青少年心理控制源与社会适应行为的关系

以广州市中学生601人为被试,采用＂内—外心理控制源量表＂和＂青少年社会适应行为量表＂,探讨广州市中学生心理控制源与社会适应行为的关系。结果发现：（1）不同学校环境对青少年的心理控制源影响有显著差异,重点学校学生表现得更内控;（2）青少年心理控制源与社会适应行为显著关系,其中与适应良好行为呈负相关,与适应不良行为呈正相关;（3）青少年心理控制源可以预测社会适应行为,其中对适应良好行为起负向预测作用,对适应不良行为起正向预测作用。研究结论：心理控制源能够影响社会适应行为。     

气候变化心理学研究进展及发展建议

公众对气候变化的认知、态度、情绪、情感等心理反应是其参与气候变化减缓与适应的重要先决因素。追踪并监测公众的气候变化心理对气候变化教育、大众传媒宣传沟通、气候政策制定与实施具有至关重要的作用。文章系统论述气候变化与公众心理反应的相互影响,梳理影响气候变化心理的多维度因素,从气候变化心理对气候治理实践价值的角度提出发展建议,以期提高我国心理学、气候相关学科和政府有关部门对公众气候变化心理的关注和应用,助力全民参与的气候适应型社会构建。     

Middle and high school students’ conceptions of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies

Both scientists and policy-makers emphasize the importance of education for influencing pro-environmental behavior and minimizing the effects of climate change on biological and physical systems. Education has the potential to impact students’ system knowledge – their understanding of the variables that affect the climate system – and action knowledge – their understanding of behaviors that can impact the system. Research on climate change education has largely focused on system and action knowledge that address mitigation while overlooking equally necessary adaptive responses. This study used a pre/post-test format to identify aspects of middle and high school students’ climate system knowledge and action knowledge of both mitigation of and adaptation to climate change. Results indicate that adolescents currently conflate climate change mitigation strategies with unrelated environmental problems far less than in previous surveys. However, students demonstrated limited understanding of adaptive responses to climate change. After engaging in an instructional unit on climate change, students expressed stronger system and action knowledge, but significant misconceptions remained that conflated mitigation of and adaptation to climate change.     

Bacterial cryoprotectants

Cold-adapted organisms are known to accumulate cryoprotective substances inside their cells. Glycine betaine is a bacterial cryoprotectant. It is believed to act by stabilizing cellular proteins and membranes at low temperature. M K Chattopadhyay is working as a Scientist at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, on cold adaptation in Antarctic bacteria. “There is for me powerful evidence that there is something going on behind it all… It seems as though somebody has fine-tuned nature’s numbers to make the Universe… The impression of design is overwhelming.”     

All that glitters is not gold: Challenges of teacher and school leader licensure licensing system in Qatar

In 2001, the Government of Qatar began a comprehensive education reform (Education for a New Era) based on RAND's recommendations and options for building an educational system that would meet the country's changing needs. Nine years later, Qatar's educational landscape has significantly changed. Among these changes is the introduction of Professional Standards for teacher and school leaders and Qatar's first system for the registration and licensing of teachers and school leaders that are directly linked to the professional standards. This study seeks to analyze school leaders’ perspectives regarding the Qatar National Professional Standards for Teachers and School Leaders and the recently introduced accompanying licensure system. The study reports results from questionnaires addressed to 74 school leaders. These findings illuminate problematic issues and indicate that these policies use ambiguous terminology and procedures, ignore local educators’ input, and provide unrealistic expectations of society, lack consistency and created resistance on the part of educators. Discussion is provided that centers on the implications of importing educational products and the need to take into account the local culture in implementing these products.     

近代学科规训制度的中国本土化

近代学科规训制度在中国的确立经历了一个漫长而艰难的发展历程 ,它在中国的诞生与发展的路径 ,既是近代学科在中国的确立与完善化的过程 ,使中国人第一次比较详细地了解了近代西方科学的全貌 ;同时也是学科规训努力争取获得制度化安排在思想和文化上的斗争过程 ,特别是传统文化与代表西方近代科技知识的西学之间的深层矛盾 ,时刻影响着学科规训制度在中国的发展。仔细梳理这段历史 ,了解学科规训与社会之间的复杂关系 ,理解一种合理的制度化安排对科技发展的重要性 ,对于今天我们制定正确的学科规训计划具有极其重要的借鉴意义。     

泡桐脱病毒组培快繁

泡桐(Paulownia sp.)是黄、淮、海平原主要造防风林和用材树种，栽培面积大，木材产量和经济效益高，对当地经济建设起着举足轻重的作用。近年来，由类菌原体MLO(Myeoplasma—Like Organism)所引起的“丛枝病”逐年加重。严重影响了泡桐的生长发育和栽培的经济效益。该研究对脱除泡桐“丛枝病”的方法和技术进行了探讨。     

活动德育在大学新生适应期教育中的应用

从高中到大学,是一次人生的转折,也是一个跨越。面对全新的大学生活,新生们在生活或学习中可能会出现诸多的不适应。高校思想政治教育工作者怎样通过德育工作来有效、快捷地帮助新生度过适应期呢?活动德育是思想政治教育的新理念,它将德育寓于活动之中,具有隐蔽性、生动性和多样性。较之直接的说服教育,更容易被学生接受。通过活动德育来帮助新生尽快适应大学生活,是一种行之有效的德育方式。     

新疆中亚留学生跨文化适应调查与研究

来疆中亚留学生在文化适应方面有着不同的特点,论文以问卷调查辅以访谈的方式,从语言、环境和生活、心理以及学习适应四个角度分析了中亚留学生来华的文化适应性。结论表明中亚留学生在文化适应方面存在的主要问题是心理和学习适应,其次是环境和生活适应,最后是语言适应,由此,教育者应当有针对性地采取措施,提高中亚留学生的文化适应能力,帮助他们更快地适应所在地的生活和学习。     

Internationalisation of higher education: integrating international students into Canadian academic environment

Fuelled by globalisation, the internationalisation of higher education in Canada is happening at a rapid pace. One manifestation of internationalisation is the increasing enrolment of international graduate students in Canadian institutions. Many of these students face challenges and barriers in integrating into Canadian academic environments including isolation, alienation, marginalisation and low self-esteem. This case study investigates a programme at a large Canadian university intended to help international graduate students with their adaptation to an unfamiliar academic environment. The research shows that the programme was successful in creating a transnational learning space where international students developed a sense of belonging, increased cross-cultural understanding and raised awareness about global issues. More importantly, it helped international students with their integration into a Canadian learning community. The findings have important implications for the development of programmes to provide appropriate levels of support for international students and for building internationally inclusive campuses.
