对我国高校一些办学误区的分析及思考

近几年来,伴随着高等教育的不断扩招和升级,在实际运行过程中暴露出许多深层次的问题,出现一些办学误区。本文拟从对高校办学误区存在的现象及认识原因进行分析,对我国高校今后的发展进行了一些思考。     

浅议我国中医药事业面临的困境与出路

当前,我国国内围绕着中医药的去留问题掀起了争论的高潮.中医药与整个社会的经济、文化以及国民群体有着紧密的联系.应积极加强医学伦理中的医德教育,进一步规范医药市场的制度建设和人才队伍建设,从而使我国的中医药事业得到振兴与发展.     

试论新形势下如何加强高校青年教工思想政治工作

文章针对新形势下青年教工队伍中存在的新问题及青年教工思想政治工作中出现的新情况,从更新思想观念、改进工作方法和创新工作内容等三个方面提出举措,以此加强新形势下高校青年教工思想政治工作.     

Ethnicity vs. national culture in one nationalized educational site: the case of the annual school trip

This study examines the interface between ethnicity and nationality in a nationalized educational site – the annual school trip – that took place in a Jewish high school in Israel that serves underprivileged ethnic groups. Based on ethnographic field work, I analyze how the Ashkenazi (central-eastern European origin) hegemonic national culture that is embedded in the field trip is worked out by the Mizrahi (Asian and north African origin) students, in light of their ethnic background and the ethnic Ashkenazi/Mizrahi division that characterizes the Israeli society. Although both groups share the same national sentiment, the analysis exposes the different ways the pedagogical practices used by the trip represented the national hegemonic culture and the ways it has been contested and reshaped along ethnic lines while reflecting the existing ethnic borders that the pupils were trying to widen.     

高校学生有意欠费的心理分析及对策研究——兼论大学生诚信教育

随着社会经济成份、组织形式、利益关系等日益多样化,人们的思想观念、思维方式和价值取向也日益呈现出多元的发展趋向,尤其是受社会不良风气的影响,大学校园里也充斥着许多虚伪丑陋的现象,大学生有意欠费之风便是其中之一。本文从大学生有意欠费的心理因素入手进行分析,研究少数大学生有意欠费现象,并就大学生的诚信教育问题谈一些初浅的看法。     

论文化素质教育的基础作用

文化素质作为人的重要素质之一 ,其基础作用是可以帮助大学生学会做人 ,学会做事 ;而做人与做事两者中更重要的是做人。在科技高速发展和大力发展社会主义市场经济的时代 ,作为一名大学生其人生观尤显重要。而文化素质教育在这方面的作用是其他教育无法替代的。     

论贾谊对儒家思想的继承和发展

在我国历史上,英年早逝而能赢得“汉初著名政论家、思想家、文学家”之称的贾谊,是位不多见的人物。观其创作,贾谊在民本思想、“仁”的思想、教育思想等几个方面都对儒家思想有所继承和发展,为董仲舒建立新的儒学体系打下了良好基础。贾谊是促成儒学思想成为国学思想的第一奠基人。     

关于现代高师音乐教育改革的思考

根据长期的教学实践,社会调查和一些专题研究,对师范类院校的音乐教育目前存在的危机和现状进行了分析并提出以“两个负责态度”进行教育改革。     

Paired peer learning through engineering education outreach

ABSTRACT

Undergraduate education incorporating active learning and vicarious experience through education outreach presents a critical opportunity to influence future engineering teaching and practice capabilities. Engineering education outreach activities have been shown to have multiple benefits; increasing interest and engagement with science and engineering for school children, providing teachers with expert contributions to engineering subject knowledge, and developing professional generic skills for engineers such as communication and teamwork. This pilot intervention paired 10 pre-service teachers and 11 student engineers to enact engineering outreach in primary schools, reaching 269 children. A longitudinal mixed methods design was employed to measure change in attitudes and Education Outreach Self-Efficacy in student engineers; alongside attitudes, Teaching Engineering Self-Efficacy and Engineering Subject Knowledge Confidence in pre-service teachers. Highly significant improvements were noted in the pre-service teachers’ confidence and self-efficacy, while both the teachers and engineers qualitatively described benefits arising from the paired peer mentor model.     

Predicting transition and adjustment to college: biomedical and behavioral science aspirants’ and minority students’ first year of college

The purpose of this study is to explore key factors that impact the college transition of aspiring underrepresented minority students in the biomedical and behavioral sciences, in comparison with White, Asian students and non-science minority students. We examined successful management of the academic environment and sense of belonging during the first college year. Longitudinal data were derived from the Higher Education Research Institute’s (HERI) 2004 Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Freshman Survey and the 2005 Your First College Year (YFCY) Survey. Using a reformulation of the integration model (Nora, Barlow, and Crisp, 2005), we find concerns about college financing, negotiating family support and responsibility, and campus racial dynamics (perceived and behavioral) affect student adjustment and sense of integration in the first year.
