Latent class Poisson count models are used to analyse a sample of Danish test score results from a cohort of individuals born in 1954–1955, tested in 1968, and followed until 2011. The procedure takes account of unobservable effects as well as excessive zeros in the data. We show that the test scores measure manifest or measured ability as it has evolved over the life of the respondent and is, thus, more a product of the socioeconomic status of the parents and the human capital formation process than some latent or fundamental measure of pure cognitive ability. We find that variables which are not closely associated with traditional notions of intelligence explain a significant proportion of the variation in test scores. This adds to the complexity of interpreting test scores and suggests that school culture and possible incentive problems make it more difficult to understand what the tests measure.  相似文献

This paper assesses how use of smartphones relates to exposure to heterogeneity, political efficacy, and political engagement and suggests a new mediation model that can be applied to mobile communication. Drawing on online survey data collected during the 2012 presidential election in South Korea, this study finds that exposure to heterogeneity and political efficacy jointly mediate the impact of informational uses of smartphones on political participation. The current study also shows that informational uses of smartphones are significantly related to encounters with heterogeneity, political efficacy, and participatory behaviors. Additionally, recreational uses of smartphones were found to have a positive association with exposure to heterogeneity. However, relational uses of smartphones were not associated with democratic outcomes. The findings suggest that smartphones, by increasing the possibility of encountering diversity and subsequently enhancing political efficacy, create an additional pathway to citizen engagement in democratic processes.  相似文献

An animated concept map is a presentation of a network diagram in which nodes and links are sequentially added or modified. An experiment compared learning from animated concept maps and text by randomly assigning 133 undergraduates to study 1 of 4 narrated animations presenting semantically equivalent information accompanied by identical audio narration. Two of the animations presented text; one with concurrent audio and another with delayed audio. Two of the animations presented concept maps; one in black and white and the other with nodes colored to represent semantic relatedness. The concept map groups outperformed the text groups on free recall (p < .05). The black-and-white concept map group outperformed the text groups on a multiple-choice knowledge test (p < .05). No advantages were statistically detected for color enhancements of the animated map. The results indicate that verbal information can be effectively communicated by learner-paced animated concept maps accompanied by audio narrations.  相似文献

To what extent does the construction of any curriculum framework have to contain axiological assumptions? Educators have been made aware of tacit epistemological assumptions underlying existing curricular frameworks by the continual demands for their revision. , ) suggested that curriculum policy should be centred around imagination; economic rationalists have suggested that it be made more functional and accountable than traditional university disciplines allow for. Is it possible, as ) suggests, to combine competing traditional ideologies of education in a complex postmodern pastiche which can nonetheless provide standards of assessment and evaluation without presuming a grand narrative? ) suggests not.    基于《中国专利数据库》等数据库的匹配数据基础上,本文从理论与实证相结合的角度研究了贸易自由化与企业创新知识宽度之间的关系及其影响机制问题。研究表明:总体上讲,贸易自由化会促进企业创新知识宽度的拓展;资本品、最终品贸易自由化对创新知识宽度的促进作用大于中间品贸易自由化;贸易自由化对发明专利的促进作用显著地高于对实用新型以及外观设计专利的促进作用;企业的多产品生产、对高技术工人的需求以及加工贸易份额高低是贸易自由化影响企业创新知识宽度的影响机制。本文的研究为中国的对外开放战略、创新驱动发展战略与高质量发展战略提供了相关的政策依据。  相似文献

中国加入世界贸易组织(World Trade Organization,WTO)之后,对外贸易的总量增长与结构变动非常显著,这在推动国民经济快速发展的同时,也对环境效率产生了不可忽视的影响.首先运用Super-SBM模型测度了2001-2010年中国大陆各省份的环境效率值,再使用分位数回归分析了入世前后环境效率的影响因素,然后采用变系数省级面板数据模型检验了外贸进口和出口增长率对环境效率影响的空间特征.结果表明,入世以来,中国大陆各省份的对外贸易在一定程度上导致了环境效率整体不高,并呈略微下降的趋势;外贸对环境效率的影响在显著性、方向和力度等方面均呈现明显的空间异质性,东部一些贸易总额比较大的省份在环境保护方面处于领先地位.文章最后根据实证结论提出了相应的政策建议.  相似文献

在全球产业空间整合进程中,产业跨空间协同创新是一个新的挑战。本文基于知识异质性视角构建产业跨空间协同创新的理论框架。多样而异质的知识是产业跨空间协同创新的必要条件,共同知识基础与知识相对优势强化了这一条件。知识价值的空间非均衡是跨空间协同创新的基本动力,由知识缺口带来的潜在知识收益推动跨空间知识协同。基于系统论构建“制度协同-要素协同-结构协同-功能协同”的IFSF协同创新的系统路径,提出非知识要素协同、知识资产协同、知识结构协同以及功能优化协同的具体路径。  相似文献
