以重要建筑边界安全为例简述景观基础设施在防恐安全中的应用

恐怖袭击是欧美景观规划设计中新近出现的议题,而目前国内对这一领域的探索基本处于空白状态。随着国际恐怖威胁的逐渐蔓延和国内不稳定势力活动频繁的趋势,研究景观基础设施在防恐中的应用显得越来越有必要。本文以重要建筑物边界安全为例,探讨了在防恐安全（尤其是汽车炸弹）中的景观规划设计的总体思路与对策,并且提出了一系列实用的设计方法。基于长期规范化设计的考虑提出了一些新的概念,为未来相关规范的制定提供参考。

本文结合历史事实,把高适的《燕歌行》放在盛唐大时代背景之下进行观照,澄清了讽刺说,认为此诗不是为讽刺边将而作,并运用美学理论进行分析,指出此诗成功地于悲壮之中穿插了优美的勾勒,从而成为不朽之作。     

The Island Frontier: Socotra,Sri Lanka and the Shape of Commerce in the Late Antique Western Indian Ocean

ABSTRACT

The islands of Sri Lanka and Socotra c. 200–700 provide a useful comparison, both with each other and with islands in the Late Antique and medieval Mediterranean. Using the analytical framework of frontiers as a comparative tool, this study proposes using the parameters of scale and proximity in order to evaluate where the frontier(s) of an island lay (along the shoreline or within an island space, sometimes both) and the difficulty or ease of controlling them from inside or outside the island. In its results, this analysis allows for change over time, but also establishes the diachronic effect of physical parameters. It offers a new way through the insular dichotomy of isolation versus connectivity and indicates a particularity of Mediterranean islands. This exploratory approach also sheds new light on an embargo established in ancient Socotra, suggesting it to have been a much shorter-lived phenomenon than previously speculated.     

Exploring the cross-country gap in patenting: A Stochastic Frontier Approach

This paper benchmarks the patent activities of a sample of OECD countries against the world frontier and explores the sources of the cross-country differences in patenting (regarded as a proxy for innovation). A patent production frontier is estimated for a panel of 21 OECD countries over the 1990-2002 period using Stochastic Frontier Analysis. Patenting performance for each country is decomposed into basic patenting capacity and patenting efficiency. The gap between Europe and the world leaders in terms of basic patenting capacity remains substantial with little sign of convergence over the sample period. In terms of patenting efficiency, Japan, Germany and Italy have improved their relative position in recent years. The gap in patenting performance between the UK and the world frontier is due to relative underperformance in both patenting capacity and efficiency in patent production. Institutional factors are found to be significantly associated with the patenting efficiency of an economy.

美国著名大学图书情报专业研究进展

采用Spss19.0和CitespaceIII分析工具,借助SCI数据库平台,论文对2012年美国图书情报专业排名[1]前30的大学近十年科研情况进行分析,归纳了六个前沿主题研究方向（用户研究、知识共享（博客）、健康素养、信息检索、编目及索引、可视化）和十个热点研究包括信息检索、图书馆学、公共图书馆、参考咨询服务、信息技术、知识管理、电子政务、虚拟团队、文献计量及电子商务,梳理了十年间美国图书情报专业的科研现状。     

Empowerment, Constraint, and the Entrepreneurial Self: A Study of White Women Entrepreneurs

Discourses of entrepreneurship and research on women entrepreneurs have proliferated in the last two decades. This study argues that a particular conception of an entrepreneurial self underlies much literature on women entrepreneurs and their empowerment, and identifies several key assumptions of this entrepreneurial self. The study then assesses the motivations and experiences of several white women entrepreneurs in a northwestern state in the United States, finding that aspects of the entrepreneurial self are most evident in the reasons that women provide about why they became entrepreneurs. However, the experiences the women narrate reveal a more constraints-centered discourse, which features a particular interpretation of the frontier myth of the American West, and bears traces of an emergent, collective notion of empowerment. The authors explain such empowerment from critical and feminist perspectives, offering the concept of bounded empowerment as a lens through which to examine entrepreneurship and gender, and discussing its practical implications.     

抗日战争时期彭桂萼对澜沧江流域的研究——以《西南边疆》载文为例

1938年10月创办的《西南边疆》是抗战时期有影响的西南边疆少数民族研究刊物，在出版的18期刊物里，彭桂萼发表的5篇论文，均是在调查研究获取第一手材料的基础上撰写的，阐述真实客观，分析深刻入理，对研究云南地方历史、经济、民族教育、布朗族文化和傣族文化等提供了难得的资料，具有较高的学术价值，为中华民族的神圣抗战做出了重要的贡献。
