经济带建设背景下的农业院校文科专业人才培养研究

作为“一带一路”倡议的重要组成部分,龙江陆海丝绸之路经济带战略的提出将有助于推动黑龙江省的产业升级。作为提供人才保障的高等院校,如何针对战略需求调整人才培养模式,使人才需求更好地匹配战略发展,就显得尤为重要。     

A history of the future of higher education for sustainable development

Thirty years of academic dialogue and reinvention about environmental and sustainability education conceals the consistency of rhetoric that literature holds. This paper argues that higher education for sustainable development does not call for the invention of anything disconcertingly new. In fact, four simple, long‐standing concepts contribute most of the philosophy, disciplinary content and pedagogy required: liberal education, interdisciplinarity, cosmopolitanism and civics. A review is undertaken of the literature behind these ‘ideas neither young nor mature’ and a sustainability canon is derived that features integrated sciences, humanities and social sciences theory, engaging, active pedagogy and authentic external experiences.     

旅游景点名称翻译的范式与应用——以天柱山风景区的景点名称翻译为例

根据景点名称的构成和功能,从文化传播角度对景点名称的翻译提出相应策略。对"以形命名"或"形神结合"的景点名称采用直译法;对以历史故事、神话传说命名的景点名称用意译法;而以历史人物或普通地名命名的景点用音译法;对专名、通名都是单音节组成或隐喻命名的景点名称可采用全名译音、通名译意的方法。     

高职院校文科数学课程教学的探讨

高等数学是现代数学的一个重要分支,是高职院校文科专业的一门公共基础课程。随着计算机科学的发展和学科之间的相互融合,文科数学作为文科专业的一门工具基础课程其重要性已日益显现。针对高职院校文科数学教学情况,结合自己已有的教学体会,对高职院校文科专业数学教学作了一些探讨。     

高职院校文科生就业技能培养的思考

高职院校学生就业能力难以满足用人单位的需要,和普通本科相比,高职院校学生生源参差不齐,综合素质基础相对薄弱,在有限的时间里学到更多的知识和提高各方面的综合素质无疑是一个严峻的挑战。高职学生的核心技能通常被冠以＂动手能力＂强化,使倾向于以＂动手＂为主要优势的理科生又一次占据了高职院校＂半壁江山＂,这给高职院校中文科生的就业带来了困惑。     

韩国民族主义的建构与重构——兼论民族国家建构过程中韩国对中国朝鲜族的态度转变

民族主义的推动力主要体现在建构、重构与解构三个方面,韩国民族主义兴起有着历史和社会两方面的原因。从民族主义的建构与重构角度,韩国在进行民族国家建构过程中对于中国朝鲜族态度发生了由＂亲＂到＂疏＂的转变,韩国的民族主义正在重构而这种重构与民族主义的两面性也带来了许多问题。韩国民族主义今后可能会有两种不同的发展走向。     

Inquiry-Based Learning and the Art of Mathematical Discourse

Abstract

Our particular flavor of inquiry-based learning (IBL) uses mathematical discourse, conversations, and discussions to empower students to deepen their mathematical thinking, building on strengths of students in the humanities. We present an organized catalog of powerful questions, discussion prompts, and talk moves that can help faculty facilitate a classroom focused on mathematical discourse. The paper brings this discourse alive through classroom vignettes and explores various teacher moves and their impacts. The mathematical theme of the classroom investigations, Maypole dance patterns, stems from the learning guide “Discovering the Art of Mathematics: Dance.” Both authors are part of the NSF-funded project “Discovering the Art of Mathematics,” which provides IBL materials for mathematics for liberal arts courses, see www.artofmathematics.org.     

Active Learning in a Math for Liberal Arts Classroom

Abstract

Inquiry-based learning is a topic of growing interest in the mathematical community. Much of the focus has been on using these methods in calculus and higher-level classes. This article describes the design and implementation of a set of inquiry-based learning activities in a Math for Liberal Arts course at a small, private, Catholic college. Activity design, student responses, class management, and student and instructor attitudes are discussed.
