数学教育的若干基本矛盾辨析

事物的运动和发展的根本原因在于事物内部的矛盾性,矛盾分析法是最根本的认识方法之一。从不同的视角出发,数学教育表现出不同的矛盾关系。从教育任务看,表现为内容无限性与时间有限性的矛盾;从课程发展看,表现为稳定性与变革性的矛盾;从教育价值看,表现为期望与现实的矛盾;从学习方式看,表现为直接经验与间接经验的矛盾。     

A new conceptualization of mega sports event legacy delivery: Wicked problems and critical realist solution

The authors present a new conceptualization of mega sports event legacy delivery, which accounts for the problematic nature of legacy by viewing it as a wicked problem. Research on mega sports event legacy has focused on establishing typologies of legacy, investigating outcomes, and consequences, with limited attention to legacy delivery. The conceptualization of legacy delivery has largely relied on a positive, utopian legacy rhetoric. In contrast, the authors advance the understanding of legacy by proposing a conceptual approach of the legacy delivery process, to enable empirical studies in different contexts to be conducted. Specifically, the authors examine the wicked problem of mega sports event legacy delivery from a Critical Realist perspective, which serves to give meaning and order to this complex process. This conceptualization reveals that legacy delivery is inclusive of deep social structures which underpin different stakeholders’ interpretations and interactions, which produce or limit legacy delivery. The role of social, generative structures as causal mechanisms has not been considered as a way to understand legacy delivery previously. Implications for teaching, research, and practice are discussed to demonstrate the value of this new approach. Importantly, this conceptualization focuses on processes rather than outcomes and encourages the identification of unexpected or unanticipated components of legacy delivery beyond the formal policies and plans designed to create or leverage legacy.     

Planting virtual lemons: performing forest protection in the context of political performativity

The socialist People’s Democratic Republic of Laos (Lao PDR) has some of the largest intact forests in Southeast Asia, yet these are being quickly depleted by illegal logging, slash-and-burn farming, increasing population pressures, monocrop plantations, mining and dam building. Foreign government and nongovernmental organizations stage “infotainment” theatre plays to educate and inform the Lao public of its role in protecting the forests even though government projects and concessions are the primary causes of forest destruction. Because all the nationally subsidized performing arts troupes are government mouthpieces they cannot critique the government’s role. Foreign aid agencies funding the dramas are also made complicit in the hypocrisy of promoting forest protection to those with the least power to do so, while both performers and spectators know who is profiting the most from the sale of forest products. This article examines theatrical performances regarding forest protection presented in this context of performativity in which the state manipulates socialist rhetoric to conceal its actions that enrich its officials and capitalist partners at the expense of the rest of the Lao public.     

Votary,Vixen and Vulgarian: German governesses and English Domesticity in Novels by Charlotte Yonge,Charlotte Brontë and Mary Braddon

ABSTRACT

Among the most amusing vignettes in Victorian novels are German governesses created by Charlotte Yonge, Charlotte Brontë and Mary Braddon. Fräulein Ohnglaube is a votary who believes in ghosts. Fräulein Müller is a vixen with a secret ambition, and Fräulein Braun is a vulgarian who scoffs two breakfasts of beef and beer. All are depicted as potential threats to the values and norms of the English ‘cult’ of domesticity.This paper argues that these authors wished to preserve and celebrate ‘pure‘ English domesticity . Their negative representations of German governesses reveal how thoroughly English and anti-cosmopolitan were their conceptualisations of domestic life.

八十年代中后期先锋实验小说及九十年代前后的新写实小说、新历史主义共同构成了新文学回归自身审美功能后的三大流派,剖析其产生的历史文化语境,梳理其作家队伍的构成,分析其代表作品价值取向与审美特征等等,这些均构成特定时期文学甩脱其说教功能而归于自身审美旨趣的重要佐证。

文学有自己的发展逻辑和规律。在19-20世纪之交,俄罗斯文学出现了再辉煌的"白银时代"。十月革命后,在"白银时代"多元美学思想的推动下,出现了20年代的文学复兴。斯大林体制占统治地位后,苏联文学经历了曲折发展的道路,波澜壮阔的文学大潮被分裂为三个支流。斯大林去世后,文学家掀起"解冻"运动,三流汇合,俄罗斯文学又登上世界高峰。俄罗斯文学的高度发展是国家存在的历史条件同独立的文学家队伍相结合的结果。

文章从不同时期教师形象界定出发,分别阐述了以德为先的古代教师像、学德并行的近现代教师观、以及学德能兼通的新世纪教师素质构想,以此为基础综合论证教师形象界定中理想与现实的距离,并就其发展略作探讨。

"愤怒的青年"的文学创作是对19世纪英国传统现实主义文学的继承和发展,是来自英国社会底层的人们对其生存意义的严肃思考,是对英国资本主义社会种种尖锐矛盾的揭露。"愤怒的青年"的现实主义风格的形成是第二次世界大战后英国社会发展的必然结果,有着极其重要的社会意义和文学地位。     

Towards shaping the field: theorising the knowledge in a formal course for academic developers

In recent years there have been calls both for building the knowledge base of academic development (AD) and for systematic induction of newcomers to the field if AD is to advance as a professional and an academic field. Despite the importance and complexity of AD, induction of novice academic developers remains mostly informal and predominantly focuses on the practices of the field. We argue that more-experienced academic developers have an obligation to provide formal and systematic routes into the field and its knowledge base than is currently the case. One way of doing this is through offering a formal course for growing the next generation of academic developers. Such a course could equip newcomers with a more solid and shared knowledge base, thus contributing to shaping the epistemic spine of AD. In this paper, using Maton's Legitimation Code Theory, we offer an analysis of an existing course aimed at equipping novices with the theoretical and practical knowledge to enable them to solve some of the problems in higher education. From this analysis have emerged general principles that could inform the selection, sequencing and pacing of knowledge in a formal course for academic developers.
