泰州市2009年麻疹减毒活疫苗初免成功率调查分析

目的了解泰州市婴儿麻疹疫苗接种后的免疫成功率情况,为消除麻疹提供参考依据。方法2009年7-8月在姜堰市2个镇对60名满8月龄婴儿,在麻疹疫接种前、接种后1个月分别采集1份血清标本进行抗体滴度检测。结果60名婴儿接种麻疹疫苗前抗体阳性者3名,阳性率5%;接种麻疹疫苗后1个月,抗体阳转率100%。结论泰州市麻疹疫苗接种有效,抗体阳转率高,免疫前抗体阳性者接种麻疹疫苗后可增加抗体滴度。有效保护儿童免受麻疹病毒的侵袭。     

CYP1A1多态性在上海人群中的分布

由于单核苷酸多态性(SNPs)在寻找致病基因，了解遗传多样性、环境与基因的相互作用方面有重大价值，SNPs研究已越来越多地引起了学术界和产业界的兴趣．CYP1A1编码的酶在烟草的主要几类前致癌物(如PAHs和芳香胺类物质)的代谢活化中有重要作用，其多态性与个体对环境相关的癌症的易感性密切相关．本研究采用PCR-RFLP技术在上海人群中，对CYP1Al的两个SNPs：CYP1A1 m1和m2进行了基因分型．结合其它已发表的数据，我们的研究表明，在中国人群的不同群体中，m1等位基因的频率分布比较一致，而m2等位基因的频率分布则存在着显著的不同．     

抗肿瘤纳米中药制剂研究

纳米中药作为中药的新剂型,具有缓释、靶向性等特点,能够降低中药的毒副作用,提高中药的治疗效果,同时对许多肿瘤的治疗显示了良好的抑制效应。拟对紫杉醇冻干纳米乳的制备及理化性质、羟基喜树碱纳米乳的制备及其抗癌作用做初步研究。     

兽用免疫佐剂的研究进展

佐剂可以增强机体对抗原的免疫应答反应,可以显著增强疫苗的免疫效果.综述了在兽用疫苗研究领域中常用的免疫佐剂,并对佐剂的发展趋势作了展望.     

Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase C677T polymorphism predicts response and time to progression to gemcitabine-based chemotherapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer in a Chinese Han population

Objective:The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR) C677T excision repair cross-complementation group 1(ERCC1) genetic polymorphisms and the clinical efficacy of gemcitabine-based chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:A total of 135 chemonaive patients with unresectable advanced NSCLC were treated with gemcitabine/platinum regimens.The polymorphisms of MTHFR C677T,ERCC1 C8092A,and ERCC1 C118T were genotyped using the TaqMan methods.Results:The overall response rate was 28.9%.Patients with MTHFR CC genotype had a higher rate of objective response than patients with variant genotype(TT or CT)(41.2% versus 19.1%,P=0.01).Median time to progression(TTP) of patients with MTHFR CC genotype was longer than that of patients with variant genotype(7.6 months versus 5.0 months,P=0.003).No significant associations were obtained between ERCC1 C118T and C8092A polymorphisms and both response and survival.Conclusions:Our data suggest the value of MTHFR C677T polymorphism as a possible predictive marker of response and TTP in advanced NSCLC patients treated with gemcitabine/platinum.     

POLITICS OF LOCAL INTERLIBRARY COOPERATION

Social and political issues are key factors in developing cooperation among public libraries. Experiences in public library cooperation have shown that the acceptance of cooperation as an ideal, patron reaction and acceptance, local pride and control, and the education and cooperation of the library board, local government officials, and funding agencies are all important in providing the best possible framework for cooperation. The commitment to and understanding of the implications, changes, and modifications that cooperation requires are also important. Realization that interpretation of what cooperation means and that unequal contributions can be expected are necessary steps in developing effective arrangements among public libraries.

Audre Lorde's speech, “The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action, “sheds light on the margins of rhetoric in the sense of the public speech because she examines factors that may cause some people to remain silent while enabling others to speak and act. “Margins” refers both to the parameters employed for defining a practice and the relative place or value of varied activities exemplifying the practice. Lorde interweaves her commentary on the silence surrounding breast cancer with insights about silence drawn from her experiences as a member of several subordinated communities, especially as they relate to the misuse of power to silence those who are different. Her speech comments on silencing and power, sexism, verbal abuse, violence and sexualized aggression, shame, the taboo, and hostile social environments. Paradoxically, Lorde's speech is as much about the possibilities of rhetoric as its limits.     

Effect of Vitamin B<Subscript>12</Subscript> and Folate on Homocysteine levels in colorectal cancer

Folate and cobalamin (Vitamin B₁₂) are two essential micronutrients involved in one-carbon metabolism, which affects heart disease, neural tube defects and cancer. Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase, the key enzyme involved in one carbon metabolism produces methyl tetrahydrofolate from methylene tetrahydrofolate, which in turn donates methyl group to homocysteine to generate methionine. There exist two common low function polymorphic variants of the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene involving nucleotides 677 C→T and 1298 A→C, which are associated with hyperhomocysteinemia. These polymorphisms are also linked with increased risk for certain cancers such as breast cancer and at the same time providing a protective effect on colorectal cancer. In this case control study, we have evaluated levels of folic acid, vitamin B₁₂ and homocysteine in patients with colorectal cancer. Folate and homocysteine levels did not differ significantly between the two groups; however an increasing trend was noticed with increase in homocysteine levels. Vitamin B₁₂ levels were increased in cases compared to control group.     

Evaluation of immunohistochemistry and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay for HER-2/neu expression in breast carcinoma

HER-2 is overexpressed in approximately 20–30% of invasive Breast Cancer. ECD of the HER-2 protein is frequently cleaved and released into the circulation, where it can be detected by ELISA in up to 45% of patients with metastatic breast cancer. The objective of our study was to compare the current methods for the detection of HER-2 protein. Tissue HER-2 levels were studied in 100 breast cancer patients by IHC and compared with serum HER-2 levels by ELISA. IHC frequency was 29%. Serum HER-2 ECD was positive in 42% of patients. A statistically significant correlation was observed. HER-2 detected by IHC correlates significantly with serum HER-2 levels detected by ELISA. Thus, ELISA is a reliable and economical tool to assess the HER-2 status in tumors, when breast tissue sample is not available.     

银杏叶总黄酮对人肝癌HepG2细胞凋亡的影响及其机制研究

目的探讨银杏叶总黄酮对体外培养的人肝癌HepG2细胞凋亡的促进作用及其分子机理。方法采用TUNEL法检测银杏叶总黄酮对HepG2细胞凋亡的影响,提取Bcl-2基因的mRNA,以RT-PCR法研究银杏叶总黄酮对Bcl-2基因表达的影响。结果银杏叶总黄酮使人HepG2细胞凋亡指数增加（P〈0．01）,且呈剂量依赖效应;Bcl-2基因mRNA水平随银杏叶总黄酮浓度升高而降低。结论银杏叶总黄酮可促进人HepG2细胞的凋亡过程,并使Bcl-2基因mRNA水平降低,从而起到抗肿瘤的治疗作用。
