Effect of latent iron deficiency on GABA and glutamate neuroreceptors in rat brain

Eight weeks of latent iron deficiency in weaned female rats of Sprague Dawley strain maintained on experimental low-iron diet (18–20 mg/kg) did not significantly change the gross body, weight and tissue weights of brain and liver. Packed cell volume (PCV) and hemoglobin concentration remained unaltered. However, non-heme iron content in liver and brain decreased significantly (p<0.001). The activities of glutamate dehydrogenase, glutamic acid decarboxylase, and GABA-transaminase (GABA-T) in brain decreased by 15%, 11.4% and 25.7% respectively. However, this decrease was not statistically significant. Binding of³H Muscimol at pH 7.5 and 1 mg protein/assay increased by 143% (p<0.001) in synaptic vesicular membranes from iron-deficient rats as compared to the controls.³H glutamate binding to the synaptic vesicles was also carried out under similar condition. However, the L-glutamate binding was reduced by 63% in the vesicular membranes of iron deficient animals. These studies indicate that iron plays important functional role in both excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitter receptors.     

Meso-四-(3-5-二溴4-羟基苯)卟啉分光光度法测食品中铅含量

以食品为对象,研究了铅与Meso-四-(3-5-二溴-4-羟基苯)卟啉[T(DBHP)P]的配合反应,并对于溶液pH值、加热时间、表面活性剂用量、显色剂用量等对配合物的生成及稳定性的影响进行了探究,确定反应的最佳条件.经试验,当8-羟基喹啉存在时,铅在碱性条件下可与T(DBHP)P反应生成1:2的橙黄色化合物.该化合物在479 nm处有较强的吸收,当铅含量在0～12 μg/mL时,测得的曲线呈线性关系,服从比尔定律,重复性较好.经分光光度计测出其吸光度,绘制标准工作曲线,计算出铅的含量.结果表明:本实验所采用方法简便快速、安全,对环境污染小,且灵敏度较高,选择性较好,样品不需要分离出干扰离子,只需加入掩蔽剂即可消除钙离子和铁离子的影响.将该方法用于测定食品中铅的含量,取得了较满意的效果.     

基于非交换剩余格的（α,β]-模糊滤子（上）

对BL-代数的（∈,∈∨q）-模糊滤子和（∈,∈∨q）-模糊滤子进行了较为细致的研究,首先,在非交换剩余上首次引入了（α,β]-模糊滤子的概念,将非交换剩余格上的模糊滤子,（∈,∈∨q）-模糊滤子和（∈,∈∨q）-模糊滤子纳入到（α,β]-模糊滤子体系之中;其次,在非交换剩余上引入了生成（α,β]-模糊滤子的概念,给出了一般模糊子集生成（α,β]-模糊滤子的方法,指出了一个非交换剩余格上全体（α,β]-模糊滤子之集构成一个完备格,并证明了在α=0的情况下格的分配性成立.

金属配合物与DNA的弱相互作用研究——一个新的本科综合实验

本文介绍了一个新的本科生综合实验。实验内容包括合成配合物[Cu（bipy）2]Cl2,通过元素分析、IR光谱、UV—Vsib1e光谱、热分析、电导率测量对其进行表征,并利用紫外一可见光谱、荧光光谱、粘度和循环伏安方法研究其与DNA的相互作用。本实验可使学生接触到生物无机化学的一个热点领域。     

消化道恶性肿瘤雌孕激素受体与癌胚抗原的相关性研究

利用酶联素和组化法和ABC免疫组化法进行88例消化道恶性肿瘤的雌激素受体(ER)、孕激素受体(PR)和癌胚抗原(CEA)的相关性研究。结果表明:(1)ER、PR水平与组织学分级呈负相关性。(2)低分化腺癌CEA阳性率最高,且淋巴结转移者CEA均为阳性,提示CEA与肿瘤的恶性度呈正相关。因此性激素受体和CEA提供了肿瘤组织不同的生物学信息,同时检测ER、PR及CEA水平对分泌治疗,手术范围及判断预后更有价值。     

酰胺型杯[6]芳烃聚合物合成及阳离子吸附性能

通过杯[6]芳烃六乙酸乙酯与多乙烯多胺进行氨解反应,合成了系列酰胺型杯[6]芳烃聚合物,它们对软金属离子具有较高的吸附容量,其吸附能力与聚合物中杯芳烃的含量成正比,在吸附过程中杯芳烃单元起决定性作用．     

An Interview with Fiona French

In this interview Fiona French discusses her work and career with David Lewis. She describes early influences and stresses her lifelong love of colour and pattern. Amongst other themes she considers the factual basis of most of her books and her lack of interest in fantasy; her preference for clear, simple prose; her constant shifts in style and approach and the increasing freedom of expression she has developed over a long career. David Lewis has been a primary school teacher, educational researcher and teacher trainer. He has written numerous articles on children's picturebooks and is the author of Reading Contemporary Picturebooks: Picturing Text. He is a member of the UK editorial board of Children's Literature in Education.
