowledgment and rejection of “black professional” identity, were associated with highly significant improvement in therapeutic performance with a poor black client. In addition to demonstrated efficacy in building knowledge and skill, cross-cultural training appears to be a consciousness-raising process for minority professionals conflicted about culture-abandonment and irrelevancies in clinical training.
