Pioneer whiteness meets “multicultural” whiteness in farm communities in Washington state

Emphasizing symbolic/material intersections, I employ a spatial approach to contextualize whiteness in migrant farm communities in Washington state. Specifically, I argue that white identity is not detached from physical settings, but evolves in relationship to others in these concrete, but symbolically constructed, locations. Utilizing observations, interviews, and ethnographic mapping, I discuss how participants’ spatial narratives elucidate pioneer and “multicultural” expressions of whiteness. The citation of an agricultural ethos also pervades discourses of whiteness in this community. These specific articulations signal the resiliency of whiteness to morph in response to perceived threats to its position and assuage anxiety over demographic changes.     

我国优秀女子20km竞走运动员后半程竞走技术的三维运动学研究

运用三维录像解析法、数理统计法、对比分析法等方法对我国优秀女子20km竞走选手后半程竞走技术进行研究,以田径理论和生物力学知识为基础,对所得数据与世界优秀选手对比分析。结果得出：我国选手在身体重心上下位移、蹬伸角度及肩髋扭转角等参数方面,与世界优秀水平相比,均存在显著性差异。蹬伸用力效果差是造成这种技术表现的致因所在。     

Uncovering the Hidden Power of Language: Critical Race Theory,Critical Language Socialization and Multicultural Families in Korea

This study utilizes critical race theory and critical language socialization to unpack embedded ideologies regarding language usage and immigrant wives’ heritage language transmission within multicultural families in Korea. Specifically, this study unveils hidden structures and beliefs which hinder or promote immigrant women’s use of heritage languages, and its intergenerational transmission. According to Sizemore, the language used by various ethnic group members often reflects their interethnic relationships. Exploring Asian female immigrants’ experiences of marginalization in Korea, this study uncovers the complex interethnic relationship among Asians, as well as show how immigrant wives’ language usage reflects power relations within Korea.     

An Introduction to Intercultural Communication: Identities in a Global Community (6th Edition)

By covering underrepresented areas in the world, Al Jazeera English (AJE) can facilitate intercultural understanding among Americans. However, AJE is not widely available on television in the United States. Further, many Americans hold pre-formed suspicions of the channel. Through an online experiment, we find that pre-reception audience bias against AJE exists and correlates with prejudice against Arab Americans, limiting its conciliatory potential. However, Americans can change their views toward AJE depending on how it is covered by other media, or what we call “intermedia framing,” including both satiric soft news and hard news. An experiment finds that satiric news coverage decreases anti-Arab American prejudice and, when combined with exposure to AJE, elevates evaluations of the network.     

探讨建立短跑途中跑后蹬、摆腿、着地缓冲的合理技术模式

人们的运动不是一个静态的过程,而是一个连续的不可分割的动态过程,所以我们在进行技术动作研究就应从整体上去进行。本文基于这一角度考虑,通过文献资料法,对比分析法和运动生物力学分析法探讨建立后蹬、摆腿与前扒着地缓冲的合理技术模式,为广大体育教师和教学和教练员、运动员的训练提供可行性参考。     

对普通中学女生800m耐久跑教学效果的探讨

本文根据普通中学女生耐力素质较差的现状,采用教学实验法对800m耐力跑的教学效果进行了初步的研究。结果显示:注重理论教学和科学的练习手段相结合,改革教学与训练方法,加强学生的心理指导,提高自我锻炼能力是提高800m耐久跑教学效果的有效途径。     

我国20km竞走项目体能训练现况及未来训练走向研究

从20 km竞走项目的本质属性、特点及其训练理念入手,对我国20 km竞走的体能训练进行研究。认为,我国20km竞走项目体能训练问题表现在理论研究与训练行为两个层面。具体表现为：聚焦局部者多,整体探究者少;坐而论道者多,注重实证者少;训练行为抓小放大,缺乏系统观念;训练理念各异,负荷安排无章可循。在此基础上指出,突出体能属性,统一训练理念;细化体能结构,把握整体规律;贴近训练实践,注重实证分析;加强制度建设,促进沟通协作是我国20 km竞走项目体能训练的发展走向。     

跨栏教学中使用"软式跨栏架"的实验

根据在跨栏跑教学中学生对跨栏跑学习普遍存在的恐惧心理现象，进行了具有针对性地“软式跨栏架”的辅助教学实验，结果表明：“软式跨栏架”教法能有效地克服跨栏跑教学过程中学生对跨栏跑存在的恐惧心理，提高学习兴趣和效率，有助于学生掌握跨栏跑技术和提高运动成绩。     

以比赛规律安排周训练结构提高高校短跑运动员的比赛能力

现行的培养短跑运动员的比赛能力多是心理和比赛经验等方面进行训练,采用以大型田径比赛的赛制规律作为构建训练小周结构,以连续强度负荷与恢复相结合的课间训练节奏,来提高高校短跑运动员的比赛能力,可以达到良好的训练效果。     

试析影响竞走裁判员准确判罚的消极因素与防范

竞走项目裁判工作中,裁判员的判罚结果会受到多种因素的影响,尤其是心理方面的影响较大,加强对竞走裁判员在判罚中消极效应影响的研究,有效地防范消极因素对比赛的干扰,是使比赛得以顺利进行的重要保证.同时,对推动竞走运动水平的提高具有十分重要的意义.
