英语书面语中模糊限制语的使用差异研究

基于BROWN,LOB,CLEC三个书面语语料库,通过对比英语本族语者与中国英语学习者英语书面语中模糊限制语的使用情况,探讨影响中国英语学习者英语写作中模糊限制语使用的因素,指出学生在英语写作中应尽可能避免文化思维差异及母语迁移对写作的影响,而教师在教学中应尽量加强对模糊限制语的研究,使学生在表达中增强正确使用模糊限制语的意识,达到成功交流的目的。     

基于语料库的搭配力研究——以place一词为例

词语搭配是语料库语言学的研究热点,该类研究对语言学习、词典编撰和语言教学有重要启示作用。本文介绍了搭配力的三种计算方法,然后以place一词为例,通过BNC的检索,探寻该节点词的显著搭配词,并计算其搭配力。     

基于语料库的精读教学与写作

语料库正被广泛运用到外语教学,在精读教学中借助语料库进行写作教学不仅有利于丰富精读课程,提高学生的学习兴趣,还有利于培养学生独立学习的能力,促进写作能力的提高。     

Effects of jinlu, an anti-juvenile hormone on the growth, ultra-structure of the corpora allata and prothoracic gland of silkworm,Bombyx mori L

The 4th instar larvae of the silkworm,Bombyx mori L, when treated with anti-juvenile hormone (Jinlu) had its larval period extended by 2 days and the total larval period shortened by about 4 days. The conversion ratio of tetramolters into trimolters was 100%. But anti-juvenile hormone administration to the 5th instar larvae lengthened the silkworm age by one day. When anti-juvenile hormone was administered, we could find many neurosecretory granules of the brain transferred to the cells of the corpora allata, but there was little endoplasmic reticulum. In the prothoracic gland, the micropile edge was clear and there were large nucleoli, mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum. This study was carried out to show that anti-JH compound inhibits the secretion of Juvenile hormone in silkwormBombyx mori L. The investigation revealed that the antijuvenile hormone inhibited the secretion of corpora allata and initiated the activity of the prothoracic gland. 基于语料库的英汉习语隐喻认知对比研究——以“红”和“蓝”习语为例

隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,还是一种思维方式和认知工具,是思维与语言的纽带。本文基于语料库,对英汉"红"和"蓝"习语中的隐喻认知加以分析,证实由于历史文化背景造成的认知心理上的差异,使英汉这两种颜色词带有各自的民族文化特点,其中体现的隐喻认知也必然表现出各自的差异。     

大学英语“4I”写作教学模式研究

本研究通过实验探讨适合新时期大学生学习特点及需求的新的写作教学模式。笔者提出了包含呈现、互动、归纳和诊断四个环节的大学英语“4I”写作教学模式,并进行了为期4个月的教学实验。实验结果表明大学英语“4I”写作教学模式中多样的任务模式符合新时期大学生的学习心理及学习需要,能有效激发学生写作兴趣,利于学生英语写作水平的提高。     

On the Use and Usefulness of Stress Diacritics in Reading Greek

The assignment of stress when reading Greek can be based on lexical and orthographic information. One hundred and seventy seventh-grade children read lists of isolated words and pseudowords. A large proportion of stress assignment errors were made in pseudoword reading, especially on the items that do not follow the most frequent penultimate stress pattern. Analysis of text corpora indicates that ignoring written stress diacritics would result in less than 1% errors, without taking into account disambiguating effects of context. It is tentatively suggested that, in reading Greek, stress assignment is primarily lexical. The results are consistent with a hypothesis that the bisyllabic trochee is the default metrical frame in Greek.     

基于语料库的读者参与手段使用对比研究——以中美大学生英语议论文为例

读者参与手段的使用与作者的语言水平有一定的关系.该研究以三组不同英语水平的中国大学生和一组美国大学生为研究对象,采用语料库研究的方法,对比分析了他们议论文中读者参与手段的使用情况.研究发现,中国大学生在使用读者参与手段的总量上高于美国大学生,而且差异显著.但在各子类读者参与手段的使用上,各组中国大学生以及中美大学生之间并没有呈现某一特定的分布趋势.     

Fish and Oceanographers,Scholars and Librarians: Researching Nineteenth-Century Russian Women Writers

This article discusses librarianship and literary scholarship as operating under separate paradigms, or ways of looking at the world, and considers the relationship between them. Each of these paradigms, it is suggested, generates distinctive research tools that combined can expand our ability to help Slavic and other Humanities literary researchers.     

小型语料库在外语教学中应用研究

近十几年来语料库的理念与工具被直接应用于外语教学,主要体现在教学大纲设置、教材编写、课堂活动设计与探讨小型语料库在教学中的作用等方面.当前尚且缺乏具有一定理论高度与实际指导意义、探讨如何利用小型语料库进行具体教学实践的研究,其原因主要有:对语料库强大的功能及其理论认识及利用不足;缺乏依照某一教学目标,建立小型语料库的经验;对语料库的工具了解不够深入等.实际上,语料库的理念、特质和工具特别有助于学习者建构外语学习涉及的内容图式、提高他们对表达形式的认识与熟悉度,从而培养他们的语言使用能力.以培养学习者"说"能为核心的高级英语视听说课充分利用小型语料库的教学资源与工具,可以开创出英语教学的新思路.
