网络虚拟实验中二进制数据的XML传输方法

网络虚拟实验中二进制数据的XML直接传输方法存在节点数目多,解析困难,不利于网络传输等问题.针对上述情况,采用XML的CDATA域封装的方法对二进制数据进行传输.为了解决由ASCII字符引起的语法错误以及CDATA域的异常结束问题,通过Base 64编码技术对二进制数据进行处理.通过一个虚实结合的球杆系统网络虚拟实验对上述方法进行了验证.     

An evaluation of outcomes following the replacement of traditional histology laboratories with self‐study modules

Changes in medical school curricula often require educators to develop teaching strategies that decrease contact hours while maintaining effective pedagogical methods. When faced with this challenge, faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine converted the majority of in‐person histology laboratory sessions to self‐study modules that utilize multiple audiovisual modalities and a virtual microscope platform. Outcomes related to this shift were investigated through performance on in‐house examinations, results of the United States Medical Licensing Examination^® (USMLE^®) Step 1 Examination, and student feedback. Medical School College Admissions Test^® (MCAT^®) scores were used as a covariate when comparing in‐house examinations. Results revealed no significant change in performance on in‐house examinations when the content being assessed was controlled (F(2, 506) = 0.676, P = 0.51). A significant improvement in overall practical examination grade averages was associated with the self‐study modules (F(6, 1164) = 10.213, P < 0.01), but gradual changes in examination content may explain this finding. The histology and cell biology portion of USMLE Step 1 Examination remained consistent throughout the time period that was investigated. Student feedback regarding the self‐study modules was positive and suggested that features such as instructor narrated videos were an important component of the self‐study modules because they helped recreate the experience of in‐person laboratory sessions. Positive outcomes from the student perspective and no drop in examination performance suggests that utilizing self‐study modules for histology laboratory content may be an option for educators faced with the challenge of reducing contact hours without eliminating content. 虚拟科技创新团队科研合作效率的实证研究

 虚拟科技创新团队的科研合作效率是团队管理者普遍关注的问题。运用DEA模型的视窗分析和相关分析,将经费设施、人力资本、制度保障作为投入指标,合作深度、合作广度、合作提高为产出指标,以16个虚拟科技创新团队2004-2009年的调研数据为样本,对团队科研合作效率变化趋势、稳定性和影响因素进行研究。结果表明,随着合作时间的延长,团队科研合作的总体效率（TE）、纯技术效率（PE）具有波动上升的趋势,规模效率（SE）不存在明显的规律性,各团队效率稳定性存在较大差异;要提高SE应该从提高经费设施的相对产出入手,要提高PE应该从提高人力资本的相对产出入手,制度保障对TE、PE和SE都有影响,团队应在完善制度的基础上进行“有序扩张”。     

A virtual learning environment for the continuation of education and its relationship with the mental well-being of chronically ill adolescents

Research has shown that the continuation of education by chronically ill adolescents is an important way to avoid social isolation, psychosocial problems and the accumulation of learning difficulties. In this light, virtual learning environments (VLEs), which connect sick adolescents to their schools, play an important role in ensuring that the sick adolescents continue their education, and in contributing to their mental well-being. This study investigated the extent to which a VLE supports the continuation of education and school interactions among sick adolescents and how it is related to their mental well-being. The results show that the VLE had a positive impact on supporting the continuation of education and school interactions among chronically sick adolescents and was considered very helpful to their mental well-being.

介绍了国内7种典型网上虚拟参考咨询项目运行的情况。并以此,提出了国内网上图书馆虚拟参考咨询项目运行的一些合理性建议。包括加强队伍建设,重视非实时型;分析图书馆效益,慎重考虑实时型虚拟参考咨询;加强协作力度及协作规范化等,以期推动虚拟参考咨询服务可持续发展。

虚拟社区的形成有助于超越空间的局限以加强社会成员之间的团结与归属,但如果在虚拟空间中个体行为没有规范的约束,也可能造成对共同体成员的情感与利益伤害。虚拟社区更多地从社会情感方面增强社会凝聚力,这为加强大学生思想政治教育提供了重要启示。在网络思想政治教育中,应遵循内容引导、媒介推动和以学生为本的思想政治教育原则,提高大学生群体对共产主义理想信念、高尚道德情操的认同与归属感,从而提高思想政治教育的有效性。
