调查高校图书馆员的职业现状,了解一线图书馆员对自身职业的态度。图书馆员存在职业认可度不高;职业信念不坚定;对职业前景消极悲观;职业教育呈现出教育机会少、受教育的愿望强烈等现象,加强职业伦理教育可以缓解这些现象。

Reference Education: Lessons from Our Students

Students reflecting on their time as students in a school of information provide advice and commentary for their faculty. By revealing their challenges as well as their successes, educators can themselves reflect on the impact of their teaching and the potential it has to assist students on their career paths.     

Response to Reidun Tangen: insiders and relational problems

This paper reports the experiences of special education needs co‐ordinators (SENCOs) on the inclusion of pupils with a visual impairment (VI) in mainstream schools in Northern Ireland. A mixed method approach (postal questionnaire survey (n=113) and interviews (n=6)) was utilised to triangulate the findings. The results indicate an inverse relationship between school years and pupil numbers, with negligible numbers of pupils with a VI reported in higher level examination classes. They also reveal that, for health and safety reasons and due to problems in accessing text books, some schools discourage pupils with a VI from studying subjects such as technology and design, physical education and mathematics. While pupils with a VI are thought to enjoy the social aspects of school life (e.g., peer friendships), less is known about their ability to access a number of areas within the school, including lunchtime clubs and the dinner hall. These findings raise questions about the qualitative nature of the educational experience afforded pupils with a VI.     

走向专业成长的大学生创业教育

走向创业是大学生成功的重要标志,也是大学专业教育的意义所在。然而,当前的大学生创业教育往往脱离了专业知识基础,创业教育形式化、空洞化。这种课堂创业教育的后果之一就是,大学生闯入社会后目标模糊,只能成为游闯社会的“闯业”一族。加强专业教育与创业教育之间的联系,立足于专业教育来深化创业教育,开拓专业知识中的市场价值,让创业思维在专业教育中得到滋养和发展,这应当是未来创业教育的新模式,即走向专业成长的创业教育。这就要求教师要强化创业案例研究,在理论联系实际的教学中进一步加强与创业案例的联系,培养学生基于专业的创业精神与灵感。     

大学生兼职的现状调查与职业发展研究

大学生从事兼职现已成为大学校园里的普遍现象,且越来越受到教育理论界的关注。兼职不仅是大学生参加社会实践活动和勤工俭学的一种有效途径,同时也是大学生思想政治教育的重要抓手。本文采取抽样调查的实证研究方法,从大学生兼职的群体、兼职时间的长短、兼职的目的和种类,以及兼职工作与大学生经济状况的关系等几个方面,分析在校大学生从事兼职工作的现状,探讨大学生从事兼职对其学业状况、能力发展和职业发展的关联性影响,研究高校、教育行政主管部门等如何从提高大学生思想政治教育的实效性出发,在切实引导和保障大学生顺利完成学业的前提下,达到兼职工作需求和发展意愿之间的平衡,实现大学生个人的成长成才。     

提高职业适应性的实践教学模式选择

自中国金融业逐步对外开放之后,中国金融市场所蕴含的巨大投资机会,吸引了众多的国际金融机构、世界顶级风险投资机构大举进入,使得既有国际投资经验、又了解中国国情的投资管理人才持续紧俏,各类金融人才在方兴未艾的金融投资领域能够大展拳脚.这就使得金融投资人才的紧缺,已成为中国经济建设中的最为迫切的一个问题.因此,应用型大学的金融学专业,应根据地方和区域需要,以就业为导向,构建学术、技术和职业相结合的人才培养模式,并在教学实践中,因材施教,强化实践实训教学,不断开拓创新,提升教学质量,从而提高学生的应用能力和职业适应性.     

The Use of Occupational Images in Counselor Supervision

Counselor supervision occurs during a critical stage when counselors‐in‐training (CITs) are actively developing their career self‐concept as they adapt to professional life and responsibilities. This article provides an application of a narrative approach for supervisors helping CITs understand how their personal occupational images interplay with adjusting to the work environment. With this understanding, CITs are able to identify aspects of the professional career image that they want to develop and portray in their pursuit of a career in counseling.     

The Relationship Between Thinking Style Differences and Career Choices for High-Achieving Students

The intent of this study was to present information about high-achieving students' career decision making associated with thinking styles. We gathered data from two International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and a Governor's School Program with a sample of 209 high-school students. The findings of this study demonstrated that the effect of program on the different thinking styles was statistically significant. The findings showed that external thinking style was a good predictor for choosing social science areas as future careers. However, students with higher external thinking styles chose computer and math areas 73% less often than students with lower external thinking styles. In addition, the findings demonstrated that high-school students attending a program with an academic focus on liberal arts tended to be more people oriented and outgoing and valued sharing ideas with others as opposed to students in a program with an academic focus on science and technology. Finally, students attending a program with an academic focus on liberal arts tended to be more systematic and set priorities more often than students in a program with an academic focus on science and technology.
