体育锻炼对少数民族大学生心理健康的影响

高校作为培养21世纪合格人才的"工厂",对大学生的成长培养和健康教育担负着十分重要的任务。专家对我国高校大学生心理健康状况调查表明,高校少数民族大学生不同程度存在心理健康问题,严重影响着少数民族大学生合格人才的培养。研究发现,通过体育锻炼能够促进高校少数民族大学生心理向健康方向发展。     

影响的焦虑：基于新媒介视角的阅读考察

新媒介对阅读产生了革命性影响,既有传播学、人学、文化学角度的直接影响,又有怎么读、为什么读两个方面的间接影响。我们可以尝试从读者层面、社会教育层面和媒介整合层面,来探讨如何消解新媒介对阅读的消极影响,并建构二者间的和谐关系。

Abstract

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health concerns in the United States and they tend to be among the most frequently reported in college mental health. While efficacious research for the psychotherapy treatment of specific anxiety disorders (e.g., social phobia, panic disorder, etc.) exists, the picture is more complex in clinical practice especially with students who are treated as a whole person, usually involving multiple co-existing disorders as well as normal developmental challenges of adjusting to college. This chapter reviews the evidenced-based research for anxiety disorders in both the general population and the college student population, as well as evidence for therapist/relationship factors. It examines the numerous challenges for conducting effectiveness studies in college mental health, suggestions for working with chronically anxious college students, and future directions for research and practice in this area.     

Heart Rate Variability as a Predictor of Speaking Anxiety

This study examines the relations among the perception of speaking anxiety and difficulties in emotion regulation with 2 measures of physiological activity: heart rate (HR) and heart rate variability (HRV). Results show significant changes in HR and state anxiety, but not HRV, among the 6 experimental conditions: quiet, reading in both sitting and standing positions, and speaking in both sitting and standing positions. HRV significantly and negatively correlated with difficulties in emotion regulation and HR, but not with public speaking apprehension (PSA) scores or state anxiety ratings. PSA scores, however, were significantly and positively correlated with state anxiety ratings. Results are interpreted in terms of the simultaneous, coordinated operation of physical reactions and emotional coping strategies.     

Communication Skills,Social Support,and Burnout among Advocates in a Domestic Violence Agency

Intimate partner violence affects millions of lives annually. Domestic violence advocates work to alleviate this problem; yet the nature of the work leaves them vulnerable to negative outcomes such as burnout. This study examined the relationships between communication anxiety, communication competence, perceived social support, and feelings of burnout among domestic violence advocates. Results from a survey of 69 individuals recruited from a US domestic violence agency show the combination of communication anxiety, communication competence, perceived emotional support, and perceived informational support accounted for approximately 13% of the variance in advocates' emotional exhaustion and 21% of the variance in advocates' experiences of reduced personal accomplishment. Responses also differ with the advocate's position in the agency. The following recommendations are offered: develop scenario-based communication skills training programs to reduce communication anxiety and increase communication competence, hold regular debriefing meetings to help advocates process their experiences and to receive peer support, and develop formalized mentoring programs that can provide social support for new workers.     

孤独症儿童父母社会支持与焦虑的关系研究

本文采用社会支持评定量表(SSRS)和焦虑自评量表(SAS)对54名孤独症儿童的父亲或母亲进行测量,探讨孤独症儿童父母社会支持与焦虑的关系。结果表明:孤独症儿童父母的社会支持与常模无显著差异,不同性别、文化程度在社会支持各维度上的得分也无显著差异;孤独症儿童父母的焦虑水平显著高于国内常模,不同性别、不同年龄阶段父母焦虑水平无显著差异;孤独症儿童父母社会支持与焦虑水平呈显著的负相关。
