画史即画学--邓以蛰书画美学及其方法论意义

体育文化交流对中美关系改善的作用及启示——基于中美建交40年的历史考察

运用文献资料等研究方法，基于"契机-轨迹"理论，对中美建交40年来体育文化交流情况进行了回顾和梳理，分析了外交政策导向下中美体育文化交流"契机"的形成和"轨迹"的发展，解读中美建交的历史背景和体育文化交流的特征与价值。认为：在"和平与发展""构建开放合作和谐社会""新时代构建新型国际关系"外交政策的影响下，中美体育文化交流具有体育文化财富的共享性、体育竞技的对等性、体育文化交流的公共性特征；中美体育文化交流促进中美建交，促进中美和平发展；改变世界格局，获得话语权；树立国家形象，展示大国责任；深化体育改革，促进社会发展。     

Validation of a videogrammetry technique for analysing American football helmet kinematics

ABSTRACT

Professional American football games are recorded in digital video with multiple cameras, often at high resolution and high frame rates. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of a videogrammetry technique to calculate translational and rotational helmet velocity before, during and after a helmet impact. In total, 10 football impacts were staged in a National Football League (NFL) stadium by propelling helmeted 50th percentile male crash test dummies into each other or the ground at speeds and orientations representative of concussive impacts for NFL players. The tests were recorded by experienced sports film crews to obtain video coverage and quality typically available for NFL games. A videogrammetry procedure was used to track the position and rotation of the helmet throughout the relevant time interval of the head impact. Compared with rigidly mounted retroreflective marker three dimensional (3-D) motion tracking that was concurrently collected in the experiments, videogrammetry accurately calculated changes in translational and rotational velocity of the helmet using high frame rate (two cameras at 240 Hz) video (7% and 15% error, respectively). Low frame rate (2 cameras at 60 Hz) video was adequate for calculating pre-impact translational velocity but not for calculating the translational or rotational velocity change of the helmet during impact.     

1934年至1935年《申报》对江湾体育场的记述

江湾体育场是上海市五角场地区的一个地标性建筑，它在1935年建成之后的八十多年中，对上海市民的体育文化生活产生了巨大的影响。《申报》作为中华人民共和国成立之前沪上最知名甚至是全国知名的报纸，它所刊登的报道较能真实地还原当时上海的社会风貌。通过查阅《申报》关于江湾体育场筹备和建设的报道，调查江湾体育场建设的动因、进程和民众对于它的态度，重构上海及全国民众对于江湾体育场的历史记忆。研究发现：1934-1935年间，《申报》对江湾体育场的报道主要集中在筹备过程和落成之后，筹备过程中的报道主要围绕体育场的建设规划和前期准备等方面；落成之后，报道的内容转变为以对体育场的介绍为主。

福建武夷山景区和台湾阿里山景区是海峡两岸两大著名旅游景区,通过对所得数据进行定量对比分析,得出同一游客群体下两景区各自具备的优劣势感知要素,并为景区今后及海峡旅游的形象塑造提供策略和调整建议。     

Toward an Ethical Rhetoric of the Digital Scientific Image: Learning From the Era When Science Met Photoshop

Over the past two decades, scientific editors have attempted to correct “mistaken” assumptions about scientific images and to curb unethical image-manipulation practices. Reactions to the advent and abuse of image-adjustment software (such as Adobe Photoshop) reveal the complex relations among visual representations, scientific credibility, and epistemic rhetoric. Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca's model of argumentation provides a flexible system for understanding these relations and for teaching students to use scientific images ethically and effectively.     

High-resolution mapping of brain vasculature and its impairment in the hippocampus of Alzheimer's disease mice

Accumulating evidence indicates the critical importance of cerebrovascular dysfunction in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer''s disease (AD). However, systematic comparative studies on the precise brain vasculature of wild-type and AD model mice are still rare. Using an image-optimization method for analysing Micro-Optical Sectioning Tomography (MOST) data, we generated cross-scale whole-brain 3D atlases that cover the entire vascular system from large vessels down to smallest capillaries at submicron resolution, for both wild-type mice and a transgenic (APP/PS1) mouse model of AD. In addition to distinct vascular patterns in different brain regions, we found that the main vessels of the molecular layer of the hippocampal dentate gyrus (DG-ml) undergo abrupt changes in both diameter and branch angle, spreading a unique comb-like pattern of capillaries. By using a quantitative analysis workflow, we identified in the hippocampus of AD mice an overall reduction of the mean vascular diameter, volume fraction and branch angle, with most significant impairment in the DG-ml. In addition, virtual endoscopy revealed irregular morphological features in the vessel lumen of the AD mice, potentially contributing to the impairment of blood flow. Our results demonstrate the capability of high-resolution cross-scale evaluation of brain vasculature and underscore the importance of studying hippocampal microcirculation for understanding AD pathogenesis.
