Improving aspect extraction by augmenting a frequency-based method with web-based similarity measures

Online review mining has been used to help manufacturers and service providers improve their products and services, and to provide valuable support for consumer decision making. Product aspect extraction is fundamental to online review mining. This research is aimed to improve the performance of aspect extraction from online consumer reviews. To this end, we augment a frequency-based extraction method with PMI-IR, which utilizes web search in measuring the semantic similarity between aspect candidates and target entities. In addition, we extend RCut, an algorithm originally developed for text classification, to learn the threshold for selecting candidate aspects. Experiment results with Chinese online reviews show that our proposed method not only outperforms the state of the art frequency-based method for aspect extraction but also generalizes across different product domains and various data sizes.     

“三全育人”视域下高职院校学生学习成效提升研究

基于自身发展需求,高职院校必须更加关注学生的学习成效。学生的学习成效是检验高职院校“三全育人”实践效果的重要指标,而“三全育人”政策则为高职院校提升学生学习成效指明了方向。但对学生的学习指引不足、教学管理制度功能发挥欠佳、学生学习交流机会较少等问题均阻碍了高职院校学生学习成效的提升。“三全育人”视角下高职院校提升学生学习成效的基本路径包括三个方面:一是将提升学习成效要素融入“三全育人”顶层制度设计;二是构建“三全育人”学生学习成效评价体系;三是完善“三全育人”协同机制,助力学生学习成效的提升。

The Integration of Common Core and Response to Intervention: Supporting Vulnerable Readers in a Time of Sophisticated Standards

The Common Core State Standards and Response to Intervention are significant contemporary educational initiatives that have emerged largely in isolation from one another. We argue that an integration of these initiatives is beneficial. We trace the independent development of these two initiatives and offer suggestions for how they might fruitfully transact, fully supporting vulnerable readers in their efforts to master sophisticated standards. Results from a school implementing these initiatives as an integrated whole are discussed.     

Software product evolution for Intellectual Capital Management: The case of Meta4 PeopleNet

Software must evolve in order to adapt to new demands and scenarios. In the case of packaged software that can be customized, this evolution implies the maintenance of both out-of-the-box and customized functionality alike. New user interface technologies provide a way to interact with applications that software vendors are forced to incorporate in order to meet new user and market requirements. Packaged software vendors are facing software evolution processes in order to attract more customers and conserve the existing ones. This case analysis describes the evolution of packaged software, Meta4 PeopleNet, towards the addiction of Rich Internet Applications features to a Human and Intellectual Capital Management tool. The findings and lessons learned presented in this case study provide useful insights for packaged software vendors facing software product evolution.     

魏晋南北朝石刻文字源流举隅

对魏晋南北朝时期＂凷（塊）＂＂俛（俯、頫）＂＂囯（國）＂＂冈（[冖又]）、罔＂＂皂（皁）＂等五组典型字例进行析源导流的分析,认识到魏晋南北朝时期,汉字构件符号化特征增强,且表现较强势,使此时期的文字显示出形体演进的多途性,字形较＂乱＂。但字形通过旧理据的维持和新理据的建立依然能支撑起系统的平衡,表现出动态中的稳定,故＂乱＂而有矩。     

浅析新会计准则的主要变革

一份由财政部正式发布的,包括39项企业会计准则和48项注册会计师审计准则的中国新会计准则正式出台,并于2007年1月1日起执行。新会计准则将给我国的会计制度带来"革命性的变化"。其变革主要表现在会计基本准则、存货管理办法、资产减值准备计提、债务重组方法、企业合并会计处理方法、合并报表基本理论等六个方面。
