粘土力学强度分层中的模糊数学模型

本文依据宁波北仑港海上大量的粘性土工程地质勘察资料和土工试验数据,以传统地质分层为背景,力学强度分层为目标,建立了一套模糊数学评判模型,并用计算机进行数据处理,定量地划分了粘性土的力学强度。     

中国区域经济差异的实证研究

区域经济发展不可能实行“大推进战略”，这必然会导致区域差异的产生。用何种标准来衡量区域差异程度，至今仍是学术界讨论的一个热点。分析威廉姆逊的“倒U字”模型并将其运用于中国的情况，结果发现它并不能反映中国国内各区域的差异程度，所以试图重新构建一个模型，运用十个指标来综合反映区域差异程度，并在此基础上，提出解决区域差异的政策建议。     

A comparison of generalizability theory and many-facet Rasch measurement in an analysis of college sophomore writing

A pilot study was conducted to evaluate and improve the rating procedure proposed for use in a research effort designed to assess the essay writing ability of college sophomores.Generalizability theory and the Many-Facet Rasch Model were each used to (a) estimate potential sources of error in the rating, (b) to obtain reliability estimates, and (c) to make recommendations for improving the rating process. Variance due to Task (writing prompt) and the Person-by-Task interaction were high while the variance attributable to Raters and Occasion was low. Twenty-two percent of the variability in the ratings was unexplained. The common and unique features of generalizability theory and the Many-Facet Rasch Model are described, and the advantages and disadvantages of each are discussed.     

Rating scale instruments and measurement

The article examines theoretical issues associated with measurement in the human sciences and ensuring data from rating scale instruments are measures. An argument is made that using raw scores from rating scale instruments for subsequent arithmetic operations and applying linear statistics is less preferable than using measures. These theoretical matters are then illustrated by a report on the application of the Rasch Rating Scale Model in an investigation into elementary school classroom learning culture.     

Video segmentation using Maximum Entropy Model

Detecting objects of interest from a video sequence is a fundamental and critical task in automated visual surveillance. Most current approaches only focus on discriminating moving objects by background subtraction whether or not the objects of interest can be moving or stationary. In this paper, we propose layers segmentation to detect both moving and stationary target objects from surveillance video. We extend the Maximum Entropy （ME） statistical model to segment layers with features, which are collected by constructing a codebook with a set ofcodewords for each pixel. We also indicate how the training models are used for the discrimination of target objects in surveillance video. Our experimental results are presented in terms of the success rate and the segmenting precision.

以温度为基础的稻纵卷叶螟发育模拟模型

通过5种温度(19℃,22℃,25℃,28℃,31℃)处理观察稻纵卷叶螟(Cnaphalocrocismedinalis Guenee)各虫态的发育及卵的孵化时间分布:用SIGMOID函数模拟该虫在不同温度下的发育率;用发育频数累积曲线描述卵的孵化时间分布.这两个模型都能比较精确地描述卷叶螟以温度为基础的发育动态.
