Eyes Wide Shut: Recent Educational Policy in the Light of Changing Notions of English Identity*

Although Curriculum 2000 includes some welcome changes, such as the inclusion of drama, it is essentially a missed opportunity. I argue that it fails to address the complexity of modern life. In many academic areas, including literature, issues of identity are central to fundamental debates. Such debates have been precipitated by increasing economic globalisation and the consequent increase in interdependence between people from diverse cultural heritages. Although this situation is not new, the social and technological changes of recent decades have altered the pace of such developments. In most cities school populations reflect such changes. In this paper I argue that there are substantial gaps in the curriculum which derive mainly from government policy being premised on crude and obsolete notions of English identity. Such notions lead to a confusion of the concepts of culture and citizenship as modes of belonging. In my view both of these factors severely constrain our ability to construct a critical curriculum which adequately addresses contemporary interests and dilemmas.

本文从主题嬗变的角度探讨了新时期女性小说的发展规律。认为女性小说的主题大致经历了传统爱情主题———社会参与主题———寻找“本我”主题的衍进过程。本文分别阐述了三大主题涵盖下的女性小说各自的产生原因、各自的特点和缺点以及各自的历史和现实的任务 ,并试图以此来探索女性小说今后的发展方向。     

《琵琶行》与《夜闻歌者》的比较研究

《琵琶行》与《夜闻歌者》是白居易通过歌声关注妇女命运的两首诗歌,表面上写的是歌女,而实则抒发自己的报国无门,被贬之苦,从而达到感世咏叹的目的。然而两首诗在人物身份、对话方式、演技描写、外貌描写等方面存在着很大差异,笔者就从这方面着手来分析这两首诗。     

改进的移动商务身份认证方案设计

本文对移动电子商务系统进行了探讨和分析,并针对移动通信的终端设备多以计算能力相对较弱,存储量小的智能卡为主的特点,基于椭圆曲线密码体制,提出了适用于移动电子商务的一种改进的TDAKA(双向认证与密钥协商)协议,同以往方案做了比较,并对该方案的安全性和计算复杂性进行了分析。该协议有以下特点:实现了网络和用户的双向认证;采用数字签名,用户对业务具有不可否认性;由于利用椭圆曲线公开密钥密码算法,使得在同样的安全水平下,可以减小密钥长度,加快计算速度,适应移动通信系统环境。     

后殖民语境下库切的流浪文学

流浪是后殖民语境中重要的文学、文化现象。库切是后殖民语境下一位重要的流浪作家，其流浪有自身的特点——殖民者的流浪。库切通过对文化身份的关注与忧虑，对殖民话语的颠覆以及跨文化整合写作方式的尝试，展现了他对后殖民主义的揭示及批判，显示了他的流浪文学在后殖民语境下的内在含义。     

高校辅导员职业认同感培养的路径选择

近年来,高校辅导员的职业认同感依然有所缺失。其成因既有主体内在因素,也有社会环境等外部因素的影响。培养其职业认同感,不仅要加强体制机制建设,提供外部支持力量,更主要的是发挥其主体意识作用,依靠其自身努力,培养光荣感、效能感、成就感、归属感。     

The exclusiveness of group identity in celebrations of team success

Basking in reflected glory (BIRGing) describes individuals’ tendency to publicly affiliate themselves with successful others. Within sport, scholars have provided foundational knowledge pertaining to BIRGing; however, they have not deeply engaged with sport fans to understand the influence of multiple group identities in celebrating team success. Using social identity theory and social identity complexity as theoretical frameworks in the current study, I conduct qualitative research with sport fans to understand how multiple group identities influence fan behaviours in response to team performance. I discover that fans (1) BIRG and blast for an enhanced sense of inclusiveness and distinctiveness, and (2) possess multiple, ordinarily inclusive group identities, which converge into a highly exclusive social identity structure immediately before, during, and after games against rivals. I conclude by discussing the potential theoretical and managerial implications regarding multiple group identities in sport contexts, as well as directions for future research.     

高校统一身份认证平台建设研究

高校经过多年的信息化建设,其内部应用系统众多,随着管理业务的综合化发展,系统间数据的不一致、“信息孤岛”、用户权限多样等现象不断的暴露出来,对管理造成诸多不便。从信息共享、身份认证出发,对统一身份认证系统进行研究,解决系统间的权限分配、身份多样等问题。     

风险社会视角下当代大学生政治认同引导研究

风险社会引起人们广泛关注的主要原因就是其具有的复杂性以及不稳定性的特点。当前,中国正处在转型的时期,也是进入到风险社会的危险期,怎样让大学生对风险社会带来的问题有一个很好的认识,这就需要高校加强对大学生在风险社会视角下的政治认同教育。     

国有企业员工身份多元化与情感承诺关系研究

利用326份问卷调查的数据对国有企业员工身份多元化与情感承诺之间的关系进行实证研究,并探索了工资合法性和雇佣形式对上述关系的调节作用。研究结论显示,国有企业员工身份多元化的程度能够显著地降低员工的情感承诺,而工资的合法性能够正向调节上述消极关系:工资合法性越强,国有企业员工身份多元化对情感承诺的消极影响就越弱。但是,雇佣形式能够负向调节上述消极关系:正式身份员工的身份多元化程度对情感承诺的消极影响,要显著地高于非正式身份员工的身份多元化程度对情感承诺的消极影响。
