张之洞科技思想

张之洞是晚清新政改革的领袖人物,为适应中国近代社会发展和民族自强的需要,他在从事湖北地方近代化改革事业的过程中,提出了自己的科技思想。他主张破除传统观念的束缚,提倡“农工商学”;重视培养和选拔科技人才,积极发展近代化新式教育;吸收引进西方先进的农业科学技术,振兴中国传统农业。他的思想在今日中国也仍然是值得吸收借鉴的精神财富。

Can research on science learning and instruction inform standards for science education?

We contrast the current science education reform effort with the reforms of the 1960s and suggest how the current effort could be enhanced. We identify insights from recent research that we believe can inform the reform process, in particular, to reach all science students and also impart a cohesive view of science. We propose an alternative models view of scientific explanation and show how this view would contribute to reforms of (1) course goals, (2) social aspects of science learning, (3) instructional practices, and (4) roles for technology.This paper summarizes discussions and debates that the authors have had over the last few years. The dialogue stems, in part, from our joint participation in the American Educational Research Association Special Interest Group on Education in Science and Technology (AERA SIG:EST) leadership. 高等学校应为我国制造业的快速发展培养更多的专业人才

随着改革开放的不断深入,特别是我国进入WTO后,经济全球化的进程已成为一股不可阻挡的洪流,我国制造业必须努力进取,去适应国际通用的规则和规范的程序.在制造自动化技术方面,我国与国际上发达国家之间的差距还是比较大的,我们只有加快发展步伐,方能逐步赶上世界先进水平.如何从今天的制造大国走向明天的制造强国,这是值得我们深思的问题.作为高等学校,尤其是工科高校,为我国制造业的快速发展培养出更多的、合格的专业人才,这是我们义不容辞的责任.本文从我国制造业的现状出发,通过与国外先进制造技术的比较,找出我国制造业与世界先进水平之间存在的差距,明确今后发展的目标和重点,针对这些目标和重点,确定我们专业人才的培养方向,以及如何采取更为有效的教学手段,源源不断地培养出合格的专门化人才.     

现代教育技术,实施创新教育的有效途径

作为创新教育一部分的教育方法和手段创新以现代教育技术为依托，现代教育技术是创新教育的桥梁，它对创新教育的很多方面产生重要影响，运用现代教育技术是实施创新教育的有效途径。但我们在运用现代教育技术时还要注意到它的两面性。     

基因技术与人的自身改造

摘要基因科学的进展使人类得以在基因的层次上认识和改造人类自身，通过基因技术对人类自身进行改造的美妙前景给人类带来了巨大诱惑，然而由于生命本身的复杂性、科学方法本身的界限以及基因科学与技术本身还原论方法的缺陷，也使人类对自身的改造面临诸多不确定因素和风险。     

Disruptive silence: deepening experiential learning in the absence of technology

Technology plays an integral role in the lives of the majority of the US population. As technology becomes integrated into young people’s lives, questions arise regarding its effects on learning. This exploratory study draws on interviews with students who attend university in the United States to determine how separating students from technology deepens experiential learning. Participants were interviewed following a study abroad course to New Zealand, during which they were disconnected from technologies such as cell phones, the Internet and social media. In the interviews, students discussed their feelings of being disconnected and describe how disconnecting impacted their overall experience. Participants agreed that disconnecting from technology had positive effects on experiential learning and the global experience. Major themes that emerged include students’ enhanced immersion and engagement, the value of disconnection in providing opportunities for personal growth and the difficulty of initial separation from technology as a result of conditioning.     

教育技术与课程整合--教育改革的光明通途

在当前我国积极推进教育现代化、信息化的大背景下,倡导和探索教育技术与具体学科课程整合的教学,对于教育改革的成功进行,对于发展学生的"信息素养",培养学生的创新精神和实践能力,提高教师树立现代教育观念和掌握现代教育技术,改变传统的教学结构,提高教学效率和效益有着十分重要的现实意义.本文试以教育技术与课程整合为途径对现代教育改革的成功进行作分析和探讨.     

浅谈导学群的服务体系和技术环节的作用

导学群新概念的提出是我省电大开放教育新模式的教学服务理念,它的运行机制是围绕学生自主学习服务体系而构建的技术环节在导学群服务体系中起着非常重要的作用。
