Changing research trends in the field of archaeological wood at the Conservation Department,Faculty of Archaeology,Cairo University

Abstract

Since 1980, much research in the field of treatment and conservation of archaeological wood has been carried out at the Conservation Department, Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University. Materials and methods used in conservation have been changing gradually over the years worldwide. It was necessary to study critically previous masters and doctoral dissertations on Egyptian archaeological and historic wood, all written in Arabic. This review of them includes a brief history of the Conservation Department at Cairo University and five main focal points of past research: types of wood used throughout Egyptian history, assessment of wood decay, wood properties and composition, treatment and conservation of decorated wood, and the evaluation of chemicals and polymers used in the treatment of archaeological wood and composite objects containing wood.

体育锻炼对大学生心理疾病的调节与治疗

大学生患心理疾病的人数呈逐年上升趋势，它严重困扰着大学生的健康成长。目前，对心理疾病的治疗巳引起人们的重视，但有意识地利用体育锻炼的手段进行调节、治疗心理疾病的人数不多．本文分析了体育锻炼对心理健康的影响，以及用体育锻炼调节治疗心理疾病的优势，并根据各种心理疾病的类型和运动项目的特点制定了常见心理疾病的运动处方。该处方能有效的消耗或缓解患者积聚的大量心理能量，并打乱患者巳形成的病态心理秩序，最终使患者达到身心健康．     

近代河南水患及其救治研究综述

历史时期,尤其在近代,河南水患频繁,是全国重灾区之一。学术界十分重视近代河南水患问题的研究,如河南省水患资料的搜集整理,研究水患的成因、特点、影响及其救治问题,或就近代水患中的重要事件进行专题探讨等等。当然,在取得丰硕成果的同时,也存在着原始资料挖掘不够、研究主题失衡、研究方法单一等不足。     

Assessment of internal mammary artery injury after blunt chest trauma: a literature review

The occurrence, bleeding, and treatment of internal mammary artery (IMA) injury after blunt chest trauma have not been well described in the literature. We reviewed articles published from July 1977 to February 2014 describing IMA injury after blunt chest trauma in 49 patients. There was a predominant incidence in males and on the left side. Blunt trauma to the IMA can cause anterior mediastinal hematoma, hemothorax, pseudoaneurysm, arteriovenous fistula, and extra-pleural hematoma. Of the 49 patients studied, 20 underwent embolization, 22 underwent surgical operation, 4 were managed by clinical observation, and 3 had undescribed treatment. Different parts and extents of IMA injury, adjacent vein injury, as well as the integrity of the pleura determined differences in bleeding modality. Prompt diagnosis, complete hemostasis, aggressive resuscitation, and multidisciplinary teams are recommended for patients with IMA injury.     

对我国西北地区沙尘暴问题的分析及预测研究

沙尘暴是一种常见的灾害性天气现象,有着爆发频繁、影响广、危害严重等特征。如今对沙尘暴的分析及趋势预测研究已成为了国内外专家学者关注的热点和焦点。本文针对我国西北地区的沙尘暴问题,利用1961～2005年中国145个区站点观测的沙尘暴天数资料,首先,对西北各主要地区沙尘暴进行了整体分析;然后,确定出了各地区和区站沙尘暴严重性的大小;最后,对各地区各区站沙尘暴情况的大致趋势进行了灰色预测分析,为政府关于沙尘暴进行防范、管理与治理提供了指导性信息。
