Religious Educators are the Future

Abstract

Written by the Forum for Theological Exploration's Senior Director for Learning Design Patrick B. Reyes, and Senior Fellow Dori Baker, the guest editorial explores the way ten religious educators embody the future of Religious Education. Baker and Reyes tether religious education to matters of human existence. From climate change to mass incarceration, from racism to international immigration, the editorial argues that the future of religious education is addressing these most pressing, life-threatening issues. It challenges religious educators to see themselves as healers of a broken and violent world.     

种族批判法学的后现代性分析

美国的种族批判法学是20世纪80年代后期从批判法律研究运动中分离出来的一股新的法学思潮。种族批判法学的后现代性主要体现在其法律实体观和法学方法论两个方面。具体说来，体现在种族批判法学概念的多元性、种族批判法学对法律中立性的质疑以及种族批判法学的方法论等几个方面。     

天山北路古墓出土人颅的种族研究

文章研究了哈密市天山北路古墓出土人颅13具，其中6具男颅骨中5具趋向于蒙古人种东北亚类型，1具属欧罗巴人种类型。7具女性颅骨中5具属蒙古人种类型，2具属欧罗巴人种类型。天山北路古墓的年代是公元前19—13世纪。     

唐代陕州姚氏文学世家的形成

由于唐代大兴科举，化政策宽松，形成了不少奉儒守官、家传师教的化世家。在这群星璀璨的化世家中，陕州姚氏学世家就是比较夺目的一个。一代名相姚崇明于吏道，断割不滞，剖析若流，人称“救时宰相”，有作品传世。其孙姚系、姚伦清尘远播，骚雅接响，皆有诗名。姚崇曾孙姚合为中唐诗坛一代宗师，人称“诗颖”，与贾岛齐名。姚合善于奖掖后人，其门生李频勤奋好学，诗名早发，姚合以女妻之。姚氏学世家成就辉煌，对后世坛影响极大，是值得称道的。     

高校男生1000米跑锻炼教学方案研究

1000米成绩是反映高校男生耐力素质和中长距离运动能力的指标之一。为了增强学生体质，提高教学效果，本文采用正交试验设计方法，通过实验对1000米跑的速度、耐力、速度耐力三个因素进行定量研究，选取最佳因子组合成可供采用的1000米锻炼的教学优选方案。     

Counter-stories as representations of the racialized experiences of students of color in higher education and student affairs graduate preparation programs

In this paper, we employ Critical Race Theory theoretically and methodologically to examine the racialized experiences of students of color in higher education and student affairs (HESA) graduate preparation programs. We employ counter-storytelling as a method for constructing narratives that disrupt the master narrative found within HESA graduate preparation programs, which often boast an espoused commitment to diversity and social justice. Based on a study of 29 graduate students of color in 21 master’s programs across the United States, the counter-stories reflect the endemic nature of racism in graduate education including the classroom, academic program, and campus. Students expressed experiences of tokenization, disappointment, feelings of frustration, anger, and racial battle fatigue. Implications for improving racial climates in graduate education are also shared.     

Complicated contradictions amid Black feminism and millennial Black women teachers creating curriculum for Black girls

ABSTRACT

Millennial Black women teachers wrestle with two simultaneous burdens: disrupting the racist and sexist status quo of schooling through curriculum, and employing tactics to survive school politics among their majority White women colleagues. This article describes how the Sisters of Promise (SOP) curriculum aligned with Black feminism and Black feminist pedagogy, and how it did not. This curriculum was created for Black girls within the margins of school by a millennial Black woman teacher and other Black women teachers. Analysis of the SOP curriculum revealed that even with the best of intentions, and even for relatively self-aware millennial Black women teachers, it is possible to present Black girl students with contradictory messages, due to a lack of exposure to Black feminism, Black feminist pedagogy, and the work of Black women educational scholars, in their curriculum studies. Included are implications and recommendations for millennial Black women teachers creating curriculum for Black girls.

总结86名青年教师在教学比赛中出现的失误,得知青年教师无论在教材分析、教法学法、教学过程和教学基本功方面均存在一系列问题,这也是教学过程中的普遍现象,通过分析原因,提出解决措施和改进方法,为提高教师教学综合素质提供实践依据。     

文化身份认同视角:城市中产阶层热衷于马拉松的动因考究及问题规避

马拉松运动通过符号化成为人们的一种文化消费方式,并受到城市中产阶层的青睐捧。基于文化身份认同的视角,借助布迪厄的阶级理论,深入探究城市中产阶层热衷于马拉松的动因。研究认为,马拉松经由个人趣味,演变而成阶层惯习,进而产生社会区隔,被区隔出来的马拉松爱好者群体,通过对自我意识和所处阶层意识的强化以及这种阶层文化消费水平的保持实现了其文化身份的认同。对城市中产阶层热衷于马拉松而产生的问题有一个新视角的思考,并通过规避方案的设计,促进健康、理性的马拉松消费氛围的形成,使得城市中产阶层的文化身份认同感更为稳定,同时推动马拉松赛事的可持续发展。     

Foot posture alteration and recovery following a full marathon run

Prolonged running results in lowering of the foot arch and a low arch is associated with subsequent chronic injuries. Foot posture alteration and recovery following a marathon run remain unknown. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate foot posture alteration following a full marathon run. The three-dimensional foot posture data of 11 collegiate runners were obtained using an optical foot scanner system before, and immediately, 1 day, 3 days, and 8 days after a full marathon. The navicular height and arch height ratio significantly decreased from before to immediately, 1 day, 3 days, and 8 days after the marathon (navicular height: before, 44.2?±?5.0?mm; immediately after, 39.4?±?5.5?mm; 1 day, 37.7?±?6.2?mm; 3 days, 38.7?±?5.5?mm; 8 days, 37.6?±?5.7?mm; arch height ratio: before, 18.4?±?1.9; immediately after, 16.5?±?2.5; 1 day, 15.7?±?2.5; 3 days, 16.2?±?2.6; 8 days, 15.6?±?2.2, P?, respectively). By contrast, the dorsal height significantly increased from before and immediately after to 1 day after the marathon, and then significantly decreased until 8 days after the marathon (P?). These results indicate that the recovery patterns of the dorsal and navicular heights following a marathon did not coincide; the dorsal height rose temporally at 1 day after and subsequently decreased, but the navicular height decreased throughout the 8-day period after the marathon. More than one week may be necessary for sufficient foot alignment recovery from marathon-induced changes.
