Students with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) are increasingly being educated within mainstream schools. While there is often an assumption that students with ASD who are academically capable will succeed in an inclusive educational placement, previous research has indicated that this is not always the case. Indeed, it seems that students with ASDs are often not equipped to cope with the social and communication demands of a mainstream classroom. Autism Spectrum Australia's (Aspect) satellite class programme aims to address this gap by blending specialised intervention with strategies to prepare students and receiving schools for transition to more inclusive educational placements. A long-term follow-up study comprising a parent survey of satellite class graduates and four detailed case studies was undertaken to determine whether these classes led to successful placement of students with ASD in more inclusive educational settings. Results indicated that a majority of graduates remained placed in more inclusive educational settings. Overall, parents were satisfied with the programme. Attendance at a satellite class was just one of a number of factors associated with positive outcomes in late adolescence. These findings are discussed in terms of their implications for teachers and school staff planning for and supporting students with ASDs in their transition to inclusive educational settings.  相似文献

Being victims of racial prejudice, religious intolerance, poverty, disempowerment and language loss it could be expected that indigenous people would be supportive of the Inclusion Movement with its philosophy of valuing and acceptance of all people. This supposition is examined for Māori, the indigenous people of Aotearoa/New Zealand. In particular, three research studies investigating Māori perspectives of intellectual disability, blindness and vision impairment, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are examined for evidence of inclusive and exclusive attitudes and practices. Findings show that while Māori participants’ opinions varied, people with intellectual disabilities, ASD, blindness and vision impairment were generally valued family members and many examples of inclusive attitudes and practices were shared. Core Māori values support Inclusion. It is proposed that incorporating these values into education and disability services will not only result in more culturally appropriate provisions for Māori but will also contribute to the greater inclusion of all disabled people whatever their ethnicity.  相似文献

通过干灰化法、Mars高通量密闭微波消解、压力自控密闭微波消解等三种前处理方法对同一种食品包装纸进行了总砷的检测,并对检测结果进行分析比较。实验结果表明干灰化法、高通量密闭微波消解法、压力自控密闭微波消解法的检出限分别为0.28ng/mL、0.09ng/mL、0.09ng/mL,精密度分别为9.97%、3.20%、4.15%,加标回收率分别为89.4%、93.7%、97.3%。经过相关比较分析,总结出前处理方法对纸制品中总砷检测的影响。  相似文献

对钝项螺旋藻完整藻胆体与解离藻胆体吸收光谱进行了比较研究.随着藻胆体的逐渐解离,其吸收光谱表现出如下变化特点:在紫外光区,吸收峰始终位于355nm,尖形峰逐渐变成钝形峰;在红光区,都有很强的吸收,吸收峰呈平顶状,其半带宽逐渐变小;紫外光区与红光区相对吸收强度的比值逐渐变小;四级导数吸收光谱的小峰数目越来越少.室温荧光发射光谱表明,藻胆体在低于0.9mol/L的磷酸缓冲液中变得不稳定,并开始逐渐解离,解离的藻胆体与完整的藻胆体相比,其荧光发射峰波长逐渐变短.  相似文献

认知无线电是一种可用于有效缓解当前频谱资源紧张的技术,而频谱感知是认知无线电的前提。针对低信噪比情况下频谱感知性能差的问题,提出一种将信号高阶统计量、协方差矩阵特征值与神经网络相结合的合作频谱感知算法。该算法考虑到认知用户与授权用户的信道衰落情况,利用神经网络较强的多分类能力,将最大-最小特征值之比、平均-最小特征值之比以及高阶统计量作为特征参数,通过神经网络实现合作频谱感知。仿真结果表明,该算法不仅在低信噪比情况下较其他算法具有更高的频谱检测率,而且对频谱中信号的调制类型也有较高的识别率。  相似文献

For many young people in England, the move into continuing education involves a transfer from the school where they were educated to a further education college. For those with high‐functioning autism or Asperger's syndrome, this can be a challenging process. Past research has demonstrated some of the problems that these young people can encounter. This article by Wendy Mitchell and Bryony Beresford, both based in the Social Policy Research Unit at the University of York, adds to the evidence base by describing how best to support these young people, focusing specifically on ‘young person endorsed’ practice. Data are gleaned from qualitative interviews with 18 young people with high‐functioning autism/Asperger's syndrome. Findings reveal that young people welcomed the involvement of practitioners; however, specific forms of help and knowledge were particularly valued. In addition, it was parents, as opposed to professionals, who typically emerged as the most significant and valued source of support. Implications for practice are discussed, including the support needs of parents.  相似文献
