历史研究是一切社会科学的基础

2018年1月3日,中国历史研究院成立。习近平总书记代表党中央致信祝贺。贺信特别强调了历史研究的重要价值。历史研究之所以重要,是因为“世界的今天是从世界的昨天发展而来的。     

无尽的苍凉--浅淡张爱玲《倾城之恋》中的悲剧色彩

《倾城之恋》中，张爱玲借助“男女间小事情”视角，透视了一个苍凉的大社会，特别是写出沪港大都会中已呈颓势的陈旧生活、道德观念与日渐浓重的资本化碰撞的情况，通过与金钱利害死死纠缠的男女婚姻的描写．揭示出金钱令女性沦为商品、又令她们成为商品的推销的可悲之处。在大团圆的“喜剧”背后，人们所感受到的却是浓浓的悲剧色彩。     

论《平凡的世界》的史诗性特征

重读《平凡的世界》,仍然有一种强烈的穿越感,作品所反映的社会生活内容依然能够唤醒我们沉睡的记忆,引发精神上的强烈震撼。《平凡的世界》之所以今天仍然能够力透纸背,层层扩散波光,让人读懂、读出社会历史内涵,其根本原因在于小说真正切入现实,以及作者的史诗性写作和作品的史诗性特征。小说书写的农村改革史、农民创业史和青年奋斗史正好体现了20世纪80年代社会、家庭、个人等层面的发展、成长的历史。作品由双水村、石圪节到黄原、铜城大牙湾,由农村到城市,反映出了一个时代整体的社会风貌,具有丰富的史诗性价值。     

增加值出口竞争力研究——基于新兴经济体样本

文章使用全球投入产出数据库(WIOD),对新兴经济体样本的增加值出口和新显示性比较优势指数进行测算和分析。研究发现,近年来新兴经济体相对于发达国家出口竞争力强劲,贸易实力提升显著。细分至行业,新兴经济体在第一产业中具有绝对优势,在第二产业的低端和中低端中具备竞争力,在第三产业方面,新兴经济体在传统服务业中具备一定的优势,但在高新技术服务业不具备竞争力。因此,在保留、强化和创新现有竞争优势的同时,新兴经济体仍需要大力发展高端制造业和新型服务业,增加产品科技含量。     

台湾文学研究前沿问题(笔谈)

本专辑集中讨论了台湾文学研究的一系列前沿问题:当前台湾文学的主流;“重写台湾文学史”;台湾文学的史料发掘的意义;祖国大陆台湾文学研究的现状与新空间的展开;“现代性”与台湾文学研究;分析台湾文论的后结构转型及其影响;提出从文本的语言形态进入日据时期台湾文学研究的理念。

通过对n皇后问题解的等效性分析,设计一个产生其不等效解以及由不等效解构造出与其等效的其他所有解的有效算法,并用C程序编程实现。     

Setting the Stage and Keeping Sane: Implementing ArchivesSpace at the University of Minnesota

As the University of Minnesota's Archives and Special Collections began the daunting task of migrating into ArchivesSpace over 5,000 finding aids from fifteen different units, a clearly defined workflow provided clarity and success. This article outlines how staff developed an implementation timeline and workflow, harnessed support from partners in IT, provided training, and what the benchmarks to success were. By sharing this well-documented and thought-out implementation workflow, it can provide guidance as others try to navigate the many moving parts of implementing new collection management technology.     

农业国际化竞争对中国农业的影响与对策

面对经济全球化引发的农业国际化竞争带来的机遇和挑战 ,并针对中国农业发展中存在的主要问题 ,提出 :中国农业发展需要坚持市场化的改革 ,才能适应当今农业国际化竞争的形势。这是艰巨的、复杂的、系统的工程 ,是全方位的工作。为此 ,要在土地使用制度与户籍管理等诸多方面进行一系列的创新 ,以提高中国农业的国际竞争力。     

Using Google Forms to track library space usage

This article is a response to the excellent “Using Mobile Technology to Observe Student Study Behaviors and Track Library Space Usage” by Susan Thompson. Thompson reviews the literature regarding user counts on mobile devices and describes the California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) Library's evaluation of SUMA, Counter+, and CloudOn. After trialing these mobile technologies, CSUSM selected CloudOn. At New York University Abu Dhabi, we use Google Forms to conduct user counts on an iPad and Google Sheets to evaluate these data. We find that Google Forms are easy to set up, modify as necessary, and present the data in easy-to-manipulate spreadsheets.     

Teaching Them to Teach: Programmatic Evaluation of Graduate Assistants’ Teaching Performance

Academic libraries are one of the most important sources of “on the job” training for future library instructors. Librarians who supervise and assess these future library instructors (often in graduate assistant positions) often choose to provide observations and feedback each semester to these instructors in training. Scholarly literature, however, provides little information on whether this system helps graduate assistants to develop as teachers. The authors of this article assessed graduate assistants’ performance as teachers over three semesters using a system of observation and self-assessment. They analyzed both patterns and areas of growth and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of this system.
