国家社会科学基金项目体育学课题选题实证分析研究

为体育科学发展"十二五"规划的制定以及新的课题指南提供参考,文章以全国哲学社会科学规划办公室官方网站发布的1997-2010年体育学国家社科立项项目为依据,对其立项特征进行分析.结果显示:国家社会科学基金共资助体育学立项542项,年均38.7项."九五"期间年均15.75项,"十一五"期间年均62项;"九五"到"十一五"期间课题立项在10项以上的有17个省区和单位;从"九五"到"十一五"期间,随着社会各项事业的不断快速发展,体育美研究专题中体育事业、体育法学、民族传统体育、体育文化、学校体育等项目立项数量呈现运步增长的态势;体育学社科基金课题指南立项率由"九五"期间的67%,到"十五"的87%,再到"十一五"的93%;"九五"到"十一五"期间,体育学国家社科基金课题指南导向率达到79%;课题指南与立项项目相似度76%.结果说明:国家繁荣富强,为体育发展带来了前所未有的时代契机,国家社科基金课题指南对体育科学发展具有重要指导作用.     

《全运会信息专刊》为内蒙古自治区备战第11届全运会服务的研究

运用文献资料法、数理统计法及实地访谈法对《全运会信息专刊》为内蒙古备战第11届全运会进行了分析。从多个维度剖析《专刊》服务性的基本特征与作用。《专刊》服务性的基本特征表现为：信息化、决策化、基础化、专业化、科学化。据此提出《专刊》＂信息保驾护航＂的重要服务效应。     

Subsidy and networking: The effects of direct and indirect support programs of the cluster policy

Industrial clusters have attracted considerable attention worldwide for their expected contribution to regional innovation. Recently, policymakers in various countries have developed specific cluster policies. However, there exist few empirical studies on cluster policies. Focusing on the Industrial Cluster Project (ICP) in Japan initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2001, we address two research questions on the support programs of the cluster policies: if the project participants who exploit various support programs are more successful in network formation within the cluster than others, and which kind of support program contributes to firm performance. We pay special attention to the differences between direct R&D support and indirect networking/coordination support. The estimation results, which are based on recent original survey data, suggest that cluster participants who exploit support programs (especially indirect support measures) expand the industry-university-government network after participating in the ICP. Moreover, we find that not every support program contributes to firm performance; firms should therefore select the program that is most aligned with their aims. Indirect support programs have an extensive and strong impact on output whereas direct R&D support has only a weak effect.     

What can we do to support reading for young adolescent students?

Young adolescents are at a critical stage in their schooling. They are consolidating and improving their reading skills. By exploring what supports these 11- to 13-year-old students in reading from a wider systemic perspective, educators and policy-makers can better understand the complex factors which support reading development. This article presents a conceptual framework model to illustrate how teachers, principals and wider support agencies can effectively interact with the students and their parents. The framework highlights the impacting roles of ministries of education, governmental policies, and how study at postgraduate level can support reading development for these young adolescents.

澳大利亚共产党是澳大利亚重要的左翼力量之一,也是世界社会主义运动不可分割的一部分。澳大利亚共产党的第十一次全国代表大会,对当前的世界政治形势进行了深刻的剖析,指出：当今世界政治多极化的趋势已日渐清晰,其主要表现是美国支配世界的企图面临重大挑战和世界人民的反帝斗争取得了重大胜利;帝国主义国家的霸权主义政策、许多危险的战争爆发点以及帝国主义国家的军事工业依然在威胁着世界政治局势的稳定;中国和古巴等社会主义国家取得了举世公认的新成就,世界社会主义运动在总体上进入一个新的阶段。澳大利亚共产党十一大的分析为我们研究当前世界形势和世界社会主义运动的发展态势提供了一个新的视角。     

Design on general development platform for FPD systems

In this paper, a multi-functional development platform for flat panel display (FPD) development is proposed. With the proposed development platforms, a variety of FPD devices, including organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens, liquid crystal display (LCD) screens with touchscreens, OLED microdisplay screens, etc., can be directly and instantly connected, examined and utilized. A field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is used in the development system to drive different types of FPD devices, and ARM11 S3C6410 is used as the application processor to provide various services. The development system uses Linux as the system kernel, Qt for Embedded Linux as the UI framework, various system libraries for video and audio services, and a custom-made user engine for fine-polished appearance and behavior. The development platform has been used not only in testing and verification of the FPD devices, but also in building OLED-powered handheld digital devices, shortening the development cycle from OLED devices to mature application products.     

Communication,Liminality, and Hope: The September 11th Missing Person Posters

Immediately following the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, family and friends of victims missing in the towers began placing “Missing Person Posters” of their loved ones around New York City. In this paper, we argue that the posters represent a powerful response to a traumatic and in some ways unprecedented situation, a response that transformed the death of loved ones from a reality or future certainty into a probability made possible by the searchers' desire, emotions, or imagination. We demonstrate how the posters, operating in the “subjunctive” voice, transformed the “liminal” space between life and death and “haunted” onlookers, so that survivors and spectators alike could ponder the possibilities of a world that would “hopefully” turn out for the best. We also consider the implications of the posters for those who were unable to acknowledge the loss of their loved ones.     

Comparing the Clinton and Dole advertising campaigns: Identification and division in 1996 presidential television spots

This study investigates televised spots by Clinton and Dole in 1996. It extends Burke's concept of identification (positive messages) to include attempts to create division (attacks), and explores the rhetorical and textual bases of these appeals. Burke's concept of identification, as operationalized here, permits insights into the nature of these spots that cannot be obtained from traditional analyses of advertisements. Surprisingly for political discourse, neither candidate used explicit identification. The incumbent Clinton used more identification than challenger Dole, who used more division. Clinton attempted to use policy more than Dole, whereas Dole focused more on character. Both campaigns attempted to identify and divide through association with groups and individuals.     

The acute effects of vibration stimulus following FIFA 11+ on agility and reactive strength in collegiate soccer players

PurposeThe aim of this study was to assess the effects of combining the FIFA 11+ and acute vibration training on reactive strength index (RSI) and 505 agility.MethodsSeventy-four male collegiate soccer players took part in the study and were randomly assigned to FIFA 11+ with acute vibration group (FIFA + WBV), FIFA 11+ with isometric squat group (FIFA + IS) or a control group consisting of the FIFA 11+ alone (Con). The warm-up consisted of the FIFA 11+ and was administered to all participants. The participants in the acute vibration group were exposed to 30 s whole body vibration in squat position immediately post warm-up. The isometric group completed an isometric squat for 30 s immediately post warm-up.ResultsRSI significantly improved pre- to post-intervention amongst FIFA + WBV (p < 0.001) due to a decrease in contact time (p < 0.001) in comparison to FIFA + IS and Con, but 505 agility was not affected.ConclusionThe results of this study suggest the inclusion of an acute bout of WBV post FIFA 11+ warm-up produces a neuromuscular response leading to an improvement in RSI. Future research is required to examine the exact mechanisms behind these improvements amongst other populations and over time course of the performance.     

Family background variables as instruments for education in income regressions: A Bayesian analysis

The validity of family background variables instrumenting education in income regressions has been much criticized. In this paper, we use data from the 2004 German Socio-Economic Panel and Bayesian analysis to analyze to what degree violations of the strict validity assumption affect the estimation results. We show that, in case of moderate direct effects of the instrument on the dependent variable, the results do not deviate much from the benchmark case of no such effect (perfect validity of the instrument's exclusion restriction). In many cases, the size of the bias is smaller than the width of the 95% posterior interval for the effect of education on income. Thus, a violation of the strict validity assumption does not necessarily lead to results which are strongly different from those of the strict validity case. This finding provides confidence in the use of family background variables as instruments in income regressions.
