神奇瑰丽的东北文化以其特殊的审美内涵,影响着许多作家的创作,出色地完成着其文化中的审美功能。肖显志的儿童文学创作以儿童小说为主,普遍地反映了广大东北少年儿童的劳动、学习等生活的诸多方面,在人物性格塑造、描写等方面多维度地受到东北土地上深厚的文化积淀的浸润,可以说他的创作在很大程度上蕴涵了因东北文化所造就的特色,体现出了东北文化的精魂,成为广大儿童了解东北文化的一扇重要窗口。

崛起于上个世纪30年代的赵树理,出于对农民的深刻了解,产生了启蒙民众的独特方式,其主要表现为赵树理的启蒙感情、“问题小说”的推崇和启蒙视角的创新性处理。     

含意理论在小说翻译中的应用

含意在文学作品中是极为常见的现象。小说作为文学作品的重要表现形式,基本上遵循一般的语言规范,但也经常利用独特的句法、词法手段增加作品的含意性。因此,翻译时妥善处理含意问题,才能真正译出原文的意义。本文以《名利场》原作及杨必中译本为例,对比分析了英汉两种语言的常规性以及它们在使用中各自产生的特性,认为含意理论中的"含意推导"和"合作原则"可用来指导译者正确理解原文并在翻译中恰如其分地表述出来,使译文尽量与原文的意义达成真正对等。     

幻影迷宫——论阿加莎·克里斯蒂小说的魅力元素

阿加莎·克里斯蒂是两方社会家喻户晓的侦探小说作家。随着其作品《尼罗河上的惨案》、《东方快车谋杀案》进入中国,其作品魅力逐渐折服了东方读者。情节上,作者创造了“最有可能的”、“最不可能的”和“圈内人”三种侦探模式;推理中,作者对犯罪心理匠心独具;表达上,作者借用暗示、民谣、谚语,渲染气氛,烘托情节;人物上,作者塑造了“红玫瑰和白雪花”两种对立的女性。所有这些也许并不都符合传统的文学评价标准,但他们确实成了克里斯蒂小说不可或缺的魅力元素。     

Writing creatively in a museum: tracing lines through persons,art objects and texts

Creative writing is often thought of as an individual and solitary pursuit. This is partly owing to Romantic (and still popular) notions of creativity as residing in highly gifted individuals, but also to the widely held belief that writing is a lonely rather than a social activity. The research presented in this paper provides a unique insight into the creative process by tracing the way one poem is produced by a member of a creative writing class based on a major urban art gallery. Based on a 5‐year ethnographic study of this class, it employs interview material, field notes, photographs and creative writing as data. Using theories from both the “anthropology of writing” (Barton and Papen, 2010 ; Latour and Woolgar, 1986 ) and the “anthropology of creativity” (Ingold, 2007 ; Hallam and Ingold, 2007 ), I argue that creative writing is a relational and temporal process involving complex and multiple claims for agency. I also go on to show that when the text moves from a private to a public context, these multiple agencies are encompassed and erased under the umbrella of individual authorship.     

Pirates and poachers: Fan fiction and the conventions of reading and writing

This article explores what teachers and students can learn about contemporary story‐telling from a study of fan fiction – that is, stories created by readers and viewers out of the canonical material of previously published fictions. Drawing on the example of Pirates of the Caribbean, it investigates ways in which fan fiction writers develop codes and conventions to govern themselves. For example, online litmus tests establish when a writer is self‐indulgently writing ‘Mary Sue’ characters into a story; the self‐styled Protectors of the Plot Continuum patrol the fictional limits of an imagined world to make sure that canonical information is not violated by fan fiction writers. This article makes use of such examples to investigate how quality control in fan fiction is codified, and to explore what teachers can learn from such enterprises about contemporary writing, reading and viewing. It compares these possibilities with issues of online literacy outlined by Henry Jenkins under three headings: the participation gap, the transparency problem, and the ethics challenge.

日记体小说是与传统小说相对应的一种小说类型。打破传统小说的情节模式,重塑个体与社会的关系,是西方日记体小说形成的主要动因;将小说的公共性与日记的私密性融为一体,从公共表达空间进入私密表达空间,是日记体小说独特的表现手法。得益于这种独到的表现手法,西方日记体小说伴随西方两次文艺运动发展和兴盛,逐渐形成为一个重要的小说种类。     

消费主义的都市文学想象——中国现当代都市小说研究

都市生活中的消费主义话语,赋予了都市小说家独特的表现都市生活的精神立场。他们或理性地审视都市生活,书写物质之于精神的影响;或基于时尚的认同,制造中产阶级生活的幻象。这些共同构成了中国现当代都市小说中"心灵的失衡"、"白领的摹写"、"身体的景观"等消费主义的都市文学景象。     

道德虚构主义的理论困境与可能前景

道德虚构主义试图在实在论和反实在论、认知主义和非认知主义之间采取一种调和的第三种路线.它接受了反实在论的道德属性本体观,但同时又和实在论者一样坚持道德话语表面的规范性特点.道德虚构主义并不可能实现它的理论目标.在它的理论承诺中有着不可逾越的缺陷.为了成为一种有效的元伦理理论,它应该寻找新的出路.
