Interpretation of the separate WPPSI tests for boys and girls at three age levels

The aim was to aid the clinician's interpretation of the six Verbal and five Performance tests constituting the WPPSI. Analyses were conducted for separate groups of boys and girls at ages $\text{4?4}\text{1}\text{2}$, $\text{5?5}\text{1}\text{2}$, and $\text{6?6}\text{1}\text{2}$ to determine the amount of specificity (reliable unique variance) for each test. Test specificity provides empirical evidence either for or against interpreting the specific traits or abilities that are presumed to be measured by a particular test. Most WPPSI tests were found to have enough specificity to warrant specific clinical interpretation for boys and girls across the age range. The clinical implications of the results are discussed.

Based on experience in imparting such instruction and analysis to teaching labs as well as larger laboratories, some immediately relevant ideas are put together here. While the ideas may appear simple, there is danger in thinking that the underlying statistical theory is also simple, which is often not the case. But even without the relevant theory, much can be achieved in the lab.

实时BIA技术对蛋白A与免疫球蛋白G相互作用的研究

应用实时BIA技术,探讨了蛋白A与小鼠免疫球蛋白G (MIgG)之间的相互作用,求出相互作用的动力学速率常数ka=5.07×10⁴ (mol/L)^-1s^-1,kd=9.65×10^-5(s^-1),结合常数KA=5.25×10⁸(mol/L)^-1.同时使用蛋白A固定的传感片用于MIgG浓度的检测,在 0.64～ 12mg/L浓度区间内,MIgG的响应值与其浓度有非常好的线性关系.
