外语教育政策与国家或地区的政治经济发展需要密切相关.外语教育政策反映社会需要,为地方经济发展服务.广西外语教育所培养的人才,无论在数量还是质量上还不能完全适应新形势的需要.面对中国东盟自由贸易区即将建立的机遇和挑战,广西必须适度调整其外语教育政策.     

外语非通用语网络课程建设实践——以印尼语视听说网络课程为例

在全球化和信息化时代,外语非通用语网络课程建设具有紧迫性。在确定网络课程的教学内容后,首先要寻找合适非通用语的网络教学平台。该平台要能支持多语种编码,具备实时教学、在线录音等功能。课件制作是建设网络课程的关键,只需具备一定的计算机网络知识和多媒体工具运用能力,独立建设类似于印尼语视听说的外语非通用语网络课程并非难事。     

建构诗性语言研究的新体系——评马大康《诗性语言研究》

通俗文学中的影视语言修辞——以《女报·时尚》等杂志及《幻城》为例

影视艺术与文学之间看似单向的滋养与借鉴过程,实则是相互的。本文通过对部分通俗文学作品的具体研究可知,通俗文学倚重画面的营造,注意声音的“在场”,并引用场景与台词进行修辞,使影视语言参与通俗文学修辞成为一大趋势。这一趋势对纯文学的发展具有一定的启示作用。     

L. V. Shcherba: a ‘new slant’ on modern foreign languages in the school curriculum?

In this paper, I offer a critical reflection on the thesis of the general educational value of foreign languages developed by Russian linguist Lev Vladimirovich Shcherba. I do so against the background of current debates on the positioning of foreign languages in the school curriculum in the United Kingdom (UK). I argue that Shcherba's thesis, which was developed almost a century ago, retains its currency and can make an important contribution to the on-going discussion on the value of foreign languages in UK schools. The paper outlines Shcherba's scholarly explorations in general linguistics which underpin his arguments in favour of the inclusion of foreign languages in the basic school curriculum. The conception of language as a system immanently positioned in social experience assigns the foundational role to language in the literacy project. The conscious analytic processing of language phenomena is viewed as an essential pre-condition of literacy, and foreign languages are shown to be instrumental in developing such an analytic capacity of mind. Shcherba's argumentation reflects a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach, both to foreign language education and to curriculum matters, and merits the attention of language practitioners, educationalists and policy-makers alike.     

少数民族语言研究发展趋势及选题特点

作者通过对2004－2012年间国内少数民族语言类文献的研究和分析,探讨了中国少数民族语言研究的发展趋势,并总结出少数民族语言研究类选题的特点及注意事项。希望此项研究能有助于少数民族语言工作者在开展少数民族语言研究方面进行有效选题。     

无言的交流--《巴别塔》评介

电影《巴别塔》是其导演亚利桑德罗的一大力作。影片中所有的人物,不论是在摩洛哥等待救援的受伤的美国游客、与父亲一同生活在东京的聋哑日本少女,还是北美荒原中惊慌失措的墨西哥保姆都是生活在纷争年代的人们的真实写照。传说中的巴别塔象征着人类的团结,而人类心目中的上帝所在的天堂是人类理解与沟通的最终目的。但是在语言已经不再是交流的障碍、人与人之间的联系也越来越密切的全球化的今天,即便是拥有相同文化、相同信念的人们之间的沟通却越来越困难。     

刘重德：“全球地方化”理念实践的典范

全球地方化是指全球化与地方化的融合。刘重德作为全球地方化理念的成功实践者,以其人生经历诠释了全球化和地方化在中国翻译研究和翻译实践领域不再分离的观点。从全球地方化视角探究不同文化的互相渗透,将帮助我们进一步认清刘重德的生平业绩、道德品质、翻译理论与翻译实践。他的成就可以概述为：（1）重英译汉,亦重汉译英;（2）兼收并蓄,形成自己独特的理论体系;（3）建立中国英汉语比较研究会,为跨文化研究提供载体;（4）重视全球地方化语境下的翻译人才尤其是中译外翻译人才的培养——所有这一切均将有助于中国文化在全球地方化时代永远保持自己独特的文化身份。     

试论高校民族语文教学的重要性和必要性

民族语言文字是民族文化的载体,是一种文化现象。多语种、多文种是中华民族多元文化的重要组成部分。在高校设立民族语文专业,是由我国的国情决定的,也是《宪法》赋予少数民族公民及其语言文字的基本权利。因此,根据不同民族的语言文化采取不同的措施,大力加强高校民族语文教学,对于继承和发展民族文化,构建和谐社会,促进民族地区的社会稳定及民族地区的经济发展有着重要的现实意义。     

Behavior of reinforced concrete structural walls with various opening locations: experiments and macro model

Two experimental tests of three-storied reinforced concrete structural walls having large openings were performed.Based on an original macro model,a multiple modified macro-model was proposed to develop a simple method to design a reinforced concrete structural wall with large openings and various opening locations.The interaction between reinforcement ties and concrete struts formed along the perimeter of openings was neglected in the original model.However,the strut-and-tie node was proposed to take account of such interaction in the proposed model.The predicted behavior of two specimens using such a proposed model was compared with the experimental results.It is shown that the behavior of structural walls with large openings could be modeled well using the proposed model.Moreover,the study indicates that the proposed model is applicable even in cases of multi-story structural walls having large openings and various opening locations.
