Technology and employment: Mass unemployment or job creation? Empirical evidence from European patenting firms

This paper explores the possible job creation effect of innovation activity. We analyze a unique panel dataset covering almost 20,000 patenting firms from Europe over the period 2003–2012. The main outcome from the proposed GMM-SYS estimations is the labor-friendly nature of innovation, which we measure in terms of forward-citation weighted patents. However, this positive impact of innovation is statistically significant only for firms in the high-tech manufacturing sectors, while not significant in low-tech manufacturing and services.     

Promoting physical activity using a wearable activity tracker in college students: A cluster randomized controlled trial

This study examined the effects of utilizing a wearable activity tracker in a credit-based physical activity instructional program (PAIP) for promoting physical activity (PA) in college students. Fourteen PAIP courses in a large public university were randomly assigned into intervention (k = 7; n = 101) and control (k = 7; n = 86) groups. All courses focused on a core curriculum that covers basic exercise and behavioral science contents through lectures and activity sessions. A Misfit Flash activity tracker was provided to students in the intervention group. Objective PA assessments occurred at baseline, mid-, and end-of-semester during a 15-week academic semester. The control group showed a significant reduction in moderate- and vigorous-intensity PA (MVPA) minutes from baseline to the end-of-semester (P <.05), whereas the intervention group showed no changes in MVPA minutes over time. However, the intervention group also showed increased sedentary time and decreased time spent in light-intensity PA during the intervention period. Taken together, the present study found null effects of utilizing the wearable activity tracker in promoting PA in college students suggesting that intervention of primary using the wearable activity tracker as a behavior change strategy may not be effective to increase in PA in this setting.     

土家族摆手舞的传承模式及其变迁研究

学界关于体育非遗的研究,多是武术、养生气功、传统游戏竞技方面的,对传统舞蹈类体育非遗的关注不够,从模式视角审视传统舞蹈类体育非遗传承实践和传承问题的研究更是少有。运用文献资料法、田野调查法、深度访谈法等,对摆手舞传承实践进行历时梳理和现时调查,提炼摆手舞的传承模式,分析传承模式变迁的表征及动因,从中归纳摆手舞的变迁机制,总结摆手舞的传承经验,审视摆手舞的传承问题,对整个传统舞蹈类体育非遗的未来传承提出建议。认为摆手舞传承实践中的9种传承样态可以提炼为民间主体主导传承、政府主导传承、社会组织主导传承3种传承模式,这些传承模式及其要素在相关文化生态因子的作用下处于永恒的变迁状态;各传承主导方对摆手舞的动态认同及传承模式的多样化是摆手舞传承至今的根本保证,摆手舞的传承问题正是由于各传承要素未能对文化生态因子的变化做出及时调适的结果,这要求摆手舞各传承要素不仅要适应文化生态变化,也要走向有机协同。未来,传统舞蹈类体育非遗应回归传承者的生产、生活之中,要融入全民健身之中,也要转向休闲娱乐;要明确传承主导方的权责;在传承中做到传承模式的多样性与保持体育非遗内涵的原真性相统一。     

Do corporate management tools inevitably corrupt the soul of the university? Evidence from the implementation of responsibility center budgeting

The use of corporate management tools in universities has been widely critiqued in recent decades, as it is viewed as undermining academic goals and promoting marketization and corporatization. Responsibility center budgeting (RCB) is one popular management tool that has been decried as promoting market logics, internal competition and institutional fragmentation. This comparative case study investigated four North American universities that employed RCB for several years, to investigate the relationship between unit autonomy and coordination. Site visits and interviews with key informants were conducted at the four universities, supplemented by document analysis. The analysis identifies widely different experiences between two sets of universities. Findings show that the ability of the central administration to promote vertical coordination is critical to mitigating the adverse consequences of RCB.     

异质设计动机下的股权激励对产品创新能力的影响

在厘清股权激励对企业产品创新行为影响机理的基础上,本文采用案例研究方法,分析控股股东与管理层权力博弈结果对股权激励动机的影响,以及不同的股权激励设计动机对企业的产品创新行为的异质影响。研究发现,管理层权力主导和控股股东权力主导所造成的内部人控制问题,会使得股权激励沦为内部人谋取私有收益的工具,缩减提升公司竞争能力和可持续发展能力但风险高、周期长的产品创新的投入,进而削弱产品创新的成果转化能力。只有在控股股东发挥积极监督治理的环境中实施的股权激励才具备提升创新投入和产出成果转化能力的作用。     

促进适应气候变化科技创新的政策环境研究

系统地梳理适应气候变化科技创新的内涵与特点,分析世界主要国家促进适应气候变化科技创新的共性特征,基于ND-GAIN指数对我国适应气候变化的能力进行国际比较。在此基础上,从供给侧和需求侧,提出优化研发布局、加强技术扩散、开展气候可行性论证、提升适应标准、政府绿色采购以及开展国际合作等促进适应气候变化科技创新的政策建议。     

国内外企业研发投入差异化激励政策研究

梳理近期国内外实施的企业研发投入差异化激励政策,提出完善我国企业研发投入财税激励政策的对策建议。     

绿色技术创新视域下中国生态福利绩效的时空演变及影响因素——基于省域尺度的数据检验

运用SBM-DEA超效率模型、Getis-Ord Gi*指数、面板Tobit回归模型,在绿色技术创新视域下分析2004—2016年除西藏、香港、澳门和台湾的中国30个省(市、自治区)的生态福利绩效水平、空间分类特征和冷热点区域格局演化及影响因素。     

用水文特征参数变化表征人类活动水文效应的初步研究

该文以地处半干旱地区的河北省张家口云州水库流域为研究对象，基于多年径流变化规律，探讨和归纳了评估流域人类活动水文效应的若干参数，并就这些参数值进行了分析。结果表明：研究时段内，研究流域年均流量呈明显的下降趋势且波动幅度明显减小，年均降水的上升或下降趋势并不太明显，径流变化对降水变化的响应程度趋于迟缓，而年径流系数、平均洪峰流量、径流年内分配不均匀系数、径流变羞系数等水文特征参数均表现出下降趋势，初步得出了云州水库流域径流量的变化主要是土地利用和小水利工程建设等人类活动作用结果的结论。
