全员化全程化大学生就业指导下的班主任工作——以政法类职业院校为例

加强就业指导,提高大学生的就业能力是破解大学生就业难的根本出路。班主任的工作性质、特点和自身素质决定了班主任是实施全员化、全程化大学生就业指导的最佳人选。大一入学适应教育、大二职业生涯规划教育和大三求职技巧培训,三个模块的结合构建起贯穿大学生活的班主任就业指导体系。学校的政策支持和班主任的创造性工作是取得就业指导实效性的可靠保证。

赵树理熟悉农民的生活环境,更熟悉农民的思想行为,他的笔下有积极迈向新生活的“小字辈”,也有在历史与时代进步潮流中徘徊的“老字辈”,他笔下那些在历史与时代进步潮流中徘徊的老一辈农民,经历了几千年封建思想的侵蚀,善良朴实又愚昧麻木,迷信思想和封建礼教观念在他们脑中依然根深蒂固,在新与旧、历史与现实的矛盾冲突中,他们经历着艰难的蜕变。《小二黑结婚》中二诸葛与三仙姑是极具生命力的两个人物,他们是那个年代思想还未转变的广大农民的代表,具有典型性,同时二人又各具特色,鲜活生动,为我们思考民族心理的复杂性留下许多现实启示。     

Assessing second phase high school learners’ attitudes towards technology in addressing the technological skills shortage in the South African context

Abstract

This article argues the case that the decline in the numbers of school leavers entering science, technology, engineering and mathematics study courses worldwide and in South Africa in particular, is linked to negative attitudes towards Technology. The issue is regarded as critical since a negative trend in new entrants into the technology sector contributes to the technological skills shortage experienced locally and abroad. The purpose of the research was to determine learners’ perception of the concept of technology in general; their current attitude-status on seven dimensions of attitude towards technology; and factors that affect attitude. To this effect the article reports on the results of a technology perceptions-and-attitudes survey (derived from the PATT-US attitude-questionnaire) conducted on 95 Grade 10-to-12 learners during the 2009 National Science Week initiative held in the Northwest Province of South Africa. The initiative was hosted to promote science and technology awareness amongst the school going youth of the Northwest Province. The Grade 10-to-12 group included in the research represented future school leavers in the Northwest Province who would possibly consider entering into a technological career. The results of the study indicated that age, gender and grade-level of learners presented as factors that statistically significantly affected attitudes towards and perceptions of technology. The findings of the study raised the question whether the various dimensions of attitudes measured in the study influence learners’ choice of a career in technology in different ways.

Reference Education: Lessons from Our Students

Students reflecting on their time as students in a school of information provide advice and commentary for their faculty. By revealing their challenges as well as their successes, educators can themselves reflect on the impact of their teaching and the potential it has to assist students on their career paths.     

Response to Reidun Tangen: insiders and relational problems

This paper reports the experiences of special education needs co‐ordinators (SENCOs) on the inclusion of pupils with a visual impairment (VI) in mainstream schools in Northern Ireland. A mixed method approach (postal questionnaire survey (n=113) and interviews (n=6)) was utilised to triangulate the findings. The results indicate an inverse relationship between school years and pupil numbers, with negligible numbers of pupils with a VI reported in higher level examination classes. They also reveal that, for health and safety reasons and due to problems in accessing text books, some schools discourage pupils with a VI from studying subjects such as technology and design, physical education and mathematics. While pupils with a VI are thought to enjoy the social aspects of school life (e.g., peer friendships), less is known about their ability to access a number of areas within the school, including lunchtime clubs and the dinner hall. These findings raise questions about the qualitative nature of the educational experience afforded pupils with a VI.     

走向专业成长的大学生创业教育

走向创业是大学生成功的重要标志,也是大学专业教育的意义所在。然而,当前的大学生创业教育往往脱离了专业知识基础,创业教育形式化、空洞化。这种课堂创业教育的后果之一就是,大学生闯入社会后目标模糊,只能成为游闯社会的“闯业”一族。加强专业教育与创业教育之间的联系,立足于专业教育来深化创业教育,开拓专业知识中的市场价值,让创业思维在专业教育中得到滋养和发展,这应当是未来创业教育的新模式,即走向专业成长的创业教育。这就要求教师要强化创业案例研究,在理论联系实际的教学中进一步加强与创业案例的联系,培养学生基于专业的创业精神与灵感。     

大学生兼职的现状调查与职业发展研究

大学生从事兼职现已成为大学校园里的普遍现象,且越来越受到教育理论界的关注。兼职不仅是大学生参加社会实践活动和勤工俭学的一种有效途径,同时也是大学生思想政治教育的重要抓手。本文采取抽样调查的实证研究方法,从大学生兼职的群体、兼职时间的长短、兼职的目的和种类,以及兼职工作与大学生经济状况的关系等几个方面,分析在校大学生从事兼职工作的现状,探讨大学生从事兼职对其学业状况、能力发展和职业发展的关联性影响,研究高校、教育行政主管部门等如何从提高大学生思想政治教育的实效性出发,在切实引导和保障大学生顺利完成学业的前提下,达到兼职工作需求和发展意愿之间的平衡,实现大学生个人的成长成才。
