突发事件是影响高校稳定的突出问题。提高思想认识、理顺工作体制、强化应急管理,有效预防和积极应对突发事件,是当前高校迫在眉睫的管理大计,也是维护校园稳定、构建和谐校园的根本所在。     

基于广义Logistic赤潮模型的变结构控制

基于广义Logistic种群生长模型,建立一个浮游动植物相互作用模型,利用微分方程稳定性理论分析其平衡点的性态,得到模型由稳定到周期解的阈值.设计变结构控制器,抑制赤潮周期性爆发.最后,通过仿真模拟,验证结论的正确性.     

2D and 3D stability analysis of slurry trench in frictional/cohesive soil

A 2D and 3D kinematically admissible rotational failure mechanism is presented for homogeneous slurry trenches in frictional/cohesive soils.Analytical approaches are derived to obtain the upper bounds on slurry trench stability in the strict framework of limit analysis.It is shown that the factor of safety from a 3D analysis will be greater than that from a 2D analysis.Compared with the limit equilibrium method,the limit analysis method yields an unconservative estimate on the safety factors.A set of examples are presented in a wide range of parameters for 2D and 3D homogeneous slurry trenches.The factor of safety increases with increasing slurry and soil bulk density ratio,cohesion,friction angle,and with decreasing slurry level depth and trench depth ratio,trench width and depth ratio.It is convenient to assess the safety for the homogeneous slurry trenches in practical applications.     

“This Right Here Is All About Living”: Communicating the “Common Sense” About Home Stability Through CBPR and Photovoice

Homelessness remains a major problem in the United States as a result of urban deprivation, economic decline, a rise in housing costs, and a decline in blue-collar wages. Meanwhile, the dominant discourses around homelessness tend to frame the matter in terms of individual deviance rather than structural impediments. This study utilizes Community-Based Participatory Research and the photovoice method to articulate what a small number of “successfully home stable individuals” attribute to helping them to remain home stable as well as those factors that challenge this situation. The study analyzes how these attributions challenge the “common sense” about homelessness by refiguring the concept as a reintegration process with manifold causes and paths into and out of episodic home instability and giving voice to formerly homeless individuals who are successfully navigating reintegration into housed society.
