大学低年级学生英语写作缺陷分析及对策建议

大学低年级学生英语写作中存在不少缺陷和不足。本文主要从词汇匮乏、句式单调、衔接不妥、内容空洞这四个方面进行分析探讨,并提出对策建议,强调大学新生入学伊始就应该在巩固原有英语水平的同时加强写作训练,教师在写作教学中要注重英汉差异,帮助学生掌握英文写作策略,扩大英语阅读量,训练思维能力。     

谈新武侠小说的多元价值

自金庸、古龙、梁羽生、温瑞安这新派武侠四大家之后,超越与突破、创新与求变成了新时期武侠小说创作的核心主题。令人欣喜的是,在经历了困惑和阵痛之后,一大批"70后"乃至"80后"的新武侠作家及其作品成功地破茧而出。他们的创作既给武侠小说带来了种种新变,也从历史、文化、审美、精神等层面彰显了自身的多元价值。

二语写作中母语负迁移的影响客观存在而且涉及到写作的各个环节。句子作为表达独立完整观点、构建段落篇章的基本单位起着至关重要的作用。因此,分析和探究母语负迁移对句法造成的影响有利于写作教学的有效开展。     

Metaphor——A Tool for Writing

Figurative speeches, especially metaphors that prevail essays, novels, reports, poems, etc. give flavor, if not life, to writings, help express the inexpressible, bring the abstract concrete, make the tedious succinct, and illuminate the vague and the ambiguous bright and clear. It seems that metaphors to writing is what salt to cooking ─ and more. In this paper, we are attempting to drag it to a "down-to-earth" tool to be handy to common learners by quoting examples from various styles to show how it can be used to increase language power and how important it is for ordinary Chinese learners of English to get familiar with and learn to employ metaphors and other figurative speeches in writing. We should be able to use words in non-literal sense to lend force to an idea, to heighten effects, or to create atmosphere, so as to make our writings eligible at least for practical use and readable for an ordinary native speaker of English.     

主位推进模式对大学英语写作教学的启示——以一次当堂作文练习为例

由于传统的英语写作教学过分注重语法和句子结构,学生能够写出合乎语法的正确句子,却不知如何布局谋篇,如何处理句子与段落、段落与篇章的关系。该文运用主位推进模式分析非英语专业学生的一次当堂四级水平要求的英语作文,着重从语篇层面分析学生的弱点,探讨该理论在大学英语写作教学中的应用。     

刘应登批注《世说新语》简论

刘应登批注《世说新语》,既进行词语、典故、史实、人物的训实,又涉及小说人物性格、情节设置、艺术表现的评点。虽然由于刘应登对小说文体的特性并没有表现出非常清醒的认识,他还不能有意识地从小说文体这个角度切入进行批注,因而对《世说新语》小说特征的认识不免有限,但其批注却在很多方面启发了稍后中国古代小说评点艺术的创始人刘辰翁。刘应登对于中国古代小说评点的贡献应予以肯定。     

明清小说中“离经叛道”者之初探

明清时代是中国古典小说最为灿烂辉煌的时代,塑造出大量与封建传统道德和伦理纲常格格不入的＂离经叛道＂者。本文就明清小说中＂离经叛道＂者的形象进行初步探析,并从社会及作者自身两方面对其形成原因作出分析。     

言说空间的折叠：日据时期台湾小说中的隐喻——以赖和、杨逵、吴浊流为例

隐喻是日据时期台湾小说中的一种重要书写策略和修辞方式。通过以赖和、杨逵、吴浊流三位台湾作家的代表作为研究对象,从作品命名、文本情节、小说人物和事物等角度阐述日据时期台湾小说中的隐喻形式,并对这一修辞行为的历史语境作了考察。     

Improving Writing Skills of Thai EFL Students by Recognition of and Compensation for Factors of L 1 to L2 Negative Transfer

In this study, we examined the likelihood of a TAME （extended technology acceptance model）, in which the interrelationships among computer self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, intention to use and self-reported use of computer-mediated technology were tested. In addition, the gender- and age-invariant of its causal structure were evaluated. The data were collected from a self-reported questionnaire administered to 477 administrative staff of a public university in Malaysia. The results of structural equation modeling supported the adequacy of TAME. Although the TAME＇s causal structure was applicable to both male and female staff, age group appeared to moderate the structural relationships among the constructs of interest.
