The Challenge of Evaluating Action Learning

The paper examines the benefits claimed for action learning at individual, organisational and inter-organisational levels. It goes on to identify both generic difficulties in evaluating development programmes and action learning specifically. The distinction between formative and summative evaluation is considered and a summative evaluation framework is outlined, based on recent reviews of evaluations of development programmes, while recognising that establishing clear causal links remains problematic.

以构建宁波市全民健身基本公共服务质量评价体系为目标,对全民健身基本公共服务质量评价构成要素进行深入研究。运用文献资料法、问卷调查法、AHP法、德尔斐法等,公共体育设施质量、公共体育服务质量、健身环境质量、附属体育设施质量以及群众健身服务人员质量构成宁波市全民健身基本公共服务评价体系,5种构成要素相互交叉、联系,共同影响着宁波市全民健身基本公共服务的发展;最后构建了宁波市全民健身基本公共服务质量评价体系——包括1个一级指标、5个二级指标、32个三级指标。

“医学遗传学”课程思政的实施策略与效果评估

Inclusive pedagogies in digital post-Covid-19 higher education

The Covid-19 pandemic has not only led to medical conundrums and uncharted scientific territories but has also engendered new educational challenges and opportunities that need to be considered in order to reconceptualise, recalibrate and reconfigure higher education in terms of its inclusive foundations and orientations. While current research has highlighted the role of digital teaching methodologies in creating the ‘new normal’ in higher education in the post-Covid-19 era, the ‘new normal’ must be concomitantly envisaged in terms of the role of higher education in fostering more inclusive e-learning spaces. This article discusses the ways in which the tenets of an inclusive pedagogical discourse can be conceptualized and enacted in virtual learning environments in terms of teaching methodologies, learner-centred content delivery and formative assessment implementation. The pedagogical triptych should be underpinned by an inclusive and equity-based ‘cyberculture’ that constitutes a sine qua non element in developing all students' sense of belonging and learning in higher education.     

Automatic thematic classification of election manifestos

We digitized three years of Dutch election manifestos annotated by the Dutch political scientist Isaac Lipschits. We used these data to train a classifier that can automatically label new, unseen election manifestos with themes. Having the manifestos in a uniform XML format with all paragraphs annotated with their themes has advantages for both electronic publishing of the data and diachronic comparative data analysis. The data that we created will be disclosed to the public through a search interface. This means that it will be possible to query the data and filter them on themes and parties. We optimized the Lipschits classifier on the task of classifying election manifestos using models trained on earlier years. We built a classifier that is suited for classifying election manifestos from 2002 onwards using the data from the 1980s and 1990s. We evaluated the results by having a domain expert manually assess a sample of the classified data. We found that our automatic classifier obtains the same precision as a human classifier on unseen data. Its recall could be improved by extending the set of themes with newly emerged themes. Thus when using old political texts to classify new texts, work is needed to link and expand the set of themes to newer topics.

FMCG供应链风险综合评价研究——以中国乳制品供应链为例

<正>如供应链管理专家Christopher所言,21世纪是供应链的时代,快速消费品(FMCG)企业如何在这供应链管理的时代对供应链风险进行管控将是一项富有挑战性的任务。从供应链风险管理的基本理论出发,在前人研究的基础之上对FMCG供应链的风险进行分析,提出适用于FMCG供应链的风险评估指标,并采用模糊综合评价分析法对中国乳制品供应链的风险情况进行综合分析。根据分析的结果,FMCG供应链应当加强供应链渠道建设、流程管理和风险预警机制等方面的措施以提高供应链系统抵抗风险的"免疫力"。
