How to develop creative imagination?: Assumptions, aims and effectiveness of Role Play Training in Creativity (RPTC)

There are hundreds of ways to develop creativity among children, youths and adults. Developing new ideas and ways of teaching creativity should also incorporate youth's interests and hobbies. The article presents the main information about the new way of developing creative abilities, especially creative imagination, the Role Play Training in Creativity (RPTC).The conception of such training was inspired by RPG games. Forty-seven undergraduate education students (mainly women) voluntarily participated in the presented research. The training was conducted in two forms—1-day meeting (8 h) or four meetings 2 h each (totaling also 8 h). The effectiveness of training was evaluated with the use of two creativity tests - Urban & Jellen Test of Creative Thinking - Drawing Production (TCT-DP) and Kujawski Test of Creative Imagination (TCI). Comparison of post-test and pre-test results shows statistically significant increase of the results in TCT-DP and two of three TCI scales—fluency and originality.

吴祖光是我国著名的剧作家,他创作的剧本既植根于民族文化土壤,又有外来影响,如《风雨夜归人》中,有易卜生的《玩偶之家》,契诃夫的《三姐妹》和高尔基的《在底层》中的追求,即每个人都有自己的尊严。《捉鬼传》中剧作家不自觉地借鉴了果戈理的《钦差大臣》。最后,吴祖光又大胆地拓展了自己的审美视野和戏剧思维方式,借用西方荒诞剧的艺术手法,创作了荒诞喜剧《嫦娥奔月》。     

What Should We Create Today? Improvisational teaching in play-based classrooms

This study presents the findings from a qualitative case study of free playtime in a toddler and a preschool classroom. This study explores whether recent understandings of play as a collectively produced improvised activity can shed light on the role of the early childhood teacher. The study found that the teachers and children collectively created a playful classroom environment by engaging in on-going improvised activity. The teachers often served as skilled improvisers, by creating, together with the children in their class, new performances out of whatever was available at the moment. The study concludes with a recommendation that improvisational theatre training be considered as a potentially supportive form of teacher education.

音乐剧是集音乐，舞蹈，戏剧表演于一体的现代舞台剧，在蜍的国际性演出已成为音乐剧发展的必然趋势，中国的音乐剧虽然起步较晚，但发展速度较快，在保留我国传统优秀部分的同时，把传统戏剧，杂质与音乐剧有机结合，用全新的理念进一步的开发与探索，在有着深厚的化传统底蕴的基础上，我们坚信有中国特色的音乐剧会在中国大地上异彩夺目。
