Intercultural competence plays a crucial role in increasingly multicultural societies. The Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQS) has proven to be a promising approach to measure intercultural competence in a variety of contexts. Despite its use as a reliable and valid instrument across the globe, however, the CQS has not yet been systematically validated for German-speaking countries. Therefore, the present study examined the psychometric properties, factor structure, and convergent and discriminant validity of a German translation of the CQS in two distinct samples (NStudy 1 = 392; NStudy 2 = 414). Across both studies, a bi-factorial model with three specific (i.e., cognitive, behavioral, and motivational CQ) and a general CQ factor best reflected the data. The results demonstrated good psychometric properties and promising results regarding the convergent and discriminant validity of the general factor whereas the incremental validity of the specific factors requires further consideration. 相似文献

Method validation is pursued as the first step in establishing Lean-Total Quality Management in a new clinical laboratory,
in order to eliminate error in test results. Validation of all the new tests were done (with particular reference to alkaline
phosphatase) by verifying reference intervals, analytical accuracy and precision, inter-assay and intra-assay variations,
analytical sensitivity, limit of detection, linearity and reportable range, i.e. (i) Analytical measurement range (AMR) and
(ii) Clinically reportable range (CRR). Our obtained reference range was within that of the manufacturer’s and showed high
degree of analytical accuracy between two laboratories (r
2 = 0.99). Precision was comparable with the manufacturer’s claim with inter-assay variation CV 1.04% and intra-assay variation
CV 1.54%. Lowest limit of detection was 1.0324 ± 0.007 with CV 0.34%. AMR was also verified with CV 1.26 and 0.69%, for level
1 and level 2 control sera, respectively. The assay was linear with different dilutions. Lean concept was also verified with
high recovery percentage. Validation ensures that accurate and precise results are reported in a clinically relevant turn

研究目的:以中试规模的缺氧/厌氧/好氧/后缺氧污水处理工艺为研究对象,利用BioWin软件平台及其内嵌的通用活性污泥数学模型,建立该工艺的模拟模型并进行校正及验证,为优化该工艺的设计及运行提供指导。创新要点:成功建立了缺氧/厌氧/好氧/后缺氧工艺的活性污泥数学模型,甄别出对模型输出有显著影响的灵敏性参数。研究方法:通过呼吸试验获取进水水质特征,利用BioWinTM软件平台及其内嵌的通用活性污泥数学模型,建立该工艺的模拟模型,利用模型缺省值进行初步稳态模拟,借助灵敏度分析方法筛选出重要的化学计量学参数及动力学参数并进行模型校正,利用校正后的模型对该工艺进行了动态模拟。重要结论:灵敏度分析可优化模型的校正过程,该工艺出水水质对异养菌(OHOs)和氨氧化菌(AOB)(YH、μmaxH、Ks、bH、μmaxA、KNH4A和baeroa,A)的灵敏度较高。校正后的模型稳态模拟出水水质(pH、COD、TN、NH4+-N、NO2--N、NO3--N和TP)控制在与实测出水相应的95%置信区间内(图5),表明稳态模型建模成功,在此基础上运行的动态模拟准确地反映了工艺实际运行中的浓度变化趋势(图6),具有良好的模拟效果。 相似文献

The aim of the present study was to adapt and validate the ISPCAN child abuse screening tool-retrospective version (ICAST-R) in Sri Lanka with a view to investigating the experiences of physical, sexual and emotional abuse during childhood.The adaptation was performed using qualitative research methods with young adults, parents, teachers, and a multidisciplinary group of experts. The translation to Sinhala (the local Sri Lankan dialect) was carried out by a nominal group technique. A multidisciplinary team of experts assessed the Sinhala ICAST-R (SICAST-R) for its content validity. Moreover, acceptability, reliability and construct validity were determined by conducting a validation study among 200 schooling young adults. The principal component analysis (PCA) technique was used to assess the construct validity. Response rates for each item were taken as evidence of acceptability. The internal consistency was assessed by Cronbach’s alpha, and test-retest reliability after two weeks was assessed using Cohen's kappa coefficient.The adaptation of ICAST-R included the introduction of an objective manner by which to measure severity of abuse and the inclusion of a set of questions regarding help-seeking behavior following physical and emotional abusive experiences.The SICAST-R showed adequate content validity and high acceptability, with response rates ranging from 90.3% to 99.5%. The minimum Cohen’s kappa coefficient was 0.76, indicating good test-retest reliability. The internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) for the total tool was 0.708, with the three constructs being 0.398, 0.844 and 0.637 for physical, sexual and emotional abuse, respectively. The PCA demonstrated good reproducibility for sexual and emotional abuse with the hypothesized structure.Overall, the SICAST-R showed adequate validity for the assessment of experiences of physical, sexual and emotional abuse during childhood among Sri Lankan young adults. 相似文献

The purpose of this study was to identify and validate items applicable to evaluating online courses at the postsecondary
level. Items were derived from a review of the literature. Four judges rated the similarity of the items by making pair-wise
comparisons utilizing multidimensional scaling (MDS). The study consisted of five stages. Stage I involved identifying items.
Stage II involved validating items. Stage III involved sampling. Stage IV involved developing an online MDS instrument accommodating
the 4,851 ([99 * 98]/2) pair-wise comparisons and rating them. Stage V involved data collection and analysis. The results
of the MDS study indicated a three-dimensional solution (Accessibility, Adaptability, and Clarity of Communication) as the
appropriate model for analysis. The three-dimensional solution indicated .24222 for the fit values of STRESS and .74 for R-squared. Four clusters were identified as Contextual Accommodation, Instructional Access, Guided Learning, and Organizational
Clarity.

In order to review the strengths and weaknesses of medical biochemistry practical curriculum for undergraduates and to generate
ideas to improve it, a questionnaire was sent to 50 biochemistry faculty members selected (through simple random sampling
method) from 42 medical colleges of Maharashtra, India. 39 responded to the questionnaire, representing a 78% response rate.
The internal consistency of the questionnaire sections was found to be satisfactory (>0.7). The respondents did not agree
that the ongoing curriculum was in alignment with learning outcomes (8%), that it encouraged active learning (28%), helped
to apply knowledge to clinical situations (18%) and promoted critical thinking and problem solving skills (28%). There were
a number of qualitative experiments that were rated ‘irrelevant’. Qualitative and quantitative experiments related to recent
advances were suggested to be introduced by the respondents. Checklists for the practicals and new curriculum objectives provided
in the questionnaire were also approved. The results of the curriculum evaluation suggest a need for re-structuring of practical
biochemistry curriculum and introduction of a modified curriculum with more clinical relevance. 相似文献
